The moon shone brightly over the desolate and serene landscape, emitting a silvery glow on everything below. Amidst the silence, a young girl could be seen, her body slumped against the wall. His eyes and heart were heavy with fatigue. The weight of the world was on his shoulders. The mind is burdened by the constant pressure of a person. With a tremble, his hand gripped the phone tightly, his fingers whitening in tension.
He thought of the words he had spoken, the promises he had broken, and the beliefs he had destroyed. Tears stung her eyes, threatening to fall on her cheeks. The girl was alone, looking at the expanse of darkness that bore witness to her horror. Fear crawled his soul mercilessly, as if night was trying to swallow him whole.
He's helpless. Giving up everything, all expectations, burdens, and responsibilities. As if ready to collapse.
A next day
"Spirit!!! I support you always." A message containing supporting words was sent four hours ago.
Kashika has just opened a chat app, and is reading the top message sent by Yatsuki. Both corners of his lips were pulled upwards, smiling. He had just finished performing his music show with his bandmates. The message of support was like a reminder of how much Yatsuki believed in her, even when she did not believe in herself.
"Thank you, but you said you wanted to send a message 20 times, and this was only 3 times." The reply. Kashika took the time to type in a reply while tidying up her belongings, to immediately go to the place she planned.
The door opened and a man entered the room. He also seems to be leaving soon. But unexpectedly, the man chose to approach Kashika's desk and tried to greet her. Making Kashika spontaneously stare towards the man.
While greeting, the man also conveyed flattery to Kashika about her voice and guitar playing. "Oh, thank you so much Rion. You were good at playing the drums, too." Kashika was a little surprised, the man invited her to speak. It was nothing, but Kashika did not know him very well yet. Rion, is his co-worker who joined just a week ago.
Kashika was unsure how to react to his praise, and did not know what to say in response.
To be honest, he was very lazy to feel stale. As of now, the originally normal face now appears a little flat. Kashika cannot control it. The sensitive Rion, noticed the change in his face. The man seemed interested in Kashika. As he stared at that flat look, Rion became unwell, this girl must have considered him a familiar snobs.
The Rion did not know just yet, the girl was indeed flat like asphalt the entire time.
"I'm sorry, I'm definitely interrupting your time? I-" before he could finish his sentence, Kashika disconnected him and said, "sorry, I want to leave immediately. Tomorrow we can talk again. Good day." Kashika then sauntered away from before her.
"Good day too, Kashika?" Reply Rion. She just remembered the name of that expressionless beautiful vocalist. Rion gawked a little, it turned out that girl was the incarnation of the Arctic ice. His eyes watched carefully Kashika's back which slowly shrank, and disappeared at the exit.
"Finally." The time came to fulfill the promise the man made. Her lips rose next to her, grinning.

Kashika carried her black backpack and walked towards the public library. He was not sure what to look for, but knew that he had to find it.
Kashika looked up and enjoyed the atmosphere around her. A lot of people are also looking for reading material. He smiled, almost invisible.
Suddenly his brain spun as fast as lightning to wonder what would be chosen today. “What will I borrow?" Mumbled alone.
Kashika entered the library and saw all the books there. He took a few, but found nothing to look for. Kashika tries to read the title, but is confused.
As Kashika walked past a corner of the library, she overheard a woman ask the library staff. Her ears quietly listened to the interaction between them, and realized that the woman was looking for the same book she was looking for.
Kashika immediately made the same request and the official showed her a guidebook and an inspirational script. Soon he took the books. He was quite enthusiastic to start his job today.
•
Kashika walked towards her desk. He turned on his laptop and tried to understand the contents of the books. He wrote the song script and arranged the arrangement. Kashika soon finished her work seriously. Intend to send the music recording to the band's colleagues. He also plans to send another recording to Yatsuki.
Instantly his fingers stopped thrashing on the keyboard. He's just waking up now. Yatsuki hasn't contacted her yet other than the message earlier this afternoon. He was not hopeful, just curious. What business is Yatsuki doing in his town? Does this have anything to do with his attitude that has sometimes looked different lately?
Ah, his heart felt strange. Kashika rarely spoke, but she was not indifferent. He always paid attention to the surrounding circumstances even though it was not important. 'Do I care less about him?'
Based on that conjecture, his hand automatically scoured the table, fumbling for the whereabouts of his phone. When he finally found it, he quickly opened the chat app. Kashika saw the top message, but it was not from Yatsuki. Kashika reads the name of the sender of the message, she is Liancy. There was a hint of disappointment in his heart, but he could not ignore the messages from his college friends. There might be something important that Liancy will tell you.
Kashika opened a message from Liancy. It was a text forwarded from Kashika's tutoring lecturer, announcing an impending delay of guidance due to unforeseen circumstances. Kashika sighed harshly and replied to Liancy, "thank you for the info, but the lecturer was very lazy. When do I get it then?" Kashika thanked Liancy for her concern, while complaining about her lecturer's carelessness. How could he delay the guidance without telling her beforehand? It was beyond his comprehension.
Kashika was frustrated by the lack of faculty responsibilities towards their assignments. This was not the first time his guidance had been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, and Kashika was tired of waiting. She's fed up. If postponed again, Kashika vowed to quit college. He worked too hard for the script. On the other hand, he had to work during his college days. The reason is also to pay tuition, and daily life.
Kashika felt her head blister with emotion. He slumped on the spot, and linked his hands tightly together in an attempt to calm the turbulent mind. His phone vibrated back, message notification sign. He hoped a little, Yatsuki was the one who sent the message or phone. But when it opened, it turned out that it was Liancy who returned the message.
