Apology

Naila had a glance towards Keanu who kept smiling at him. However, only briefly, after that Naila refocused on the Fruit Sop which had already made her saliva almost come out.

Naila was silent for a moment while watching Keanu's sad face. The man's eyes looked teary. And Naila felt Keanu sincerely apologized to her. Not like it used to be, when the man apologized for raping her, but looked insincere when saying it.

Naila noticed the ring then grabbed it. "Wedding ring?"

"Yes, Naila. Our wedding ring. I always wear it and I won't let go anymore" Keanu said, revealing a ring on his long-time ring finger. Not even Melisa can ban it.

Naila noticed the ring attached to Keanu's ring finger then switched on the ring that was in her hand. However, after that he returned the ring he had in his hand to Keanu. "Sorry, Sir. For now Naila can't take it."

Keanu held Naila's hand and did not allow the woman to return her ring. "No, Naila. Keep this ring. Maybe someday you will be willing to wear this ring just like me," Keanu said as he showed his ring finger back with a warm smile.

Naila exhaled heavily while tightly grasping her ring. "How's Miss Melisa doing?" Naila tried to divert their conversation.

"We've split up, Naila. And Sid is taking care of my divorce papers with him" Keanu said.

Naila turned to Keanu while linking her eyebrows together. "You're divorced? Butwhy? Isn't Miss Melisa pregnant?" ask Naila.

"There's something going on between us that I don't need to tell you. And I think divorce is the best way for us" Keanu said.

Naila again threw away her gaze while exhaling a heavy breath. He doesn't know what really happened between Keanu and Melisa. But he was also sad to hear that the couple had finally decided to divorce.

"Nai, can I ask you something? Just a simple request and won't burden you, I promise .." said Keanu.

Naila looked over. "What's that?" ask Naila.

Naila fell silent again as she watched Keanu's sad face. "But ... Master won't take them from Naila, will he?" Naila asked back.

Keanu smiled wryly, "No way, Naila. I promise you, they will stay with you. But at least I can look at them, right?"

Naila finally nodded.

At that moment, Adnan arrived. With a hasty step, Adnan approached Naila then grabbed Naila's body to her side.

"What did you do to him!" yelled Adnan to Keanu.

Keanu got up from his sitting position and then stood right in front of Adnan. "I just wanted to get him to talk, that's all" Keanu said.

"No, Brother! He's telling the truth, he's just asking Naila to talk, that's all." Naila hugged Adnan's body so that the man did not do the action.

"We'd better get back, Naila!" Adnan held Naila's hand while stepping towards his car.

At that time Keanu felt jealous, especially when Naila held Adnan's body. However, he could still hold it.

Keanu continued to notice Naila and Adnan who were drifting away and eventually disappeared from his sight. And at that moment, Sid arrives while checking the state of his Big Boss.

"I'm sorry, sir. I came late. Did that guy hurt you?" ask Sid.

"Yes, Sid! He hurt me. He hurt my heart and it hurt more than he hit me in the face many times" Keanu said as he stepped back into his car.

"Do I need to reply, Sir?" ask Sid

"no need. The right way to repay his actions is to take Naila back." said Keanu.

Meanwhile in Adnan's car,

The man kept grumbling. Even he was also upset with Aunt Mira who was so trusting in releasing Naila with the Driver.

"Tante Mira is weird, Aunty shouldn't let you go with the Driver! There's me, I'm ready to take you anywhere!" adnan Gerrutu.

Naila just fell silent and did not dare to say anything, seeing the expression on Adnan's face that seemed to be being unfriendly.

"You're serious, that man didn't do anything weird to you, Naila?" adnan asked in full search while watching Naila.
