Ep 12: The Attack on the City

When I came out of the room, I saw something strange. The inn that was usually crowded by people visiting during the day to eat, suddenly became quiet even the waiter and receptionist disappeared somewhere.

I immediately got out of the inn and found out what was going on. As I walked out, the adventurers and soldiers of the city ran towards the gate with combat gear.

I stopped one of the adventurers and asked what was going on. He said that the city was being attacked by Wyvern's army, and the guild master told the adventurers and soldiers to head off while the women and children were evacuated to the guild.

After saying that, the adventurer again ran towards the gate to fight against the wyverns. Not staying silent, I immediately went to the city gate to help.

When I arrived, I saw many wyverns fighting with warriors and adventurers. While there is one wayvern that is in the form of a woman with red hair using a black dress and eye patch. The woman also had horns and wings, but this time her wings formed like hands and also a long tail.

I saw Anastasia was fighting against that woman, while Aurora was helping the others against the wyverns.

Seeing Anastasia being overwhelmed against the woman, I immediately lunged forward to help her.

"Ice the sword"

I cast a spell to make a sword out of ice magic, then tried to attack the woman. But she was able to dodge it easily, and the woman jumped back and made some distance between us.

"You okay?. "ask me while helping Anastasia to stand up.

Recalling about the martial arts Anastasia taught me, I picked up a horse and was ready to counterattack.

I didn't press him, I just focused on finding a gap to defeat him. When I saw a gap, I ran forward and started the attack.

I took out fists and kicks towards the woman, but my attacks could easily be avoided and repelled.

"You're weaker than that woman, '" he said, casually dodging my attack. Feeling that he was off guard, I launched my plan.

I stopped the time around for a moment, then concentrated all the magic power into my hands and prepared to give a deadly attack.

Seeing the woman who had already lost, the remaining wyverns decided to escape retreating from the city. The soldiers and adventurers cheered in victory, while Aurora rushed over to the unconscious Anastasia.

While I was sitting limp, because of the side effects of using time stop and fire fist simultaneously. My body lost a lot of magic energy.
