Marrying My Brother's Fiancee

Marrying My Brother's Fiancee
EPISODE 137 DON'T CRY ANYMORE

Lord, take away all the pain of my father, lift up all these diseases, if you will. Suffer his suffering, Lord...But all your plans are the best."

Sarah's father's eyes were closed, her body still motionless, but two clear feathers fell from the corner of her eye. Just melt away.

"Dad..." Sarah felt her father's fingers, moving slowly within her grasp.

"Dad responded to me..." Sara raised her face at Raka who was beside her.

But I don't know why his father's warm hands are getting colder.

Suddenly the movement of the waves on the monitor looks fast and and shows abnormal activity. The nurse appears on standby near the monitor while Doctor Pram approaches the patient.

But, some time later, the line on the monitor became weak and soon became a straight line with a sound that made Sarah immediately cry hysterically, he realized his father had really left and would never come back.

God has uprooted all sickness, even all suffering of his father. No more pain, no more pain, no more tears. His father had returned to the arms of the Lord who breathed on him. He has now met the woman he has loved all his life.

...***...

It was late afternoon, Sarah was still sitting in front of her father's navel, she was no longer crying but her eyes could not be separated from the navel whose land was still shaking red and studded with flowers.

The people and families who took her to her final resting place have been home since half an hour ago.

"Darling..." Mama Raka patted her daughter-in-law's shoulder gently.

"He is at ease now, please let your father return to the harbours of the owners of all life, the best of all this sorrow that your father never again feels pain." Mama said softly.

Sarah turned to her mother and forced her lips to smile.

"Yes, ma. I don't feel pain anymore." His mouth while nodding his head.

"Papa and Mama go home first, Rae's alone with the sisters." Mama stood up and left, still letting her daughter-in-law stay there in front of her father's belly button.

Raka approached and took a spot beside Sarah.

"Darling, we better get home..." Raka said slowly.

"Awhile more. I still want to drive you one last time." Sarah says.

"Take care of his departure, then the way of father will be more spacious."

"I've been sincere, it's just madih feels heavy."

"Maybe not many people understand what you're feeling, but I understand how much you've been hit. Perhaps not many can understand the severity of a breakup, especially a breakup like this. But, do'a is what you need now to drive her, not tears"

Sarah turned to Raka, looking at the man who had always been loyal to her in joy and sorrow. He lowered his head at Raka while trying to smile despite looking very bitter.

"Papa didn't even come to deliver father, he was the father's only brother." Somehow, Sarah felt sad that her adoptive father never showed up again after they drove her father to the ICU that night, when his father collapsed while resting at his own brother's feet.

"I tried to tell your father's departure, but there was no response. He might need some time after hearing father's confession."

"But it doesn't have to be that long, even when you're sick you never see him."

"Honey, everyone has a different heart thickness in addressing each problem. There are those who in an instant can receive but many also need days, weeks or even years just to be able to digest the harsh reality that befalls him."

Raka took his wife's hand.

"Dad must have understood why your father was so shocked to receive it."

Sarah turned her gaze over her father's belly button.

"Did you not forgive me?" he asked sadly, as if aimed at himself.

Raka fell silent, she did not know what to answer, because she was not the one who had the right to answer that question.

"I've forgiven him." A heavy and flat voice sounded from behind the two of them.

"Lad..." Sarah stands, followed by Raka. The faces of two young couples husband and wife looked surprised by the presence of adoptive father Sarah.

"Don't worry, son.I've forgiven your father, I've forgiven my sister, no matter what she's done. I have forgiven him." The body stood stiff with a sad, tired look that was so tangled.

"I'm sorry papa, son.let you face it all yourself." The old man said, trembling. His eyes looked sunken as if telling me that he might rarely sleep well lately.

Sarah slammed into her papa's arms, a cry she had held since her father was lowered into the burrow that immediately exploded.

"Papa.ayah apologizes to papa.he really wants papa to forgive him" he said between his cries. As a child, he desperately wanted his father's journey not to be intertwined with resentment and heartache.

"I know, son.I know. And he knows better, that I've never really been mad at him. She's calm now.don't cry anymore."

Nothing could really ease Sarah's tears after the grief she'd been experiencing for days, but the words coming out of her adoptive father's mouth were like a hypnotist stopping her tears.

"Let papa pray for a while for this naughty little brother of papa, he is now waiting for his evil and inattentive brother to say goodbye to him."

Papa lifted Sarah let go of her embrace, then slowly walked and rested in front of her sister's navel.

He looked down unmoved, only his tears came out from the corner of his eyes that were closed.

Raka hugged Sarah, the taste of blue was mixed as they watched how a brother was so solemnly praying to his sister who had died.

Ten minutes later he stood up, even so shabbily.

Only the three of them were now in the cemetery, the atmosphere of silence for a moment only the afternoon breeze was blowing lightly, as if to breathe tranquility for those who lie at peace in their last long rest.

"Sadly..." Suddenly the lips of his Papa said a silent break, his eyes as if radiating so tired this afternoon.

"I'm sorry you never came when your father was in a coma. Papa thinks your father can hold out any minute until I get to Canada."

"Canada? Papa's going to Canada?"

"Your father had emailed me, asking me to meet with his lawyer there, which was scheduled for the day three days ago."

"Why did you ask Papa to go there?"

"His last request, your father wants you to make an endowment of his assets in Canada in your name. And papa as a witness who took care and replaced him to legalize the document because he could not return to Canada again. And papa did. Brought your father's last will to his lawyer."

Sarah was astonished to hear how she felt guilty about accusing her father, ignoring him and her dying father. Sin feels excruciating to us when we know, we have been bad to people who turned out to have done nothing wrong to us, as we suppose.

"Lad..." Sarah was stunned to look at the old man, who was always trying to love her in her helplessness.

"Papa has filed for divorce with your mother..."

The last sentence not only made Sarah so surprised, even Raka was amazed to hear it.
