The shout instantly held back Marisa's words. And, Jona's attention as well as Marisa was immediately distracted by the shout. They were compactly looking towards the origin of the sound simultaneously.
From the back, came Sean with an annoyed face. He stared intently at Marisa who was before him at this moment.
"It turns out you're here apparently, Risa. I'm supposed to be looking for nothing at home."
"Se-se. - Why ... you .. Find me?" Marisa blurted out in nervousness.
"Dad and your mother came. You're not even home. They want us to pick up at the terminal, but you're running around." Sean spoke in a rather high tone. He did not pay attention to the existence of Jona who was now around him.
While Jona, she did not budge in the slightest. Because he knew, he had nothing to do with the conversation. Spouse-wife talk, then he has no right to interfere. So, he immediately intended to leave Sean and Marisa without speaking first.
But, once again, Jona's steps were held back by hand. But this time, the hands of a different person. That's Sean's hand.
"What's wrong? Do you want to talk to me now?" Jona spoke in a flat tone.
"I'm sorry, I've been here a long time. I want to go home soon because my wife must be waiting for me at home" Jona said.
"Wait a minute! Just for a minute." This time, for some reason, the tone Sean used felt different to the one he used to talk to Marisa just now. Because of this tone, it sounds quite soft.
Then ... suddenly, Sean immediately rested before Jona with his hand still holding Jona's hand. Sean immediately lowered his face.
"Nathan. Ii'm sorry. I really didn't think that you weren't mad at me because I loved and married Marisa. But, you're angry that I left. I'm a useless friend, Nathan." Sean spoke in a regretful tone. He also spoke while bowing his head. While Jona's hand he put it on his forehead.
"I deserve you to hate, Than. Because of me, you're sick. I am not worthy of you to call me a friend. Totally undeserved, Nathan."
Jonathan, who did not expect it, immediately tried to pull his hand from Sean's grasp. But unfortunately, it can't.
"will not. I'm not gonna wake up. Before you say that you're not mad at me, and you've forgiven me, then I won't get up from here."
"I know everything, Nathan. I heard what you were talking about. Because from the beginning, I was trailing Marisa from home until she got here. So, all your talk, I heard very well."
"What's!? You tail me, Mas? Have you lost your mind?" marisa asked with a shocked face.
How not? He spoke at length. He's already said things Sean shouldn't know. But now, unfortunately, Sean knows everything. He did not know what his fate was now. Sean must be furious right now.
Marisa Sean just ignored it. He even remains focused on friends who may now be called, ex-friends only.
"Than, I'm really sorry. I thought you were mad at me because I married her" Sean said, pointing at Marisa.
"Because of him too, which made me mad at you back then. He said that you hate me because I have won the battle of hearts. He doesn't want us to be together anymore. Because he will feel uncomfortable when he is with you. He also said that you would not remain silent. You will fight over and ruin our household later. Therefore, I choose to sever our relationship."
Jona's eyes were rounded due to that explanation. Apparently, the culprit of their friendship problem is Marisa. Their own friends. I don't know what was on Marisa's mind at the time. But obviously, this is too late.
Sean looked at Marisa with a cold glare. While Marisa, she naturally put on a shocked face with bulging eyes and a head that she was shaking.
"What are you saying, Sean? Don't talk too much about the no-no. Don't brag a lot" said Marisa trying to deny.
"Nathan. Please don't believe what he's saying. I ... no, I didn't say that."
"You want to deny it, Marisa? If yes, please go ahead. Nor will I forbid you to deny what I say. Because I don't care about any of this anymore. For me, it's enough that I'm telling the truth, it's done. It's up to you to tell what people are listening to it. Because I know, that honesty will definitely prove you want to deny it like anything."
