Chapter 24. Forgive

With Nadya, Reno wants to start a good relationship. Wishing to live this second home with happiness, filled with love and genuine affection.

Once enough Reno made a mistake, she used to be blinded by Marisa's love which turned out to be fake. She even fought against Dina's blessing, who at that time refused her marriage and Marisa.

Now Reno and Marisa are done, Nadya and Anjas are done. It's time Reno opened a new chapter with his second wife, who is now his only wife. Although their marriage began with coercion, even the insults Reno once hurled at the woman who now made him fall in love.

"Sorry" Reno said as soon as they were in the car.

"Sorry for what?" nadya asked not to understand.

"As promised we went on a date this afternoon, but the promise can't be kept."

"Mas Reno doesn't promise anything to Dya. If Mas Reno can't, it's nothing." replied Nadya.

"Mas Reno has a job?" ask Nadya.

"Nothing, but Mas was asked to take you home to Bagaskara's residence."

"Bagaskara's Residence?" nadya Reno's.

"Hem."

Arriving at Bagaskara residence, Nadya greeted Dina. Nadya's mother-in-law was already waiting for them, as soon as Reno told them on the way.

"What's the matter Ma?" ask Reno.

Dina contacted Reno while Nadya's husband was waiting for his wife to talk to Anjas. The middle-aged woman asked her only son to bring her new son-in-law home to Bagaskara's residence.

"Ma, I promised to take Nadya somewhere this afternoon" Reno replied, refusing Dina's request.

"Mama doesn't want to know, anyway Mama's daughter-in-law is now delivered to Bagaskara's residence."

Dina's request inevitably had to follow Reno, it was enough yesterday-yesterday he disappointed his mother.

"Later to know, come on in." replied Dina.

Marisa is led by Dina to enter, releasing Reno's hand that has been holding her hand since.

One-on-one Nadya complains of her family in the family room. There is Rosa who is smiling at him, There is Azam who is busy with food in his hands and Nadya is surprised by the presence of Surya who is now walking towards him.

"Dad." call Nadya slow.

"I'm sorry, Dad. I really do not know what they have done to you, Azam and your grandmother. Forgive me, Father."

Nadya just nodded. Reno has told all of Marisa and Wulan's deeds to her, Azam and Rosa.

Flashbacks

Nadya and Reno are ready to go. Arriving at the front door, the two halted their steps. Nadya and Reno see Wulan's car enter the Reno residence, while Marisa has just put her suitcase into the car.

Reno pulls Nadya back in, but their steps are stopped when they hear Marisa ask Wulan.

"Mama what the fuck is this? Why are you carrying a suitcase?"

Nadya and Reno both turned around to see what Marisa meant.

"Your father kicked Mama out, so Mama will stay with you in this residence."

Reno and Nadya look at each other, and Reno squeezes Nadya's hand to say all is well, there is Reno who will take care of Nadya. Wulan and Marisa talk about Surya, and it hurts Nadya.

"Don't tell me Mama got kicked out because papa divorced Mama" said Marisa.

"Papa divorced Mama."

Nadya and Reno looked at each other. Nadya does not know this is good or bad news, Nadya wishes her father well. No matter how much hate and regret Nadya in the middle-aged man, but in the bottom of his heart Nadya very fond of his father. Surya is his first love, the man who taught him many things since he was a child. Unfortunately Surya is also the first man to make Nadya disappointed.

"Why you?" asked Wulan who saw Marisa sitting on the floor.

"Reno also divorced me."

Wulan saw the figures of Reno and Nadya standing behind the entrance. The woman walked closer to the two. It was not Reno who was the target of Wulan's anger, but Nadya. For Wulan Nadya is the incarnation of Widya who snatched Surya from her, which is why Wulan's hatred for Nadya never extinguished even though she had hurt her stepson all this time.

"You.." show Wulan to Nadya.

"It must have been you who instigated Reno to divorce Marisa."

"Let your hands down from my wife's presence" Reno said, throwing Wulan's hand.

"Reno, I am your mother-in-law. Don't be so insolent." snapped Wulan to Reno.

If not a woman, Reno might have already unleashed a harsh blow on Wulan. It was fortunate that Reno could still think sanely, plus a touch of Nadya's hand that calmed her down.

"Ask Marisa what she did wrong until I divorced her" Reno said.

Reno pulls Nadya into her car. Soon Reno takes Nadya away from Wulan and Marisa, two women who have no conscience.

Reno pulls out her vehicle, takes a deep breath and tells Nadya everything that Marisa and Wulan have done to her all along. From Reno's explanation, Nadya knows if Rosa's hospital fee is Surya's money not money from Marisa or Reno.

Flash back off

"Thank you son." said Surya then hugged Nadya tightly.

The tears of the two broke, Nadya who was most injured when she knew Surya married again and chose to leave them without explanation.

Reno rubbed Nadya's back to appease his wife who occasionally still sobbed. Although forgiving the sun, but there are still gaping wounds. The unnatural death of his mother is still a question mark of Nadya to this day.

"Honey." call Reno make Nadya look at her husband who has not left her for a while.

Nadya went into Reno's arms, with Reno stroking her head and peeling her head.

"Don't be sad anymore, we should celebrate your father's return to our family" whispered Reno, who Nadya is a nun.

With his finger, Reno rubbed the remains of tears on his wife's cheek. Reno kissed Nadya's eyes alternately, eyes that are now a little swollen.

"I promise to replace your tears with happiness" Reno promised in her heart.

Dina feels grateful to be reunited with Rosa and her family, she wants to celebrate tonight by inviting everyone there to have dinner together.

"It seems like a lot that I missed" said Haris papa Reno who had just joined.

"A lot" replied Dina as she walked over to her husband.

"Sorry the plane was delayed, so it was too late to go home" said Haris, who kissed Dina's forehead after his wife kissed the back of his hand.

Haris walked up to Surya, "How are you, we haven't seen each other for a long time" Haris told Surya.

"Yes, it's been a long time." replied Surya.

"Mom." Haris salim on a woman he knows very well.

Rosa Haris finally meets Dina and they fall in love. Of course Haris will not forget the events of thirty years ago.

"Where is Papa's new son-in-law?" asked Haris because he did not see the figure of Nadya who was helping mbok Asih prepare dinner.

"Papa's daughter-in-law is diligent, look there." point Dina at Nadya who stands at the dinner table.

Reno's wife was unaware of her father-in-law's return. While Reno did not know where it went after saying goodbye to the bathroom.

"Widya" said Haris in disbelief.

"Nadya is very similar to Widya. Mama was also like a dream to see Widya as if she had come back to life" said Dina, who saw the shock of her husband.
