My Vampire Boss

My Vampire Boss
Ch 5 - FRIENDS

Karin checked her vibrating phone.

Nadia: What time is it Karina Oktavia, where are you?- {stiker mothers take a broom}

Karin: Bare again nyampe, ma'am kos. Do not bring.

Karin replied to her chatty friend quickly. He saw the sign was already red. Put the phone back in the sling bag.

In the middle of the crossing there was a light that so quickly approached Karin, making her eyes glare. A pick up car, approaching at high speed.

That speed made Karin unable to react. The car was almost about it. Another cold. But suddenly, there is a figure who comes to hold the pace of the pick up.

Hansel, the 27th generation vampire. Stopping the pick up car that almost took Karin's life. With just one hand.

The sunlight that entered the ventilation gap of the room greeted Karin's face. He woke up in bed. Squeeze eyes. Little did not believe what had happened.

Seeing Nadia who was still snoring on the bed next door. Makes Karin realize that she is already in the dorm room.

The girl felt a headache, buzzing and stabbing. What a strange dream. Her thought. Karin did not remember very clearly what happened after the incident at the red light.

"Who was nad last night?"

"Ye, how do I know. I went to bed before you got to." Nadia answered when she woke up.

Unable to find an answer to how he was in the dorm room this morning, Karin also tried to extract information from the guard house. He believes that the incident last night was not a dream.

"Well, last night I didn't see Karin coming home. Maybe it's fitting me again to the toilet, because all night I mules mostly eat geprek." Said Mr. Joko, the hostel security.

Because Karin was still curious, he asked Mr. Joko to check CCTV, the clock on the corner of the screen pointed at 22:34, when Karin breezed in at the gate of the dormitory.

He walked normally, carrying a pile of books and no one with him. Look, nothing suspicious at all. Although it felt like the events of that night were so real, maybe it was indeed Karin's dream.

What actually happened that night.

The front of the car is dented, the glass is smashed in the street. The driver got out but could not find what he had hit. The driver had already lost his drowsiness, scratching his head in confusion.

Ever since Karin left the library, Hans kept following her from a distance. He performed a spontaneous action to see the danger that would befall the girl. The road that night was quite quiet. Many street lights have died.

With the vampire speed at his disposal, Hans is able to take Karin without people realizing it. The other person had actually been too busy with his own thoughts, and had also not paid much attention to the brief happenings of the night. If anything, Hans had already ordered Albus to deal with it.

Hans was able to perform a high degree of hypnosis, with the red eyes of a vampire, he was able to freeze one's mind and follow all his commands.

Karin who had been hypnotized after looking into Hans eyes, became only silent unblinking. His mind was now a block of ice inside the illusionary refrigerator. Hans continues to take Karin and drop her off near the gate of the girls' dormitory, away from CCTV.

"The events on the street tonight, you'll only remember them as dreams." Hans further gave instructions for Karin to walk home to the dorm as usual.

Hans watches Karin behind the darkness. Albus said as he bowed behind her.

"My lord, shouldn't we interfere in the destiny of man? That girl was supposed to die tonight."

"Albus..," Hans glanced at his servant with a cold gaze piercing through the soul.

"You don't know what destiny is yet."

Karin's headache is getting crazier. The world seems to be swaying. But the swaying did not make Karin a spoiled woman. Because he still felt strong enough, Karin still decided to go to the pharmacy to buy her own medicine.

Nadia who saw Karin continues to hold her head so heartless and worried, she decided to accompany, anticipation if Karin fell on the road.

Arriving at the pharmacy, they see Nancy there, redeeming the medicine at the cashier. Nadia was already snorting, seeing Nancy's face alone could upset her. Unlike Karin, he decides to greet Nancy with a friendly smile.

"Who's sick, Nan?"

"It's none of your business." Nancy tidied up the medicine wrap and put it in her pocket. Just take it from both of them.

After being far away and invisible again, it was Nadia's turn to speak.

"I told you, I pretend I don't know. SKSD lu Rin."

"So, there's no harm in people." Karin shrugged her shoulders.

"Tonight you ain't working?"

"No, I resigned."

"Because of Rangga huh? Horror the cafe is their permanent place to gig."

"Well, that's you know."

"No papa, there is no harm in making you sprain. Hehe" Nadia was like replying to Karin's words in the pharmacy earlier. Followed by a pile of pillows that now hit his face.

Sunday night.

Karin and Nadia go to a newly opened cafe in the city. The girl is actually rarely sniffing like this, but sometimes it is okay.

He needs to refresh his mind, a lot of things happen all week. Playing and resting are just as important as learning.

After all this cafe is offering an interesting promotion, buy one free one. Appreciable.

Karin obviously couldn't order coffee, her stomach wasn't strong for that 'black. Although the bartender already offers a mild type of coffee that is safe for people with stomach ulcers, Karin still shook her head.

He finally ordered avocado juice. While Nadia ordered espresso, also a few additional snacks.

While enjoying the atmosphere of the cafe, Karin chokes on her own drink. The person he was currently most unwilling to meet was walking from the entrance.

Wearing a casual shirt and torn black jeans on the knee. Rangga was initially unconscious, but for a moment their eyes immediately met.

"Wow, I think someone's a fool." Nadia tried to tease, the cold atmosphere of AC now suddenly became hot for Karin.

"Kok, can he be here? You asked, right?"

"Eh. No Rin, I swear by kuntilanak kecebur got. I don't know at all." Nadia instantly formed the V finger, defending herself. While Rangga who saw Karin there began to walk over.

"What am I supposed to do?" It was too late for Karin to pretend not to see.

"It's easy, if you run away it just seems weird." Nadia gave an instant clue.

Rangga was already standing before them. He seemed happy and greeted the two. Leisurely Rangga sat on the chair (after asking permission). He sat straight with Karin.

Nadia who felt like a bully in the chat of these two people, permission to go to the toilet. Inwardly, Karin cursed Nadia for leaving her alone trapped in a crocodile cage.

"Said the cafe manager, you quit huh, why?"

"No papa, just take a vacation first."

"Holiday does not have to resign. There must be something, Rin's story. You'll help me, maybe I can help you with your problems, too."

The thing is, it's because you're RANGGA. The problem it's you.

Karin couldn't possibly answer what she had in mind right now. He smiled fakely and once again replied with a similar sentence, more and more college assignments, this is it, various reasons. Karin tries to shift the topic by asking why Rangga came to this cafe, and where is Stela.

"Our relationship is still unresolved, Rin. I came to this cafe because I made an appointment to see his dad. He said there's something to talk about, specifically four eyes."

"Oh, I see." Karin hoped to stop this foul talk. After breaking his heart and finishing 1 dus tissue, his tears had dried up for Rangga.

If he could not move on in the past, it was because there was hope that Rangga still loved him. After knowing Rangga was already with other women, Karin could let go of this feeling. Karin still has self-esteem and does not want to disturb other people's relationships.

And luckily Rangga's phone suddenly sang, the man answered the call. Nodding. Then close the connection.

"I have to go to the second floor, Rin. Stela's father was waiting there. If there's any news." Rangga hurried to leave Karin.

The girl understood very well, if Rangga's last sentence was just a sweetener. The man couldn't possibly really care about what Karin was feeling. The proof is clearly plastered like a wc suction ad.

Suffice a truly sincere friend, accepting what is who can know all the problems of life that Karin experienced.

"Nadia, we're pulling it out now."
