My Success for Mom's Dad

My Success for Mom's Dad
Life

Day after day I have passed, never ask what I was yesterday, or what I am doing today because what I am doing is the same learning and learning. What else can I do besides go to school in the morning and go home in the afternoon. The routine is quite boring from an early age to adolescence.

One year was in the playgroup, two years in kindergarten and twelve years were in elementary school through high school. Long enough to learn the meaning of life. However, the real life is not in school because the real life is when we are in the community.

No matter how well we do it will look bad in front of people who look bad, and as bad as anything we do it will look good in front of people who look at us well. Most important as long as we do good and do not harm others, do it wholeheartedly because others only know the results and do not know the process.

I'm grateful to still have a very good chance today, even though there are people out there who demean and underestimate me.

"It's enough, if you keep thinking about what other people say when we'll be happy." My guman broke my reverie.

I was in the corner of the class was cool looking out the window with the natural scenery around with the green nuances of farmers' rice fields. The sun is bright enough to add to the natural beauty of the creation of the almighty.

"Announcement! Call to Ana twelfth grade of Mathematics and Natural Sciences please head to the counseling guidance room immediately. Thank you." Thank you."

The sound of a loudspeaker from the teacher's room called my name. I headed to the counseling guidance room like the direction from the announcement delivered via loudspeakers.

Tok tok tok tok

"Assalamualaikum" Salamku after knocking on the door of the counseling guidance room.

"Waalaikumussalam Ana, please come in." Said Nia's mother.

I entered the room and waited for the next order from Mother Nia.

"You will continue your education at the University of Indonesia. Here is your registration form fill out immediately!" Ibu Nia's orders while giving form sheets.

"I'm sorry Mom, can I just fill in this room, but what about Aida's form?" My toot.

"Ohh yeah you call Aida to fill it together here."

"Good ma'am," I replied and left the counseling guidance room.

...

Aida's class was apparently talking to other friends.

"Aida," I called Aida and Aida immediately approached me.

"Well, what's going on Ana?" Answer Aida.

"You asked Ms. Nia to the counseling guidance room now don't forget to bring a ballpoint pen." I clearly.

"Yes a minute." Aida turned around and took the ballpoint pen.

"Come on, are you Ana too?" Again Aida asked.

"It's the same with me."

We headed back to the counselling room.

In the counseling room.

"Assalamualaikum Mother Nia!" Aida seduces Nia's mother.

"Vaalaikumussalam. Aida this is your form filled out soon huh!" Nia's mother's orders to Aida.

"Ready ma'am," Aida's firm demeanor while raising her right hand and respecting Mother Nia.

"Upright grak." I interrupted Aida and Nia's mother.

Instantly the counseling guidance room became a room full of laughter with the presence of me and Aida. The room is quite scary, we consider the most cool room as the main basecamp of the school.

"It's already filled out the form if you want to joke later." Continue by Ms. Nia.

"Ready Mother."

A few minutes later after Aida and I filled out the registration form. With a curious soul I express my grievance to Mother Nia.

"Mother, is it true that we have the opportunity to go to college on a scholarship?"

"I explained at that time. Scholarships are many ways to live through which path is quite easy to take. The greater the risk, the more opportunities there are and the more people sign up. The problem of scholarship is many but we do not know which way is the best that surely we have tried to give the best. If one day your scholarship is rejected do not be discouraged it may be that Allah SWT has a much better plan. However, if your scholarship is accepted it is because of Allah SWT's will and not because of the school that helped you but because of your own efforts and efforts." Said Nia's mother.

We could only nod and listen to everything Mother Nia had to say. Nia's mother who was originally sitting in front of the computer stood up and approached sitting in front of me and Aida.

"Look, the scholarship is cash or non-cash assistance to students who have economic limitations and come from underprivileged families. If you feel like you have a problem in the economy, it means you have a lot of opportunities to receive scholarships." Continue by Ms. Nia.

"Well what about me who has a mediocre brain and can not be categorized as smart?" Aida Gap.

"Well, who has thoughts like to be thrown away and not to affect other friends. A student or a student who receives a scholarship does not have to be smart, does not have to be smart, does not have to get the highest score. But students who have good nature, good attitude and can also set a good example for others. Try what you think of higher education if attitude is not good. It would be much better for a person who is just plain educated but has a good attitude, can respect others, can respect others, that is much better." The reply from Nia's mother.

"Yes ma'am, because our life in the future is when we believe. How will we be viewed well if our attitude or behavior is not good. That's what needs to be considered." My answer added Mother Nia's explanation.

"That's you understand." Nia's mother smiled.

"Yes, you can go back to class, I recap and enter the data first. Passion for you both I'm sure you can because you're the best students in this school." Said Nia's mother.

"Please pray ma'am, excuse us to go back to class first. Assalamualaikum."

Aida and I went back to class to continue the next lesson hours, because the break was not finished we decided to go to the cafeteria first.

Attitude itself is the attitude and behavior that is shown daily. The way we talk, act, treat others is a reflection of what we think. Believe not believe, our attitude can affect our success in the future.

Basically, success can be achieved by honing three things: skills (skills), knowledge (knowledge), and attitude (attitude).  Skills and knowledge are components that we can develop with a lot of reading, a lot of learning, and practice. Attitude is the most important component in shaping our character. Of course, a good attitude can be learned and trained.

Competition in the world of work and society that is getting tighter from year to year makes everyone must prepare themselves as well as possible in dealing with the surrounding community environment. The criteria for human resources today are increasingly diverse and dynamic. Every society is not only required to have qualified knowledge and skills, but also must have a good attitude.
