Twenty seven

The clock shows at six o'clock in the afternoon, the sun has returned to its contest and replaced with moonlight that illuminates the dark of the night. Mega was still asleep in her sleep, as there was no sign of the girl waking up. Tristan has been waiting for Mega to wake up. He was worried because Mega had slept too long and the girl had not eaten anything since noon. Wanting to wake him up, Tristan felt sorry because Mega looked very sound. Finally Tristan decided to order food first, and when Mega woke up then the girl could immediately eat her. Tristan asks her clerk to deliver dinner for her. He even ordered a lot of menus because he did not know what Mega's favorite food was.

It didn't take long for Tristan's food to arrive. Tristan just opened the door and continued to focus on his laptop. He asked his staff to put the food into the room. The clerk walked into the room casually because he thought it was empty. But after opening the door he was very surprised to see Mega fall asleep in bed. He shut his mouth because he almost screamed because the sight before him was astounding for him. Of course the employee knew who Mega was, he initially thought that Mega and his boss relationship was just a rumor, but what he witnessed today has changed his opinion.

Then bad thoughts started popping up in his brain. He secretly pulled out his cell phone and photographed Mega who was sound asleep. He wanted to show the photo to his other colleagues as evidence. After successfully getting the photo he wanted, the employee arranged the food neatly on the table then looked at Mega cynically before passing away.

Half an hour later Mega began to squirm in her sleep. Slowly she opened her eyes and looked at the ceiling of the room that looked unfamiliar to her. He looked around and immediately jumped down from the bed when he realized that it was his boss's room.

"astaga, what am I doing. Why am I sleeping here?" mega Gumam confused. Mega hit his head because he felt he was already very brash at his superiors. "stupid, stupid, stupid you Mega. Why did you fall asleep". Mega looked around to find out what time it was. And again he was surprised when he saw the clock that had shown almost seven o'clock at night. Feeling his sight hard to believe, Mega walked up to the balcony and opened the window curtain to be sure. His body immediately went limp and he sat on the floor when he saw that the sky already looked dark.

The door of the room opened and displayed the figure of Tristan walking in. Seeing Mega sitting on the floor made the man anxious and immediately approached her. "what happened, are you okay?".

Mega gripped Tristan's hand and pleaded with him. "master, please don't fire me. I know my mistake was big enough but please forgive me and give me a second chance. I promise I will never repeat my mistakes again"

"what are you talking about, I don't understand at all. Why are you afraid I'm firing you anyway?"

Aware of his hand landing in a place that was not his should, Mega immediately distanced his hand from Tristan's hand. He looked down deeply regretting his actions. "I have violated the rules, I dare to sleep while still working hours. Plus, I slept in your bed. I'm really sorry sir, I don't know why I fell asleep in your bed. But I could have sworn I didn't do it on purpose".

"hey look at me" Tristan put his finger on Mega's chin to get the girl to look at her. "there's nothing to be afraid of, you're not getting fired. I saw you sleeping on the couch, because I thought it was uncomfortable so I moved you to my room. Don't worry, I don't mind you sleeping in my bed. And don't get me wrong, I didn't do anything to you while you were sleeping"

Mega only fell silent to Tristan's explanation. Is it true that the handsome man before her at this moment really loves her?.

"why are you quiet?"

Quickly Mega shook her head. "no master"

"i told you, don't call me master" Tristan asked for the umpteenth time.

"you're my boss, it's impolite to just call names".

"alright, you may call me master during business hours. Beyond that you should call me Tristan without any frills"

"why?" tanya Mega plain.

Tristan put her face closer to Mega's. "have you forgotten or pretended to have forgotten? I've already expressed my feelings to you, and I want our conversation to be more relaxed so that you feel comfortable. I want to get closer to you" Tristan said with a teasing smile.

Suddenly the sound from Mega's stomach breaks the romantic scene between her two. Mega's face was red with embarrassment. He cursed his stomach which sounded at an inopportune moment.

Tristan laughed crisply at the sound of Mega's stomach. "well, I've prepared dinner for us" asked Tristan and held Mega's hand to the sofa. "eat whatever you want, eat whatever you want, I purposely ordered all this for you. I know you must be very hungry".

All the food on the table is a high-end food menu that Mega has never eaten before.

Seeing Mega who just kept quiet without touching her food made Tristan confused. "why, don't you like the menu?"

"no sir, I've never seen food like this before so I don't know which one to eat" Mega replied honestly.

"this is French food. The restaurant at my hotel is famous for its French food, which is why I ordered this". Tristan picked up a bowl of soup and put it in front of Mega. "eat this, I'm sure you'll love it"

Mega took a spoon and began to eat the soup that Tristan gave her. He rounded his eyes when the soup had already entered his mouth. The taste is very good, the soup is so soft and rich in spices. Seeing Mega eat with greed Tristan was smiling happily.

"well, are you guys on a date?" jason said from the doorway. Seeing Tristan having dinner with Mega was quite surprising for him.

"shut your mouth. What the hell are you here for?" tristan asked without distracting his gaze from the plate before him.

"it just so happens that I haven't had dinner yet" without permission Jason sat down next to Mega and immediately picked up a plate of food that caught her eye.

Tristan stared at Jason sharply because Jason was sitting too close to Mega when the sofa was still quite spacious. "do you not shameless, why did you come directly to ask for food. Have you fallen into poverty to the point of not being able to afford your own food?".

"ck, don't be like that. This food is too much. I'm sure you guys can't afford to spend it" Jason replied nonchalantly and continued to devour his food.

"what Jason said is true, sir. This food is very much and we can not spend it, after all dear if it should be thrown away later" Mega is the type of person who really appreciates food. Hard life since childhood makes Mega a person who is grateful for whatever food he eats.

Tristan closes his mouth again, he does not so issue his argument when Mega instead defend Jason.

They continued their dinner in silence. And it's true what Mega is afraid of. When the three of them were already feeling full, there were still some dishes of food that were still intact untouched at all.

"do you feel full?" ask Tristan.

Mega just nodded in response.

"then come on, I'll drive you home" as Tristan will be standing up from his chair, suddenly his phone rings. Tristan saw Hans' name on the screen. He came out of the room to pick up his call.

Only Jason and Mega are in the room. Jason sees Mega as uncomfortable as his end he begins to open up the chat. "how is Jonathan doing? Some days I haven't met her"

"the situation is still the same. He hasn't been able to make peace with her yet".

Jason stared at Mega intently. "Mega, I don't know why I feel like you can put them back together"

"what do you mean?"

"i'm sure you can break that wall of hate. You can bring Jonathan back in harmony with his father"

"me? Why do you think I can do this?" tanya Mega did not understand.

"because Jonathan never cried in front of others. Jonathan didn't let anyone else see his tears. She never even cried in front of me and Tristan even though we had been friends for a long time"

The information that was just heard was enough to surprise Mega. Jonathan not only cried once before him, but twice. Is it true that he can do it. Tearing down the wall of hatred that had been haunting Jonathan, could he really do that?.

Suddenly Tristan reentered the room stopping their conversation. "Mega, I'm sorry I couldn't drive you. I have urgent business".

"it's okay sir, I can go home alone"

"don't worry, I'm here. I can drive you" Jason offered.

"yes, let Jason drive you. I think it's safer" Tristan continued. He hears from Hans that Tessa is currently ill and hospitalized. Therefore Tristan has to look at the state of his sister and make sure that his sister is okay.
