4 - CAMPUS C

The next day Karin did not say much, still moody. But it's better than the day before. Lectures were also again canceled, replaced with assignments.

Mr. Samin, the Mental Health lecturer is famous for being super busy. Though it was the course that Karin had always been waiting for.

Therefore rather than go home and just sleep (which would obviously make Karin more upset), it is better to concern himself with more useful things.

Karin saw the clock, at 1 pm is the bus schedule to campus C. The campus is divided into 4 sections, Karin Dormitory is on campus B, the university has provided free bus facilities every 30 minutes for the mobility of its students.

In order to save money monthly, of course Karin will use this facility to the maximum. Nadia did not come, because last night they had split the task.

It's a little annoying to have to repeat looking for data again. But they still have enough time.

On campus C is the most complete library that can provide him with a lot of data. A brilliant idea must be accompanied by systematic data.

The library was towering, the design of the building resembled an open book. A month ago they had just fully upgraded to a digital system.

Previously only lecturers and campus officials were allowed to use this system. Because of the massive demo of the students who demanded that the system be generalized.

Many students who have difficulty finding references either for thesis or for scientific competitions, the average scientific journal is difficult to get because it is paid. Students must use illegal means to get it for free.

With this system upgrade one of its uses is to solve that problem.  Actually not the campus does not want, but the funds are not enough.

After the blatant demands it seemed the campus was racking its brains, looking for investors to finance.

Rumors mill about the emergence of a very kind young conglomerate, agreeing on all the costs that will be incurred for the improvement of library facilities, paying all the costs. Without a penny in return.

People talk about it a lot, but do not know exactly the name of the donor. After a few weeks, the news sank. Replaced with new, hotter gossip.

Karin from earlier had devoured several sheets of writing. He did the work of Mr. Samin first. Although the task deadline given was still a week, Karin completed it now.

There's no harm. In the past he did like to procrastinate the tasks that the lecturer gave, but because now busy working part time, inevitably the task must be completed as soon as possible.

The task of college has the nature of 'paperman', if ignored then he will call his other friends, stacked, and beat Karin all out.

After finishing the task, Karin opened the laptop and noted important things related to the project. Sometimes he opens a special website that has been provided by the campus library to find scientific sources.

When she finds what she's looking for, and gets a little dizzy from the letters and numbers that start dancing, Karin decides to take a walk in another hallway of a fiction-themed bookshelf. Seeing an interesting title, open several pages of the book and then put it back.

Karin squinted her eyes to look at the top shelf of books that were quite tall. He wanted to take the book but did not arrive, Karin tiptoed but the book was still out of reach.

It was there that a tall figure with long arms appeared, pulling the book that Karin wanted. Karin looked up at the man's face. 

"Sir Hansel??" Karin asked to be sure, he was a little confused why the guest lecture filler yesterday could be here. Could there be a guest lecture also in the library hall? I don't know.

The one who was called was silent. His attitude is so cold. After taking the book he immediately gave it to Karin. Then leave. Didn't say anything. 

So arrogant. 

As it was not finished yet, Karin decided to bring some books home. He came to the lending room, and there it turned out that Karin met again with a cold man who did not budge when he was greeted.

In the man's hand was a book he seemed to want to borrow. The Secrets of Vampires - Uncovering the Secrets of Vampires. 

Karin reaches into her bag, realizing that if her library card forgot to be carried. 

"Oh, how about."

"What's the non?" the loan officer asked, the queue got longer because Karin had long been looking for the card. He really didn't bring it. 

"It's buk, can't the book be pinned without a member card?"

"Oh non, sorry can't. It's policy if one person, must use his own member card if you want a book minjem." The library staff explained it well. 

Karin scratched her head, what a troublesome rule. But since this was her carelessness as well, then Karin could only sigh slowly. Just as he wanted to get out of the queue, someone behind him spoke. 

"Wait, just wear this." The man offered a black card. Black cards, VIP cards, library-only cards that allow their owners to borrow books and ignore all rules.

Even the owner of the card can borrow as much as he wants, and can return the book without being fined even if it is too late, in short the book borrowed with the card is free to be returned or not. Really a magic card. 

The librarian immediately understood when offered a Black card, because he understood that this was a VIP visitor he immediately processed quickly. Do not ask this that, because the queue is also still a lot. 

"Thank you, Mr. Hansel."

The man just nodded slowly. After his book was also completed put into lending data, again he went with an ice-cold attitude of Antarctica. 

This time Karin didn't think badly of Mr. Hansel. Instead he felt very lucky to see the 'devotion' card which he said was just a fairy tale.

He became free to enjoy and did not have to bother going back and forth to do an extension for important books that have been borrowed. Karin tried to be prejudiced, maybe Mr. Hansel is indeed a person who does not talk much.

At least he has been very good with twice helping Karin today, sometime Karin hope to repay that kindness.  

Karin's luck seems to be over. He was late to catch the last bus that night. The distance between campus C to Karin dormitory on campus B, more or less can be reached only 15 minutes if using a bus.

If Karin walks fast, she takes at least 30 minutes. If Karin uses the services of an online motorcycle taxi, then he must pay 15 thousand.

For some people, the value is small. But for Karin who is only an overseas student, 15 thousand is very valuable money. Karin didn't think long to decide that tonight she'd just walk home.

After 10 minutes of walking, Karin arrived at the intersection of the red light. He just checked hp, there was a chat from Nadia.

A black pick-up car pierces the darkness of the night. Because of the condition of the driver who is sleepy, he does not focus anymore and continues to increase speed. The driver did not realize the lights were red, and a girl was crossing the street.

Karin better not go home on foot that night.
