Ep 27: Kingdom of the Beastmen

Tohru and I decided to go to the Beastman Kingdom first because it was closer than the Devil Kingdom. Before leaving, I asked Lily for directions. He gave me a map, after which I said goodbye to Yukka and left immediately. Anastasia and Aurora had already left, whereas I wanted to revisit the village in the middle of the forest to give a bunch of flowers as a sign of goodbye.

Arriving at the village, I placed the flower in front of the village entrance and said, "Sorry, I cannot save you, may you forgive me there."

Then, we set off towards the Beastman Kingdom. According to the map, it only takes 1 day to get there. So we decided to run to save time. With the physical enhancement I have, I sure can get there before night. Meanwhile, Tohru as a wyvern certainly has the energy to run.

We arrived at night and saw a large castle surrounded by houses. The castle is surrounded by a large wall and a gate guarded by soldiers.

"So this is the Kingdom of the Beastman?" my many.

"Yes, here is a region where the inhabitants have a physical blend of humans and animals. There are also those whose physical are dominated by humans and vice versa" replied Tohru.

"Then, let's go in, "take me.

As I was about to enter the gate, I saw a man with wolf ears and black hair that extended down was giving direction to the soldiers there.

"You must guard our kingdom with your lives, all outsiders are not allowed to enter. Understood?" said it.

"Each captain," replied the soldier simultaneously, then they disbanded and returned to their respective posts.

I approached the man to talk.

"Excuse me, we're from-" I said, but I haven't finished my speech, a sword blade is already on my neck. However, swiftly, Tohru also pointed her sword at the man.

The guards who were around took out weapons and made a circle around us.

"Who are y'all? What are you guys doing here?" ask the man.

"Let your sword down first, and we'll talk" said Tohru.

"Tell me who you are and what you're going to do or you're both going to die here" the man threatened.

"You can't lie to me, you devil" he threatened for no apparent reason.

"I'm not-" my words were again cut off because suddenly the man attacked me.

Tohru managed to repel his attack easily, but the soldiers surrounding us started to attack.

"Don't let them get away, catch them!" the man's orders.

While Tohru was holding the man, I got rid of the soldiers.

They swung attack after attack, but I casually dodged them. Then, I beat them all up until no one stood up.

"You! How dare!" sniff the man.

"Calm down first, it's not what you see" I said trying to calm the situation.

Without listening to my words, the man put up the horses to prepare to fight with us. However, before he launched his first attack, his shoulders were patted by someone.

"Enough, Arda," said the woman with tall stature, night blue hair, blue eyes, and fangs.

"Unusual meeting with our queen confidant" the woman told us.

"Me and Tohru wanted to investigate an awkwardness regarding the Elf Kingdom. I have an official letter from Queen Lily, but the people there have burned it" I said.

The woman glanced at Arda, who was only speechless while helping his men.

"Then, please come in. I as the Queen of the Beastman Kingdom, Queen Yuzure, welcome your arrival."
