The Guest

Luke's steps at the door stopped. A figure he knew well enough was now standing before him. There was a face of caution over the guest visit that was not invited that morning. Lana peeked out from behind Luke's body. The woman scrunched her forehead as she looked at the figure of the woman she once hated. Lana's gaze looked probing. Lana examined the woman from the tip of the foot to the tip of the head.

“Inspector Tao, how are you?” asked Luke with a cold expression. The man reached out to greet the arrival of the Inspector.

“I'm good, Sir. Nice to meet you.” Inspector Tao returned Luke's hand. Inspector Tao glanced at Agent Mia for the woman to be friendly at the time.

“What's up,” says Agent Mia with a prestige face.

“Good,” replied Lana. The woman did not want Luke to return Agent Mia's greeting that morning.

“Do Mr Zeroun Zein have time to meet with me? There are some things I want to talk to him about. Including my gratitude for your help that night.” Inspector Tao holds a strange-looking paper bag.

Luke frowned as he looked at the paper bag. The man was a little curious over the item that was under by Inspector Tao. He also could not trust the man who had once been his opponent.

Inspector Tao knew the meaning of Luke's probing gaze that morning. With one smile, Inspector Tao gave the paper bag to Luke, “Only a plasdisk.”

Luke received the paper bag. Check the contents carefully. It is true, the contents of the paper bag is only one flash. Lana also stared at the contents of the paper bag. The woman scrunched her forehead as she looked at the paper bag that only contained a flash.

“Guests sign-in. I'll call Boss Zeroun.” Luke turned his body to bring his guest inside. This morning, her training schedule with Lana had to fail due to the unexpected presence of the guest.

Lana takes Inspector Tao and Agent Mia towards the big sofa. The tough lady stood at the end of the sofa while staring intently at her guest. Both of his eyes looked probing that morning.

Not waiting a long time. From the direction of the stairs, the sound of Zeroun and Luke's shoes was heard. The two men came down the stairs at the same time.

Zeroun stared intently at Inspector Tao and Agent Mia. From the very beginning, the man had already expected the visit of Inspector Tao and Agent Mia this morning.

“Good morning, Zoroun Zein. Nice to meet you again.” Inspector Tao moved from his seat to greet Zeroun.

“Morning,” replied Zeroun with his cold expression. The man sat on the black sofa that was in front of Inspector Tao. Luke walked away from the room. The man wanted to take a drink to greet Zeroun's guests.

“Lana, accompany Miss in her room,” Zeroun's orders. The man did not want to leave his girlfriend alone, even if it was only a few minutes.

From the kitchen, Luke appeared with several bottles of wine and crystal glasses. The man placed the glasses in front of Zeroun and his guests. Carefully, Luke opened the cork lid of the alcoholic drink. Pour it into the glass carefully.

“Please on drink, Inspector Tao.” Zeroun glanced at Agent Mia's face. There was a satisfied smile in her heart because the policewoman was no longer after her.

“Thank you,” replied Inspector Tao before taking the glass. Same with Agent Mia. The woman took the glass that had been filled and gulped it down slowly.

“What are you coming here, Inspector Tao? Looks like this time your trip is quite far.” Zeroun took his glass, “Did you chase your enemies all the way to Brazil?” continue Zeroun before sipping the drink.

“I want to thank you.” Inspector Tao put his glass back on the table.

“Only that?” zeroun asked full of probes while raising one of his eyebrows.

“There is another important thing I want to talk about.” Inspector Tao is a little hesitant with the sentence he will say, “I want to invite you to work together to fight Heels Devils,” continued Inspector Tao a little relieved because he managed to say the purpose of his arrival.

“You must know, if without your help I will still beat them.” Zeroun put down his glass with the same expression, “Isn't the police never able to fuse with the mafia? Eh?” Zeroun sneered towards Agent Mia.

“I'm sorry for the attack that night,” Agent Mia said. The woman did not want her brother's plan to fail because of the mistakes he had made.

“Don't be too self-blame, Agent Mia. That night it was you we trapped. It's not us that are stuck.” Zeroun leaned his body on the sofa in a comfortable position.

“We have the location of the entire headquarters owned by Heels Devils. With this, you will be easy to find out their hiding places.” Inspector Tao looked at the paper bag on the table.

“I already have it first,” replied Zeroun not interested.

Inspector Tao sighed. It was indeed very difficult to establish cooperation with that dangerous man. Now Inspector Tao is thinking hard to gain the trust of Zeroun Zein.

Zeroun carved a faint smile as he looked at the confused attitude of his guests that morning, “Destroy Damian's biggest casino. After you succeed in doing so, we have already established cooperation to defeat the Heels Devils.”

“Casino?” chirping Agent Mia is shocked.
