Mathelina

Mathelina
Chapter 31

A bespectacled man hid behind a wall of yellow painted houses. He watched the rented house Elina occupied from a distance.

The investigation turned out to be not in vain, a black car entered the house. The car owner was Matthew. The man got out of the car, took out some grocery bags from the trunk. Then, he knocked on the door; a pregnant woman appeared and let Matthew in. The mysterious man was surprised. The woman was someone her boss had told her to investigate.

This is good info. The man rushes to get his phone out of his pants pocket, looking for Mr. Jonathan's number. The response was quick, only on the fifth ring, Mr. Jonathan had picked it up.

"Boss, there's good news" he said, his smile sly.

The man told her what he had witnessed with his own eyes. He also revealed the address of the house Matthew frequented.

His boss smiled with satisfaction, and also praised his work. A bonus he promised would be sent through his account. With this, the cooperation between the two was completed.

As Matthew predicted, his father sent the stranger. William, rushed straight to Jakarta to do his next job: go to the address of the woman's residence.

Now, he had been in this house, sitting on a single sofa opposite Elina. The old man introduced himself to Elina, who already remembered him from Matthew's family photo. William. G. Jonathan, Matthew's father

"I'm Elina" it was her turn to introduce herself after William. "If you may know, what need did you come here for?"

William smiled. Is this the kind that her son likes? Straight and quiet. "I'd like to offer you a deal."

Elina frowned, lacking understanding. "You mean?"

"How much do you need? a hundred? Two hundred? Uh..." William took out a check from his pocket, wrote a nominal item and put a signature on it. Then, the check was given to Elina. "Eight hundred million. Thought enough? Ten times the price of your body you sold to that pimp."

This time her courtesy to the man was gone. Elina glanced in anger. Whatisthis? The old man harassed her?

"I'm sorry, I can't accept this" said Elina returning her check to William's desk.

Greedy woman. All right, it doesn't matter what he asks. "less? Tell me how much you asked...."

"What do you mean?" sela Elina growled.

"This is an agreement; you accept the money, on condition," William moved his body forward and said in a haughty tone, "you're out of Matthew's life."

Elina swerves. Leaving Matthew?

"Matthew is my heir, and you don't deserve to marry him at all. Your status is different, and that kid, I won't be a part of this family." William sat on the back of the sofa.

Elina could not say anything. Yeah, it's true, he's not worth Matthew, this is what he's been thinking about for a long time. But this heart ... Why is it so painful? Why would he not willingly accept William's request, even though it has been offered so much money?

He lowered his head, his hands trembling with difficulty holding back his tears to come out. The wound in the heart grew sore and gaping, especially when William added that Matthew would be betrothed to a woman of the same status as him.

William moved from his seat. "You think about my offer first. I hope you didn't make the wrong decision."

The man passed. And as the door closed, Elina's cries broke. He held onto his stomach, where the baby in his womb kicked his stomach. He knew his son felt the same way, but what should he do?

He did not want to part with the man. He wanted to tell her later that he loved her, that he was willing to hold her hand, to swear solemnly before the Lord, and to raise the fruit of their love together. To embrace happiness until death do us part.

But what power, the great wall was in their midst, which could neither be climbed nor destroyed.

"Matthew, I love you. Tell me, what should I do?" his sobs.

-;-;-;-

Matthew looked at the woman's hand. Karenina Adams is the daughter of the UK's largest electronics entrepreneur. He heard that his company in the UK is trying to work with the company. But everyone knows that a cooperation will work well and trust each other if there is a bond. Weddings.

He grunts. This must be his father's trick. He shook her hand, let alone marry her. Forgetit! It was only in your dreams, Mr. William!

"I still have an appointment. So sorry, excuse me," she said flat and cold, then turned around.

"Can't we just talk for a minute?" exclaimed Karenina, hurriedly rising from her seat.

Matthew looked a little. "If what I want to talk about is matchmaking, I don't want to talk about it. Tell my father and your parents: there will be no marriage between us. I love others."

Firm and clear. Matthew thought it was enough as a form of rejection that did not need to be asked again the reason. He leaves the place, not caring about the broken heart of Karenina who has been interested in him since seeing him in various business magazines in the UK. The good looks and intelligence she possesses, is the attraction that makes her fall in love with him.

-;-;-;-

Thats enough. The man he referred to as the father, could not manage his life anymore. When the car was driven out of the hotel, he immediately contacted his father. He knew that the man was in Jakarta. So he will meet him and talk about it now.

William is at home. As he entered the living room, the man was enjoying the tea served by the Goddess. The two turned their heads, and the Goddess immediately greeted, in contrast to the indifferent-looking William while sipping his tea.

"What does this mean?" Matthew already knew, William must have understood the direction of this conversation.

