Mother-in-law No Longer Supportive

Hendra and Ines were still sitting at the funeral telling him many things, Hendra chose to leave not to get involved in his family's feud, not wanting his grandfather's assistant to wait too long. He believes his grandfather and Ms. Narti need him most in the hospital, so he asks Heru to leave him at the funeral.

“Let's go home, it's late afternoon,” persuade Hendra.

“Just go ahead, I want to be here any minute." Ines tried to smile.

“You sure?”

“Yes, Doc.”

“Can you not call me by the name of , Doc. I'm your brother-in-law dr.Ines.”

“Good Ko, I still want it here.”

Hendra stood up and looked at Ines, “ I'll have Nicolas pick you up.”

“No need, I don't want to burden him.”

“Picking up my wife is a burden .. not that she would want to, I first I shif tonight,” said Hendra then rushed away.

Hendra walked a few steps and turned around again, then turned back to look at Ines. He let out a long breath that was the reason why Hendra did not want to get married, did not want to fail in marriage and lived with various pressures. Hendra's mother left him after his father died. For the man the marriage was a scary thing plus seeing Ines and Nicolas.

“There is always a way out in every problem. Don't give up.”

Ines was silent, Hendra seemed to know what was in Ines' mind, he just nodded, Hendra left Ines, his heart did not calm down leaving Ines there, if he had no patient appointment, he said, maybe he'll accompany Ines there. As he drives he calls Nicolas to pick Ines up at the funeral.

The clouds had already reduced the orange color in the sky and the sun was gradually leaving its throne, Ines was still sitting on the edge of the tomb of his parents, after sitting for some time. Nicolas came to pick me up, but from the hospital to the cemetery was quite far away.

Seeing Nicolas coming, Ines could not deny she was happy because her husband came to pick her up as a woman and a wife the attention Ines needed at this time, she smiled nervously.

"Mommy Is she Nicolas, Ines' husband," he said slowly

“He came to pick me up? He was told what he came himself?

“What are you doing? It's late afternoon,” Nicolas said. Ines was still silent, he just stared at Nicolas with mixed feelings, between joy, hate and nervousness. If only Nicolas could love Ines and accept sincerely that feeling would be one, be happy.

‘Say you come because you are worried, just say it like that .. even if it is just a lie I will feel happy’ Nicolas said in his heart.

“What are you doing here?” ask Ines.

“Ko Hendra forced me to come.”

Ines laughs wryly, ‘ Ines what you expect’ he said laughing at himself.

“Oh well, I've guessed,” murmured Ines slowly.

“Did you say something?”

“No, alright let's go home.”

Ines retired to his family's tomb and walked in front quietly, passing through the row of luxurious graves.

“Do I make any more mistakes?” ask Nicolas.

“No.”

“Then why did you shut up?”

“I just feel so tired, can I sleep?” ines asked as they arrived in the car.

“Do not. Let's talk.”

“Speaking what? we've done a deal.”

“Your grandfather agreed to receive treatment back.”

“But grandfather asked us to stay one house .. but I'm not ready un-”

“Do not worry.  I will not take care of your personal relationship as we have agreed, just as we used to let's continue like that again" Ines said, as Nicolas hesitated to stay together again.

Darto decided to live in Jakarta, orphanage and plantation in the village he handed over to Bu Narti , the woman who took over all the responsibilities that are usually held by Darto. The woman also asked Marisa and her family to leave the Ines family home . What Marisa did was not without reason, she broke the promise to him it made her angry.

“Nes, I don't want you to misunderstand,” said Nicolas doubtfully.

“What's it?”

“Mami and Novi stay at home, Naura.”

“Alright,” replied Ines flat.

“We do not have a house anymore, later if you see a mami with Naura do not misunderstand,” said Nicolas.

Arriving back at the hospital turns out to meet Naura and Novi, the two women stand staring at Ines and Nicolas there is a look of hatred from the look in Naura's eyes when he sees Ines and Nicolas walking together.

“What we can talk Nico,” says Naura.

"For what?" Nicolas looked at Ines as if asking for his permission .

“Go talk to him. I'm going to Grandpa's room,” said Ines leaving the three of them.

Nicolas takes Naura to the back of the hospital.

“Listen! Whatever you do for Mami and Novi, it has nothing to do with me. Don't make my life in trouble.” Suddenly Naura hugged from behind.

“I'm sorry Ko, I was wrong I promise I won't repeat, which used to give me a second chance,” Naura said pleading.

“Listen Naura, I'm married, forget about us, find another man who can marry you.”

"I don't want to, I just want you,” whine the spoiled woman and then continue to wander in her arms. Nicolas still had a little sanity, he let go of Naura's hand and left.

As Ines walks down the aisle to meet Linda, she asks Ines to talk.

“How are you Nes, while in the hospital we have not spoken,” Linda said.

“I'm good, Ma.”

“Mama can talk for a minute?”

Ines nodded, they talked together on the bench next to the hospital, Ines had expected that her mother-in-law would talk to her about Nicolas's relationship. When they were in the car, Nicolas told them that his mother was living with Naura, his ex-boyfriend.

“Nak, Mama don't know where to start ...”

“If Mama is confused let me explain everything. Nicolas and I are back together for my dying grandfather, he wants me to be Nicolas's wife.”

“Do you guys decide together?”

“According to Mama we should how?”

“Mami actually does not want the household of Mama's children to fall apart or separate, but it is better to separate if united without love and end up hurting each other.”

“Mama wants us to split?” Ines stared disappointed, thinking that Linda would persuade him to stay, money could change someone's heart, when Linda thought she would not get the help from Darto, he eventually gave up his support from Ines.

“Alright Ma, then I want to go to Grandpa's room first,” said Ines.
