AGUM AND MOTHER

...5.  ...

...AGUM AND MOTHER...

...A man's broken heart is when he sees his first love lying weak. He could do nothing but pray....

...•••...

Today, the sky is so clear. There are no black clouds that usually cover the sky. There are only white clouds dotting the sky today. The color of the sky that was once bright blue has now been replaced by the twilight with an orange color that is so beautiful and beautiful.

Agum down the corridor of one of the hospitals. The boy was still wearing a school uniform, complete with a bag still on his back. His eyes caught the figure of the girl wearing a shirt with her entire buttons open, displaying the interior of her plain black T-shirt. Agum knows the girl very well. Immediately, he widened his steps to ascertain who the girl was. It seemed, that girl was the girl that almost one day had no news of.

"Senja," call Agum.

Dusk stopped his steps and turned towards the source of the sound.

"What's going on here?" asked Agum when he was standing next to Dusk.

"Gue was out looking at friends," replied Dusk with a slightly surprised face seeing the presence of Agum in the hospital.

"Keep, you were with Rain why didn't you come in?"

This morning, Dusk and Rain did not attend school. When Agum asked Arnav, the man said that he did not know.

"Oh, that's me—" Dusk stopped his sentence. What did he think he was telling Agum?

Agum raised next to his eyebrows, waiting for an answer from Dusk.

"It was .. there was an event at the restaurant nyokap, so I'm the same Rain helped," replied Dusk finally. "What's going on here?" Twilight asked.

Agum frowned. Tumbens. It's the first time Dusk asks Agum."My mother was treated at this hospital" explained Agum. "Lo wants to look at my mom too, don't you?"

Without waiting for an answer from Dusk, Agum immediately pulled the girl's arm. The twilight that was shocked because it was forced to withdraw it was only without protest, as usual.

***

Geck! Geck! Geck!

Agum knocked on one of the white doors in the hospital hallway, then opened it slowly. Inside, a middle-aged woman was lying weakly on the bed. There was also a middle-aged man with glasses sitting beside the bed holding one of the woman's hands.

Agum entered the all-white room, followed by Dusk who walked behind him. The middle-aged man took off his grip and stood up, then Agum kissed the man's hand. "Dad, know, this is my schoolmate," Agum introduced Dusk to the man he knew was Agum's father.

The twilight immediately entered Agum's father's hand. "Senja, Om," Dusk introduced himself while slightly bowing politely.

"I'm Rommy, Agum's father" Agum's father replied with a smile. "If so, I'll go out first, you'll be here. Om came out first, yes, Dusk," he said to the two teenagers.

After Rommy came out, silence suddenly dominated in the all-white room. There was only the sound of drips in the room. Dusk was silent, did not ask about the condition of the mother Agum or the reason the man even invited himself to visit his mother. While Agum, he just silently stared at the pale face of his mother. Agum's gaze was very different. Just this time Dusk saw a sad look emanated by the always cheerful man's face.

After a few minutes of silence, Dusk finally opened his voice. "What's your mother sick?"

"Mother is sick with cancer" answered Agum, still staring at the face of the mother.

He looked at Agum. He was surprised by Agum's reply just now, then cursed himself at the question he was asking. What's up with him? Not usually Dusk is not as targeted as this, especially to the point of having to ask Agum. Usually, Dusk will be silent until Agumumu who first open his voice and tell him.

"Why is this mouth does not want to be silent today, usually just be quiet." Inner Dusk.

Agum turned his eyes to Dusk. He knew Dusk felt bad because of the question he had just asked. "The mother's old mother was sick with cancer" Agum said again. Then, he sat on the sofa in the room moving his hands into the air, telling Dusk to sit next to him.

"Gue invite you here because I want to, let me not be alone," said Agum, as if to know the contents of the head of Dusk. When Dusk was sitting next to him, he asked, "Lo's not angry because I brought him here, is he?"

The twilight shook slowly. Why is he angry? Dusk was also a little confused when he heard the words of Agum who did not want to be alone. Isn't there a father who also accompanied the mother?

Geck, tok, tok!

The sound of knocking on the door again sounded and re-opened, it turned out to be Agum's father. "Dad wants to go home first to get Mother's supplies" the man said after closing the door. "You take care of Mother first, yes."

"No, let me take it. All between Dusk and home," said Agum, because it was getting dark. He had to drive Dusk home.

"Will we go home?" ask Agum's father at Dusk.

"Yes, Om, it's gonna be night."

"Yes, you take the gun first. Mother's belongings are already the Mbok stacking, you just take it in the room," Agum's father told me.

"Senja pamit, yes, Om." The twilight panted, not forgetting the middle-aged man's hand, then followed by Agum.

