Continue in the counseling room.
"Where will you go after graduating from this school? Or want to work?" Ask Mother Nia very gently.
I was thinking negatively while being asked to immediately go to the counseling guidance room. Instantly the thought disappeared with only words from Mother Nia regarding the plan ahead.
"Actually I want to continue college ma'am, but with my father in pain and economic constraints I can only hope for my dream. And I'm gonna find a job to help the family economy." Answer me explaining the purpose in the near future.
"Are you sure of this decision?" Ask Ustadz Hasan.
I did not answer and only replied with a nod of the head meant as a sign of confidence.
"If you get the opportunity to continue college at no cost how? Especially if the cost is full until the final semester. Are you going to waste that opportunity?" Once again Mother Nia threw a question that was quite encouraging to me.
I unconsciously raised my head and my spirit rose again.
"If it is a full scholarship until the final semester I want to continue ma'am, let alone an opportunity like this will not come a second time."
"Good, good if you're this kind of spirit. The school will try to help you to continue your education to be at the gate of the campus you want." Firmly Mother Nia while giving encouragement.
"You can do it, let's get excited. You are a smart student. Never complain and feel tired of fighting. If you want your future to be bright then you must dare to take a much better step forward." Ustadz Hasan also supported all my wishes.
"Thank you Ustadz, thank you Mom. Thank you for giving me the best way. Sorry if I always bother the school." I answered with tears that soaked my cheeks with great taste.
Nia's mother immediately hugged me and excited me. True happiness can not be told clearly. For sure there are no words I can say other than the happiness and success I want to achieve is in sight.
....
Cring..
The school bell rings. The clock shows at 15:00. All students who just finished performing the ashar prayer immediately scattered out of the mosque to return to their homes. Not to forget the laughter that still adorns the atmosphere of the school makes the sekokah look crowded.
I immediately headed to the parking lot and immediately rushed home, just wanting to immediately meet my father and mother to deliver the good news I got from school.
Even though I was coming home soon, it was useless, my father and mother would have gone home before the Maghrib reverberated. However, it wasn't a big deal that I had to wait for, so I had time to prepare myself and put together the best words for father and mother.
It is true that the condition of the father is not healthy, but he still often goes to the rice fields to help mothers who are working to care for the rice fields and fields of people.
"Assalamualaik." It's true that my guess is the house is still quiet. I entered the house and headed to the bathroom to rid myself of germs during the day I was at school.
While waiting for the arrival of the father and mother, there must have been food prepared by the mother for the meal menu after I returned to school. I immediately ate and replenished my body's energy. Do not forget to wash dishes and help other homework such as sweeping and others.
Right after I cleaned the house, mom and dad came home. But since mom and dad must be tired all day working I let him to rest and take a shower first.
Adhan maghrib reverberated, me, my father and mother prepared to perform the congregational maghrib prayer.
After the greeting we prayed according to our wishes. While praying I shed tears, the mother who was beside me must have seen clearly.
After I prayed, my mother asked, "Why do you, baby? Is there a problem at school? Or do you have a problem with mom and dad?"
Hearing my mother's words, my father looked at me and turned around. "Why are you, son?"
"I'm fine dad, mom." I'm not ready to say everything.
"Mom's story, what's up, son?"
"Mother I want to go to college. But I know you're sick and our economy is very difficult." I said.
"He kept on why son..."
"If I go to college but on a full scholarship until the end of the semester what? Will mom and dad allow it?" Continue saying.
Mom and Dad took a deep breath and looked at each other. It seems like he communicates using sign language that I don't understand.
Mom and Dad nodded to each other. Maybe he'll agree.
"If you really want to go to college, it doesn't matter. But you don't think about the economic problems. The economy or the cost is up to father and mother, you have to keep the spirit of continuing education for your future." Firm mom.
"Yes, I agree with mom. You have to stay in college, reach your goals. Remember son, you are the only child of father and mother means only you hope of father and mother. Father and mother will always support all your decisions as long as what you do is good. Understand son?" Dad reiterated the statement from my mother.
"Yes dad, mom. Always pray for me, for I am sure of all my successes and successes for the prayers and prayers of both my parents." I smiled satisfied with all the statements from my father and mother.
"Alhamdulillah."
My father and mother embraced me and gave me encouragement, support and prayers that never stopped being said.
I cried happily that I could not engrave with words, which I must be happy today. There are so many surprises and blessings that God has shown his way through those around me. May Allah protect him and intercede.
There is no better word than Allah for me and my family. It is true that man can only plan, but God determines everything. I do not know what will happen in the future, at least I have tried to give my best for my future and to raise my parents' degrees.
"Thank God, you have sent wingless angels into my life, protect him, and lift up before you. Amiin." I murmured in my heart to be grateful for the favors and everything that happened today.
That's the story today. The story of tomorrow and beyond is still God kept secret. Just be thankful at all times, then God will add to our blessings.
