Episode 19: Getting jealous

After a grieving session, Hiyola and Daniel decide to continue with their duties.

Right in the corner of the library, Hiyola sat next to Daniel who was focusing on his laptop. Hiyola's face looked chaotic. Blotchy eyes, a red nose, and a face that looks very tangled. The tree is not good at sight.

"Hey! Stop your snot." whispered Daniel behaved as if he was disturbed by the voice Hiyola made, when in fact he just wanted Hiyola to forget her sadness.

Hiyola clucked, staring at Daniel cynically. "Ckck, just a moment ago you were acting like a true friend, look at yourself now. I almost fell in love with you!" cerocos Hiyola, exasperated.

Daniel laughed softly because the library had begun to crowded visitors.

"Hm.... Fall in love with me, and in this world I'm the only one you can count on." replied Daniel with a face raised haughtily.

Hiyola was shaking the head of her best friend with the book she was holding. "I'm sorry, I don't want to compete with your handsome men." she shuddered in horror.

Daniel's crisp laughter suddenly made all his heads bow, lifted up looking in his direction.

"I'm sorry.sorry.." Daniel's embarrassment as he pinched Hiyola's arm made Hiyola grimace.

"Basin' fuck you, Daniela...!" nagel Hiyola.

Daniel shook his head with his index finger swaying in front of Hiyola. "Stop calling me Daniela, that name is ugly."

Hiyola piqued, it seems like something is bothering her best friend. "You just broke up, huh? Did Anton call you Daniela? So you don't like my calling?"

Hiyola pouted her face. He knew a few days ago Daniel had a story about Anton, the man he dated after breaking up from Rangg.

Daniel pinched the second squash of Hiyola's cheeks, "Have not commented much! Help me do the work, you always talk a lot so that my work is done." Daniel cerocos.

Hiyola took a slow swipe at her cheek. "Basic friend calculation."

As if fighting, Hiyola was not aware that someone had noticed her.

Right at the same table the other day, Robert was talking to some of his clients. There was a hint of vexation that he had never shown to anyone, today emanated clearly from his gray eyes. Robert was upset that the eyes of all the women in the room were on her, except for Hiyola's. The woman who was laughing cheerfully managed to disrupt the concentration of a roberth.

Look her! From morning she ignored me, but laughed cheerfully with another man.

"His smile looks so sickening." comments Roberth, again unconsciously.

"sorry, did you say something?"

Robert was shocked when one of his Clients commented.

"No, I'm just talking to myself." Hiyola has always managed to ruin her day.

Meanwhile, since then Daniel who felt someone staring in his direction had met the eyes of Robert.

"Hey...! You know that handsome guy over there?" Daniel nudges Hiyola's arm to get the girl to respond, but instead of Hiyola's response hits Daniel's arm.

"Don't start again, I'm focused. You broke up with Anton yesterday, remember!" hiyola said with eyes that are still focused on reading books.

Daniel snatches Hiyola's book and puts her on the side of the table she can't reach. "Look there, that guy has seen you since. His gaze sucks a little."

Hiyola rolled her eyes. He lazily turned around, following Daniel's direction. His eyes immediately widened when he saw some men in suits who one of them was very familiar, who was also currently staring at him.

Hiyola turned nervous, one hand she used to block her face.

"Clean the table, we're leaving now." whispered Hiyola.

Daniel was still staring at Robert. "Stop looking at her, Daniela!!!" great-granddaughter Hiyola. He wanted to hit his best friend's head.

"What problem do you have? Since yesterday you've been in trouble with men in suits. You're not selling yourself, are you?"

"Your hand is one day I'll break it." reply Daniel started tidying up his stuff.

"I'll explain later when Miona and Aunt Alya are back! Okay?"

Daniel nodded obediently. "Well, as long as you don't sell yourself, I'll wait."

Hiyola shook her head, "Your mind is just that! Fuck up!"

After tidying up the goods and returning all the books to his place, Hiyola instantly dragged Daniel to come out with her. Like a thief, Hiyola strolled behind tables, ignoring some of the eyes that saw them dislike.

Arriving outside, Hiyola directly stuck his motorbike out of the library area.

"Huh, good thing."

Through the rearview mirror Daniel saw Hiyola's expression that looked very relieved. She is very curious and suspicious but does not want to force Hiyola to explain.

"We are exactly like thieves" Daniel said, trying to melt the tense atmosphere that still clearly appeared on Hiyola's face.

"Hush.we avoid, not steal."

"Who is that guy? It can't be your boyfriend, right?" Ask Daniel full of questions.

Hiyola looked agitated. His hand that was holding the steering wheel started to sweat. He was always afraid to explain what was happening. He was afraid of destroying those closest to him.

"He's my boss."

My husband of a year.

Hiyola continues in her heart. Maybe Daniel would have immediately strangled her if he had said so.

"Boss? You got a lot of bosses, Hiyola." gedek Daniel who knows how much his best friend's job is.

Hiyola showed her mainstay grin through the rearview mirror. "I don't know his job title, essentially he's the son of CEO Meet Me."

Daniel suddenly squeezes Hiyola's shoulder, "Child of the CEO?" From his voice, Hiyola knew Daniel was in shock.

"Therefore I ran away. If he finds out I'm a student..."

Hiyola let go of her left hand, then acted as if her neck was about to be cut.

"Death to me." his timpal.

Daniel hits Hiyola's arm, not horrified by her movements, but because the hand is detached from the steering wheel of the motor.

"I know you want to die, but don't take me." he sewed.

Hiyola can only laugh crisply, since Daniel always managed to make his day cheerful again. Unlike Robert who always makes his shit. Hiyola thought back. It seems like lately he's always been unlucky to be close to Robert. Look, because of Robert, Hiyola had to cut his own hair.

"Yes, I think, I should avoid her." murmured Hiyola.

"Avoid of what?" daniel shouted, who heard him.

"Descending from the cat! There was a big cat passing by." said Hiyola lying. Hiyola had forgotten that Daniel had sharp hearing. Just like Robert.

Oh, that guy again!
