The Meeting of the Two Kingdoms

1 Year Later…

...[.The Northern Border of Rudolmuv Kingdom]...

The sound of silver trumpets blazed over the vast green plains, making the 100 soldiers of King Rudolmuv rush to wear their attributes and ride horses, forming a horizontal row systematically.

Their war commander, General Dimitri, sat on his black horse staring at the approaching horde.

“I wonder how the famous war commander King Azov always wins in battle,” said King Rudolmuv who was beside him.

Geoffrey, the middle officer who accompanied his king said in a scornful tone, “Surely only news is exaggerated to make their commander look rogue than he really is.”

“But for two years they fought with Navarre, Azov always won.”

King Rudolmuv grew curious about the figure behind the armor. No one knows who and how the war commander King Azov looked like.

The meeting of the two kingdoms was held to discuss the threat of the Kingdom of Navarre which is increasingly becoming.

The dark green flag with the coat of arms of deer antlers belonging to the Azov Kingdom was struck by strong winds.

“King Azov has arrived!”

The two kingdoms faced each other with their respective armies. Red flag with the head of the wolf facing north.

Dimitri advanced Onxy slowly, as did the Azov Kingdom warlord. This was done according to the ordinances that had been set because the meeting of these two kingdoms was not for war.

Dimitri's eyes could not be separated from the man in the armor. He got the nickname God of Death because of his brutality of killing on the battlefield. No one had ever survived the slash of his sword.

God of Death, huh? It turns out that he has a small body.

Across there, Chloe looked at the man with attributes from top to bottom all in black. He's not wearing a harness. Her black hair was blown in the wind as she advanced her horse slowly, her piercing black eyes not being separated from Chloe made her slightly irritated.

Destroyer.

Chloe knew a little about this tall and sturdy man. Soldiers who never lose a battle and are always in the front row. Refusing to be appointed as a war commander until 2 years ago he was finally crowned.

The destroyer of his name? I want to see if you can beat me.

They met in the middle but did not stop. Before the ‘sang pulver’ passed by, Chloe caught a faint smile from her that made Chloe's heart hot.

How dare he look me one eye!

Chloe wants to turn Stormy around and give the man a lesson he can't forget for good. But he abandoned his intentions.

He came before King Rudolmuv, as did Dimitri. They both saluted the king and turned back.

“What a disrespect, salute without opening her armor helmet. This one escaped as the war commander of King Azov? The body is very small.”

The wind carried a voice that said softly to Chloe's ears. The man sitting next to King Rudolmuv said that. From the badge embedded in his left chest, he was an officer.

After saluting her and King Rudolmuv gave her one nod, Chloe turned her horse around and sped away quickly. So did Dimitri who had finished paying his respects to King Azov.

The two of them almost met in the middle when Dimitri saw the man's hand clutching the handle of his white sword, then he pulled the sword from his belt.

CLANG!!

Their swords clashed with each other. Within a very close distance, Dimitri could see the man's brown bead. He was a little surprised because the man's eyes were so beautiful, with pliable eyelashes.

But there was no emotion that Dimitri could read from the glare of his sharp eyes.

They held each other's swords, pitting strength. Then the swipes of the sword sounded as they both pulled back.

Chloe could see Edric with a worried face approaching them from a distance, racing the horse quickly. This shouldn't have happened!

“What do you mean, god of death?”

Chloe involuntarily swallowed her saliva when she heard the man's baritone voice.

“Just ask your king's officer.”

Geoffrey! He must have said something that offended the war commander King Azov.

“Sorry, he is indeed an outspoken person.”

“You okay?” edric asked worriedly and glanced at Dimitri's back.

Chloe didn't answer Edric and drove his horse back. Edric could only look at the two people who turned their bodies around each other. It was supposed to be a sweet meeting of Chloe and Dimitri after 2 more years of their separation.

Dimitri doesn't know that Chloe's alive and Chloe doesn't know who Dimitri is. Edric had been silent even though he had often visited his grandson.

She will remain silent because if Chloe opens her memory again, her son's heart must be broken.

They better meet like this. Not knowing each other.

A large tent has been held in the middle for the meeting of these two kingdoms in discussing the issue of the Kingdom of Navarre.

The soldiers were busy setting up smaller tents around it for where they spent the night, some small bonfires were already lit to cook food.

King Azov and King Rudolmuv were huddling inside the tent. Putting aside their selfishness as a greater threat will strike.

There was Dimitri, Edric, Geoffrey, but there was no god of death there.

“Why are your warlords not coming with us, Azov?” rudolmuv asked the somewhat stocky man.

“Oh, all political matters are left to my peace ambassador, Edric.”

Rudolmuv raised one eyebrow, astonished at the mysterious impression of the god of death. It is not usual for a war commander not to be involved in serious talks.

“His job is to bring victory to me on the battlefield, Rudolmuv. Back on our topic about Navarre.”

The Navarre Kingdom had formed a troop of vampire soldiers secretly. Hundreds of its citizens have been turned into vampires as tools of war.

“If this is left, our army can lose to them even though we have more numbers,” Edric said.

“What about Klan Children of the Night response? Did you guys hear from them?” geoffrey asked as he sipped his wine.

“No. They are still silent to this day.” Edric stood up from his seat, too agitated to sit down.

Dimitri, who had been standing at the end of the tent, said, “Because there are no rules that Navarre has broken. All newborn vampires are regulated and do not make troublemakers.”

“Ya, right. There is no rule that we should not form an army of vampires, ” said King Rudolmuv.

King Azov snorted, “This is really unfair. Should we also join forces to form an army of vampires to fight Navarre?”

“Cannot. One step only, our kingdom can be destroyed. Remember the incident 100 years ago that made the Kingdom of Baratheon perish?” ask King Rudolmuv.

They all nodded. Baratheon Kingdom is a kingdom that has been destroyed by forming a vampire army and attacking other countries. They do not take into account the nature of vampires who do not like their territory disturbed, eventually fellow vampires kill each other because of lack of foodstuffs.

“Navarre actually took the risk to destroy my kingdom. If he succeeds, then your kingdom is the next target.”

Rudolmuv agreed with Azov's statement. That's why the two kingdoms that had been hereditary in the fight, ended up sitting at the same table because if they weren't united in facing Navarre, they could lose.

“When will he attack your kingdom again, Azov?” ask Rudolmuv.

Navarre did not surrender to capture Azov's territory despite several failed attempts.

“Quickly in two weeks. In terms of the number of soldiers and the supply of foodstuffs, we are ready. But if he mobilizes the army of vampires.” Azov shook his head.

“I understand, Azov. I agreed to meet you because if you lose this war, then your living soldiers will be turned into vampires as well. Makes his power even greater. I can't possibly let this happen.”

Rudolmuv better help Azov now before it's too late.

“I'll lend you 500 of my soldiers..”.

Then Rudolmuv glanced at his confidant, “And my warlord, Dimitri D’Arcy.”