Liancy apologizes for Kashika's state of affairs, apologizing for her uncle's undisciplined behavior. Liancy offers an invitation to meet, just to unwind, because Liancy is also in the heavy phase now.
Liancy doesn't really have any close friends. Liancy is a friendly girl, much like Yatsuki, mingling with anyone. But perhaps, if Yatsuki has a close friend Kashika, while Liancy has none.
Kashika stared at her phone for a while, unsure what to do. He had never gotten along with Liancy before and did not know her well. But something about the message felt sincere. He could have refused because he was too tired, but there was no harm in accepting his invitation. He thought, maybe seeing the sunset is the right healing.
But in his heart, Kashika could not shake the feeling that something was wrong. Yatsuki still hasn't sent her a message, and she can't help but think that maybe Yatsuki's avoiding her. 'Did something more serious happen?'
•
After some consideration, Kashika decided to accept Liancy's offer. They arranged to meet at the nearest beach.
Upon arriving at the beach, Kashika felt an awkward feeling. I'm not sure what to expect from this meeting. Liancy emerged from behind the rock formation, they decided to take a walk along the beach.
"Sore Kashika, thank you for accepting my invitation!" Liancy, the girl greeted first in a slightly awkward tone but did not take away the friendly impression from her. "It's not a problem, uh. What do I call you?" Kashika asked.
"You can call me anything according to your heart! Lia, Acy, or Lily, just as comfortable as you."
"Well then, Lia?"
At first the silence was uncomfortable, only the sound of the pounding waves could be heard. But as Liancy decided to melt the atmosphere and started asking him questions, the awkward atmosphere began to heal.
Kashika smiled at the girl who spoke cheerfully, as if she felt like a dejavu.

The sun began to set, the sky turned into shades of orange and pink. Kashika and Liancy sit together on the sand of the beach. Amidst the silence, Kashika stared at her phone for a while, unsure what to do. Liancy realized that something was bothering the girl beside her, so she tried to ask gently.
"Is anyone looking for you? Do you have to go home soon?"
Kashika gasped from the reverie, "No, really. It'sit's nothing. Don't think of me" Kashika argued later.
"Ahh, that? Sorry if I was impressed to know. But, may I.. ask?" Liancy said slowly.
"You don't have to ask permission, please" Kashika replied.
"So, I see you're close friends with Yatsuki Nayumi, don't you think?"
"Yes, that's right. Then?"
"I'm sorry, I just feel like, umm. I know Yatsuki" she said.
Kashika waited for Liancy to finish her sentence, her face as if telling Liancy to continue.
"I just feel like I've known him for a long time.Every time I see Yatsuki, my head seems to spin as if it wants to give me a lost memory."
"Maybe you're his old friend? Kind of like a childhood friend, don't you remember?" Ask Kashika in wonder.
"I don't remember it at all. Though rebuking was rare," Liancy also felt astonishment with herself.
Silence engulfed the air around them. Liancy then opened her voice again, "sorry for making you feel my weirdness huh. If you may know, where is Yatsuki? I had wanted to meet him, but this afternoon the number was off" Liancy asked the same thing as Kashika. As a result he did not reply, his face slowly shrouded in gray.
•
After bidding farewell to Liancy, Kashika immediately returned to her apartment. He feels weird. Before inquiring back about Yatsuki's news there, Kashika chose a bath, to calm down a bit from her anxiety.
•
Kashika flipped her body in bed, still unable to fall asleep. It's already night. His mind was racing with questions about Yatsuki's state. 'Maybe he was busy?' think Kashika. 'I mean, he suddenly came home to his town the day after yesterday.'
Kashika's curiosity eventually wins, and at some point, her hands begin to wander on the bed, looking for her cell phone. When he finds it, he quickly types a message into Yatsuki, but to no avail, the message is sent into the void.
For some reason, Kashika's silence was harder to resist than usual. Kashika finally drags herself out of bed and picks up her laptop, ready to finish the script. Intending to drown himself in the musical solace.
Kashika had to focus on something, and at the very least, she was still able to make music even in this time of confusion. He let his mind wander drowning, as he began to play his fingers on the keyboard.
Amidst the sound of keyboard typing that was mutually unpretentious, Kashika's ears caught the sound of a telephone ringtone from her phone. Kashika immediately turned her gaze to the mobile phone and saw the name of the person who called her, Yatsuki. Justright. At a glance, his finger shifted the green button picking up the phone. When he heard a familiar voice, he made himself calm.
"Side!!! Night, hehehehe. Must be missing, right?" Sapa Yatsuki's.
"Ck, suck! Busy what the hell? Why is your number inactive?"
"Look down, it was lowbat in the afternoon! Sisi, are you okay without.. me?"
"Of course."
"Ahh, is that right?"
"That's it."
"Then it is. Ah you're really not cool!"
After almost 1 hour. They joke, tell the past, share the experience of today. But, suddenly Yatsuki's voice is implied with nervousness, wanting to end the call.
"Kashika, actually I still have some business. Just moment! I'm ending it now, okay? I'll call you later."
"Take care of yourself Kashika, good night. Sweet dream!"
"of course. Yaya the warning applies to you as well. Take care of yourself, good night."
Kashika severed ties. His hand closed his laptop, and recharged his phone. He closed his eyes and made a wish, for the beautiful dream to come and dispel the tired soul. With a heart that yearns for rest, may she wake up with a smile on her face, and receive good news tomorrow.
Hope so.
