After a long debate, Rain, Ratna, and Agum finally returned home in one car. While Dusk came home with Agum, by force of Rain of course. They were on their way back to Jakarta. Due to Mother's unstable condition, they are not allowed to enter. Therefore, Dusk and Agum sit in a chair in front of the Mother's room. While Agum's father, he went out of nowhere after his argument with Agum earlier.
Agum sat hunched over while linking his hands which he placed on his knees. Dusk wanted to comfort Agum, but he was confused as to how. After only silently watching Agum for a few minutes, Dusk placed his hand on top of Agum's two clutched hands.
"I'm afraid Mother why," said Agum very slowly, but still can be heard clearly by Dusk.
Dusk tightened his grasp. "Not to be afraid. Your mother must be fine. Your mother has survived this far, which means she can definitely pass through all of this, right?"
Dusk did not know, I don't know what prompted him to say that to Agum, even holding the boy's hand as well. But, Dusk understood very well how Agum felt at this time. Only, the conditions are different. At that time, Dusk was in this position, when he lost his father and his mother. The night returned to remembering his parents. He had not been to the graves of his parents for a long time.
Agum carried Dusk in his arms, drowning his face in the recess of the girl's neck. Calm and peaceful. That was what Agum felt right now, especially when Dusk also returned his embrace.
