#THIRTY-EIGHT

It was already night time when Siwon arrived in HK. He called Harlem. Harlem came to pick her up at the airport. On the way Harlem explains in detail what happened to Cassandra.

"Siwon, I'm sorry I didn't tell you in the first place. Cassandra asked me to keep this a secret from all of you" Harlem said.

"It's okay. How's he doing now?" ask Siwon.

"Operation succeeded. Just waiting for him to come to his senses" replied Harlem.

"Thank God!" siwon.

"You want to go straight to the hospital now?" ask Harlem.

"Yes." Yeah."

Harlem and Siwon arrived at the hospital. Cassandra's been moved from the operating room to the patient's room. The two of them headed straight to Cassandra's room. Siwon entered the VIP room. There is a small living room complete with a long sofa and a TV. While the patient's bedroom is behind the living room separated by a wall partition. Beside the patient's bed there is a curtain to cover if the patient feels disturbed by the circumstances outside.

Siwon walked straight to the patient's bedroom. Cassandra was still lying unconscious on the patient's bed. Siwon kept looking at him. The woolly Beanie hat appears to cover her head which is no longer hairy. A feeling of sadness enveloped Siwon's heart seeing the condition of his cousin who became what he is today. Siwon's eyes began to glaze over.

"It's night. If you want, tonight you can stay at my house" Harlem offered.

Siwon blinked his eyes at the loss of his sad feelings.

"Thank you, Harlem. Tonight, I want to be here. You must be tired every night looking after Cassandra. Tonight let me take care of him here. You go home and rest!" said.

"If you say that, I feel bad for you. You just came all the way here. Should have a comfortable resting place" Harlem said.

Siwon smiled slightly. "It's okay. Cassandra's my cousin, too. You rest tonight!"

"Then tonight I'm taking Cassandra. You can call me if there's anything or if you need anything" Harlem said.

"Yes," Siwon nodded.

Harlem has returned home after spending several nights in the hospital. Now Siwon himself is in the patient room. He checked Cassandra's condition for a moment. After that go back to the living room and lie down on the long sofa.

Morning's approaching. Sunlight seemed to be trying to break through the closed window curtain. Siwon opened the window curtain. Cassandra's still unconscious. Two nurses entered the room for examination. Siwon sat on the sofa waiting.

Min Jun tried to call Siwon a few times. The number is inactive. She went to Mr. Kim's shop to meet him. At the store, there was only Mr. Kim.

"Ajeossi, is Siwon here? I called her a few times but her number was off" asked Min Jun.

"Siwon yesterday afternoon left for HK" replied Mr. Kim.

"What's? Why so suddenly?" exclaim Min Jun.

"Yes, he said there was an important item Sora left behind and asked him to drive there," explained Mr. Kim.

"Gee, that must be an important item! To the extent that Siwon would have to drive him there himself," Min Jun added.

"Looks like. Ha ... young man now, said he wanted to leave immediately quickly," said Mr. Kim.

"Hm, then I'll go first. Oh, does*A*jeossi know when he's back in Seoul?" pamit Min Jun's.

"I don't know. He didn't say how long he would be gone" replied Mr. Kim.

"All right then. I'll go first! Annyeong..," said Min Jun.

Cassandra's finger slowly moved. He moved his head very slowly. Siwon who was standing facing the window turned his head. Slowly Cassandra's eyes opened. Siwon's approaching soon.

"Sora!" call him.

Cassandra narrowed her eyes due to the bright light. It took a while for his eyes to re-adapt to light.

"Siwon?" cassandra said slowly. He did not expect Siwon's presence here. Yet he was still too weak to show his shock.

"Why are you here?"

Siwon pulled out a chair and sat down beside Cassandra's bed.

"I found the results of your medical examination and flew right here" he replied.

"Ah, I think I hid it well. I should have brought it. Does Appa already know about this?" ask Cassandra weakly.

"No. You don't have to worry. I didn't tell anyone about this. I told my uncle that there was an important item of yours left behind and asked me to drive him straight here" Siwon explained.

"Oh, great. I don't want to make Appa worry. Sorry, I hid this from you. I don't want to make everyone anxious and bothered because of me" Cassandra said.

"What are you talking about? You don't consider me your cousin? At least you can talk to me. Why do you always keep everything to yourself? Even when you're sick you don't want anyone to know" Siwon said.

"I told you, I don't want you all to be anxious and troubled" Cassandra explained.

"So, you'd rather trouble Harlem than your cousin? Sora, since childhood we grew up together. You're like a big brother to me. It wasn't I who always bothered you, uncle and aunt? I who do not know anything, suddenly seeing you lying in the hospital like this actually makes my anxiety increase," said Siwon explained how he felt. Cassandra was silent.

"Sora, you don't have to keep everything yourself. At least you can tell me. I can't possibly not help you." Siwon held Cassandra's hand.

"Sorry, Siwon. Next time I won't worry you anymore" said Cassandra.

"Hold your word!" siwon.

Cassandra smiled as she nodded.

"Here you go, don't think of anything else. Most importantly now you need to heal!" siwon.

"You must pray for my recovery!" cassandra said with a smile.

"Surely," Siwon replied with a smile.

New harlem is coming. He went straight to Cassandra.

"Cassandra, you're sober! Finally..," said Harlem. He's so happy. He immediately kissed Cassandra's forehead gently.

"How are you feeling? Does anything feel uncomfortable? Tell me!" ask Harlem.

"No. I feel good as always. No need to worry, Harlem!" answer Cassandra.

Seeing Harlem and Cassandra together, Siwon chose to leave the room. He left Cassandra's room to make room for the two to talk more.