Rommy pats the shoulder of Dusk slowly. "Thank you, yes, Dusk, you're looking for a Aunt."

"Ah, yes, Om. It was also the twilight of friends," replied Dusk while smiling sincerely.

"Be careful with his bike, Gum," Rommy reminded his son and only answered a small nod by Agum.

"We went to my house first, yeah. Abis it, I just take it back," said Agum when they reached the hospital parking lot. Dusk just nodded his head in agreement.

Agum went to his house first to pick up his bunda goods because his house was the first route that they would both pass. So, after delivering Dusk, he could go straight to the hospital without having to turn around again.

***

The Agum motorbike stopped in front of a house with four floors. The yard of the house is very spacious, some luxury cars are also neatly arranged in the trunk that has no cover. Dusk then watched Agum from top to bottom. Agum's appearance is very simple, inversely proportional to the condition of the man's house which is very luxurious. The ninja motor that Agum uses is also the same as some other Eternity High School students. I also never took a car to school.

"Truely said people, do not value people by their appearance alone," Inner Dusk.

Dusk followed Agum into the four-story house. When entering, Dusk can immediately see some neatly arranged photos on the wall and also on special photo shelves.

"Den Agum's home yet?" tanya Mbok who works at Agum's house.

"Yes, Mbok,” replied Agum to the woman whose hair had turned slightly gray. “Where is Mama's item, huh?"

"Stay, Den. Mbok get it first." the Mbok then passed towards a room.

"Senja, I'm going upstairs, yeah." Agum then left Dusk and headed towards the second floor, where his room was located.

Dusk turned his eyes back to the photos on a shelf. There are many photos of Agum taken while he was in the hospital with his mother, one of which was taken when the man had a birthday, also as she wore her Junior High uniform while hugging her bunda with a trophy in her small hands. Dusk watched the little Agum's face intently. He felt like he had seen that face. Dusk's forehead shriveled, as if he was thinking and asking himself.

Feeling not remembering something, Dusk again looked towards the next row of shelves. There are several trophies on the shelf, all on behalf of Agum who won singing races, playing guitar, and also beatboxes. The cup was all he got from Elementary School to High School Class X. There was no cup last year or the year now.

Did Agum stop the music race, huh? think Dusk. Ratna also said that Agum often came to their restaurant to sing and play guitar. Ratna said, Agum's voice was very good, especially when the guy was playing the guitar.

Dusk stopped looking at the photo when he found Agum coming down the stairs and had changed his school clothes with more relaxed clothes. The guy wears a plain white hoodie similar to his skin color which is also white. Agum then took a sizable bag from the hands of the Mbok.

"Remember, yes, Mbok. Don't forget the door in the key" Agum ordered, then he approached Dusk and they both went out to the garage. Since it was already night and Agum was carrying a sizable bag, he decided to bring a car.

"Lo want to take the car?" ask Dusk when he saw Agum open the door of one of the cars that are white.

"Yes, why?"

"Lo can take the car?" tanya Dusk.

Agum laughed at Dusk's question, a mischievous idea suddenly popped into his head. "Lo've seen me bring a car, haven't I?" ask Agum while leaning his hand over the open car door.

Dusk shook.

"Why do you want to bring a car?" ask Dusk wonder.

"Because again I want to," Agum approached Dusk and pushed the girl slowly to get into the car.

The rebellious dusk did not want to enter. “No, no. I'll take a taxi back if that's it."

"Come, dong, Sen. My friend learned to bring a car," asked Agum with a face made as bright as possible.

"Lo's crazy? I can't bring a car and I don't want to die yet" said Dusk, an emotion with Agum's behavior that he thought was strange.

Agum immediately laughed loudly because of the girl's speech and expression. "Haha! Jesus, Sen! You're smart, but it's easy to lie, anyway?"

"What, hell, lo!" Dusk hit Agum's shoulder hard. It was not easy to lie, but Agum's face was very convincing. It seemed, Agum was indeed an expert at lying.

"Gue can take a car, really. I was just kidding. Uday, sneak in." Agum opened the passenger section door for Dusk. The girl got into the car, followed by Agum who also entered and sat in the driver's seat.

***

This morning, Dusk and Rain did not attend school. While Arnav, he did not get any news from Rain or Dusk. Normally, if Rain did not enter, the girl would always preach to him. But there is no news at all today. Arnav has also called and texted Rain and Dusk several times. However, there was no reply from the two girls.

Untold, Arnav decides to go to Rain's house. The house was empty, there was no one in it. Arnav chose to wait and sit on the porch chair of the house. A few minutes waiting, a white car came, Arnav moved from his seat. Apparently, the one who got out of the car was Dusk.