The goddess looked at the two men she loved in turn. Confused, wondering: what is this? Why did Matthew yell at his father?

Matthew snorting. How did that guy know about Elina? He glanced at his mother - could the Goddess have told him? Shit, he almost forgot! Of course, it was his eyes that informed him.

"You're trying to match me up with Karenina, right?" hardik Matthew's.

"You are a smart kid. You know, right, our company and the company are working together?"

"I don't care!" sahut Matthew furious. "I refuse that match!"

The matchmaking? The goddess disagreed. He also raised his voice. "Yes, William. You can't match her with another woman. Matthew loved a woman who was carrying his child.

No need to dictate, William already knows and does not care. "But they're not married, are they?"

"Married or not, I still won't accept that match!" Matthew insists, and then leaves.

But it's not that easy. William will make Matthew change his mind and obey. "Wait, Matthew!"

Matthew stopped, but did not turn around. I don't know what the old man wants to say again.

"Well, if you choose that woman. But, you can't set foot in this house again!" threatening William.

Matthew glared, while Goddess was surprised instead of playing.

"What's this, William? You can't kick him out of my house!" screams of the Goddess protesting.

William just glanced, not piqued. "He was also not entitled to all the inheritance, and his name was also crossed off the family list."

"WILLIAM!" goddess's screams accompanied by cries.

Matthew closed his eyes, poignant. So cruel his father threatened him like that. As soon as his intention he destroyed the life of his only son.

Troubled and aided by a cane, William moved out of his chair. His hand was raised towards Matthew, like someone was asking. "Return all the facilities I've provided from my company's proceeds."

Seriously? Alright. After all, Matthew didn't need anything from his papa. He held the car keys in front of William, who was then placed on the table. The golden watch that was attached to his wrist, he also let go. Then the wallet, joined by the two, along with his cell phone, which was the last thing William had to hand over. Only clothes remain on the body.

Matthew left the house with nothing. However, he still has Elina whom he loves, whom he will not let go. All of those things were meaningless, compared to his little family that he would soon form together with the woman.

Now, his goal is the rented house he rented for Elina. Although he had to walk, he would go as far as it was. No matter the rain that falls on his body.

Night is coming to pick up. The earth is still dampened by the rain that never subsides, and the lightning that is mutually unpretentious. Elina sat on the edge of the window by the door while staring outwards. Lonely and cold. He stroked his stomach, feeling his baby kicking, along with the sound of a lightning bang.

"You're scared, aren't you?" elina said softly, rubbing her stomach gently. "That's lightning, it won't strike as long as we're inside the house. Relax, there's Mama here who's always with you."

The baby calmed down again, and Elina stopped petting. His gaze returned to the outside, holding his chin by the hand. A flash of shadow flashed by, where every memory was beautiful, funny, and thrilling along with Matthew.

"Mama is also afraid, dear," he murmured softly. "Mama is afraid of losing her love. Mama doesn't want to be separated by your father."

Suddenly his eyes were hot. Tears welled up in her eyes, then flowed slowly to her cheeks. Wiped those tears.

Dew covered the window, so the view outside became blurred. His index finger was pointed at the windowpanes, moved to form the name of a man who had been imprinted in his heart. Matthews.

At the crack of the letter "M" he wrote, a man was standing in front of the fence. He jumped up, spontaneously standing up from his chair. Then, remove all the dew attached to the window glass, in order to see the figure clearly.

After it was clear who the figure was, Elina rushed to grab an umbrella, opened the door and approached someone who was also approaching her through the fence.

Matthew came in with a soaked body and shivering in the cold. Elina paddled him, as she came before him. Elina's face looked anxious, but no words came out of her mouth in a few seconds. Satisfying himself in longing, and eliminating the turmoil he felt all day.

Matthew's gaze scolded. He reached into his pocket, then took out a white gold ring, which was pointed at Elina.

"Elina, I wouldn't call you, even if I knew you rejected it" she said later. "Elina, marry me."

Elina looked at him dumbfounded. The ring glanced at him as he weighed, then turned his eyes back to that handsome face. In his eyes there was doubt because of the problems that occurred today.

Matthew waited in dismay. But now, seeing Elina downcast, her disappointment surfaced. Slowly, the hand holding the ring drooped and fell. Lost his hope. Perhaps, the dream of building a happy little family together with Elina is delayed, or even destroyed.

Elina glanced and looked up. The umbrella he held was put away a little. He tiptoed, then brought his face closer to Matthew. Without the man guessing and unavoidable, Elina kissed her lips.

Because her body was short, and her legs could not stand on her tiptoes for too long, Elina was forced to take off her kiss. But Matthew didn't want that to happen. Matthew grabbed his waist and grabbed it, then changed the lips that he had wanted to crave.[]
