Viona wondered why her husband hugged her, and even cried.
Bernard hugged Viona tighter and tighter, his tears flowing.
"My husband, what's wrong with you?" viona asked, hugging Bernard even tighter.
Bernard did not answer Viona's question, he was drifting away with his own feelings.
Bernard did not expect it to turn out his wife was his childhood friend who disappeared after the death of his mother.
Since his mother died, the little girl had never seen him again.
Bernard remembers the last time they parted, Bernard gave his mother a handmade panda doll.
Her mother before she died made a small panda doll to give to Viona, a pink panda doll.
Bernard then told his mother that the color of the panda was not pink.
But his mother said that the panda he made was another panda than others, which is a special panda only for his best friend's little girl.
Slowly Bernard let go of his embrace, with a face soaked by tears, the man stared fixedly at his wife.
He looked at every corner of his wife's face, stroking Viona's face with his fingers.
Bernard seemed to have just noticed the face and body shape of his wife, he felt as if he had not been so attentive to his wife since they first met.
Why he could not recognize his childhood friend, the little girl who always shouted calling him 'Sister' while running to him with her small legs.
Bernard felt he had a real sister back then, when his little friend always called him 'brother'.
And the little girl always shared her food with him.
"Panda, my wife.do you have a pink panda?" bernard asked to be more certain, his body still trembling in disbelief at what he had found.
"Panda?" Viona pondered for a moment to digest what her husband was asking.
"Yes!" bernard's nodding quickly, his chest began to thump.
"Is that a panda like that?" Viona raised her hand pointing towards her wardrobe.
Bernard turned his head towards Viona's index finger pointing somewhere.
Bernard saw the closet keychain.
Bernard's eyes couldn't believe seeing the keychain.
Pink in color.
Bernard's motionless body stared at the little pink panda, Viona made the little panda into the keychain of her wardrobe.
Bernard hugged Viona back tightly, his chest overflowing with a happy feeling.
Not wrong, his wife was the little girl.
"My wife!" bernard muttered so happily, his hand stroking Viona's head while still hugging his wife.
"Yes my husband" Viona replied back to Bernard's embrace.
"Didn't you recognize me?" bernard asked so happily, he seemed to go back in time with his mother.
"Of course I know my husband, the man I liked from seven years ago" Viona replied.
Bernard released his embrace, then looked at Viona's face intensely.
"When you saw me seven years ago, did my wife not see my familiar face?"
Viona was puzzled by her husband's question, and observed Bernard's face and examined it closely.
Viona then shook her head, feeling unsure, and indeed she did not know.
"Didn't you remember your childhood my wife?" ask Bernard.
Bernard grabs a photo of Viona's album from the top of the bed.
Bernard opens at the end of the photo album.
"Is this Mama-in-law?" tanyakanya.
"Yes, this is the late Mama!" viona said nodding.
"And this little girl is my wife, isn't she?" Bernard pointed to the little girl standing beside his mother.
"Yes right!" viona was confused.
Bernard's chest again thumped, and again hugged Viona, after hearing his wife's confession.
Being pecked at her repeatedly top of Viona's head, she was extremely happy as if finding her long-lost treasure.
Seriate....