"Have you been here long?" ask Dusk when he reached the terrace of the house.

"Lumayan," replied Arnav briefly. "Who was that?"

"Remember" replied Dusk. "Lo's here to get Rain, right?"

Arnav nodded in response.

"Mama's rain hasn't come home from the restaurant yet."

"So you're the same Rain why didn't you come in?" ask Arnav.

"There was an event at Mama's restaurant, so I'm the same Rain helpin there," explained Dusk. "Why not call Rain?"

"Gue's been chatting and your phone's the same Rain, but you're not picking up."

Dusk slightly frowned, then he grabbed the phone from behind his navy-colored jeans bag. The tomboy-style girl had never brought a bag when she came out. Ribet, according. After he finished checking his phone, Dusk said, "My cellphone is silent."

"Yes already. If so, I'm samperin Rain to a restaurant." Arnav had not yet moved, a black car entered the yard of the house. Apparently, it was Ratna's car. Rain and Ratna get out of the car. Arnav went straight to the mother and the child. Afterwards, he kissed Ratna's hand.

"Son Arnav has been here a long time?" ratna asked with a friendly smile.

"Lumayan, Tan," replied Arnav, his gaze fixed on Rain who was staring at him.

Ratna looked at Rain and Arnav alternately "Definitely want to meet Rain, huh? Come on in, you guys talk inside" Ratna asked.

"Rain on the terrace is the same Arnav, Ma," Rain said.

Ratna nodded in understanding. The two young people definitely did not want to be disturbed. Immediately Ratna held the arms of Dusk and the two of them entered the house, leaving the two teenagers to chat. After Ratna and Dusk entered, Rain walked quickly towards Arnav and hugged the guy tightly. Rain inhaled the scent of her lover's body. Very fragrant, that was the first impression when the girl first met Arnav.

Arnav was a little surprised. He was watching around, afraid that a neighbor would see them. After feeling safe, Arnav returned the girl's embrace.

"I miss," murmured Rain in Arnav's arms.

Arnav rubs his girlfriend's hair. "I'm calling why aren't I picked up?"

Rain looked up at Arnav, but both of his hands still faithfully hugged the boy's waist. "Handphone I'm running out of battery. From yesterday I haven't been charging, hehehe ..." replied Rain with a grin.

Before long, Rain took off her embrace and invited Arnav to sit on the patio chair.

"You miss me, don't you?"

Arnav clasped Rain's hand which he placed on the table. "Kangen," replied the man briefly.

That one word was able to make Rain's cheeks inflate perfectly and make butterflies fly in his stomach. Trivial indeed, but it meant a lot to the girl.

"Where are you going today? Usually, you always ngabarin me,"

Rain never told Arnav. The girl will always tell her activities for one day or places she visits and stops.  In fact, Rain also told Arnav about Dusk. As always, Arnav will always be a good listener.

"So you must have asked the same twilight, so you already know," replied Rain, he was lazy to talk at length.

"But, I want to hear directly from you" Arnav said as he looked into Rain's eyes.

Rain recounts the activities carried out by himself and also Dusk today. Arnav listens to Rain's story without any intention of cutting the girl's story. Arnav's left hand still faithfully grasped Rain's hand, while his right hand moved to hold the girl's cheek.

"Your cheeks are anget, your face is pale too." Arnav examines the girl's face, then his hand moves to Rain's forehead. "You sick?"

Rain took Arnav's hand from his forehead, then he clasped the boy's cold hand. "No, really. I think I'm just tired of it because a whole day helps Mama."

Arnav stood up from his seat. "Yes, I'm home, yeah. You're resting."

Rain pulled Arnav's hand, "Don't go home first. I'm, right, still missing," whined spoiled Rain.

"Tomorrow, right, at school we meet, you take a break first."

"But—"

"There's no buts, Rain," interrupted Arnav quickly.

"Yes, yeah." Rain stood up, then spread out his hands. "But, hug first."

Arnav hugged Rain. They hugged long enough until Ratna finally came to the two teenagers.

"Ekhm!" Ratna berdehem's. Rain immediately released his embrace on Arnav.

"Mama," Rain was upset that Ratna had come at the wrong time.

"His embrace?" ratna asked in a seductive tone.

Rain held onto Ratna's arm. "Mama, uh, I've never been younger."

"Good night, you have to rest, baby," said Ratna as she rubbed Rain's long tanned hair slightly curled at the end.

"Yes, Aunt. Arnav says yes" Arnav kisses Ratna's hand before leaving.

"Yes, you be careful on the road" Ratna replied.

"When you arrive, tell me, yes!" rain's message to Arnav.

After Arnav leaves the yard, Rain and Ratna enter the house to get some rest.
