Mala Dewa Love Story's
20: The Patience of the Gods

Do you know why I can't be away from you? That's because being far away scares me. Afraid that you will turn away. Afraid, if you find him the other. Which makes you more comfortable than me. ~Nirmala

Do you know what I spilled the most? I sprained the clockwise, why so long move. I want time to go around so I can see you soon. But, when I'm next to you, time feels really fast. Though I want time to stop, so that I can linger with you. ~Nirmala

The god took a long breath. It dawned on him that he and Mala could not part no matter what. Sometimes God thinks short. He just didn't want to make Mala suffer. But it turns out Mala was much more suffering when the two separated.

At the moment he was feeling somewhat relieved. Mala realized her mistake, forgot about her eating and her health. It was the cause of Mala being sick as she is now. At least the words of the Gods have benefits as well. Mala is starting to think more about her own health now. Because if Mala gets sick again like that, of course God will be very sad and disappointed.

Max knitted his eyebrows when he saw his son who had just arrived home. "Wa. You're already home. How's Mala doing?" tanyakanya.

The god rubbed his face slowly. "Sudah mengingan, Dad.  That's all, Mala can't go home yet. He still has to undergo treatment in the hospital."

"Thank God, soon Mala will be as healthy as ever. So, you should come back to Indonesia tomorrow or what? Daddy also could not bear that Mala was still sick. But, if Daddy's in Korea any longer, Daddy feels sorry for your Mami, Wa."

The gods thought for a moment. Mala must be very sad if she comes home tomorrow. Actually going home alone God is not a problem. Just does she have to stay at her brother's house alone?

"Hm, if the gods here used to be okay, wouldn't Dad? Daddy and Sister Natasha go back to Indonesia first. I'll go home alone, " said the god.

Max nodded his head. "Can. But you're okay living in Natasha's own house?"

The two are standing right on the terrace of Natasha's house. Not long after that Mala's father suddenly appeared.

"God. You live in Om's house."

Max is shocked to see Mala's father coming.

"Mahen? Jesus, how are you?" Sapa Max hugged Mala's father.

"Good, Max. It's just that you know, Mala is sick again," replied Lesmana Mahendra.

"Yes, I plan to see Mala tomorrow before leaving for the airport with Natasha. How's Mala doing now?"

God just quietly let Mala's father explain to Max.

"Stress point. I don't think he can be far from the gods. I don't think this is how Mala grows up. He's even tormented, he's very fond of gods."

Gods jerked. But, he did not dare to answer, it was impolite he thought. Moreover, the words of Mala's father are true.

Max invited Lesmana to sit down to make it more comfortable to chat. The gods also sat there.

"Try to explain again what you mean, Mahen?" asked Maxime who was still unclear with the words of Lesmana Mahendra earlier.

"Look, Max. I don't think Mala and the Gods can be separated. Shunned. You can see for yourself that Mala is very weak. As a father, I feel sad. I don't want Mala to be sick, I don't want Mala to hold back her true feelings."

The gods still don't understand. Then if so, what exactly does Mala's father want now?

"Then, what do you want? I just don't want them to meet too often and then something unwanted will happen. Mala is too young anyway, I hope Mala can focus on her future." Maxime.

Mahen was silent for a moment. Then he raised his face, staring towards the God.

"Mala says God is her future, Max."

"What do you mean?" ask Max.

"Yes, Mala says her future is God. There was nothing he wanted more for his future than to be with the Gods."

The atmosphere was silent at once.

Maxime massaged his forehead. If God's age is the same as he was when he married Nayra maybe he doesn't mind if God proposed to Mala. But the current age of Gods was only twenty-three years old. If the two are married, it is a sign that they are married at a young age.

"How do you think? You have a solution, other than getting them both married. God I don't think is too mature yet."

Max's words are like a slap to God. So all this time her daddy was of the opinion that she was immature?

"Dad. God is mature enough." The gods finally commented.

"I think God is mature enough. The two can take care of each other. We as parents can help keep an eye on them, Max."

Of course for Max it's like a joke.

"But it's a wedding. We as parents can't interfere much. How are we watching them, Mahen? They should at least be independent. It could be said to be an ideal home. Later the household will experience many trials. Not only sweet, you also have to understand that, Wa."

Maxime said so because he had already experienced the bitter tingling of life. Max has been married twice. His first wife, Maria, died giving birth to Natasha.

Not to mention Maxime's pretty dark past life. This made Max learn a lot. While Gods? He is still very young, according to Max.

"So you don't agree that they're married?"

Max shook his head. "Not anytime soon. At least when God turns 25 years old. Mala was 20 years old. I think it's better than it is now, Mahen."

The god understood his daddy's thinking.

"You're all right, Wa?"

"All right, it all depends on the gods." Mahendra finally can only obey Max's advice.

"God will be patient. God believes Mala can also pass the period of maturation himself. So too with God." This time the God had to follow his parents' advice. It is true, marriage needs readiness, not just capitalized love.

God wanted to be someone useful to his parents first. After that he also had to be able to take responsibility for Mala later. Therefore God must try harder, in order to be able to ask Mala to be his wife later.

Mala's father smiled as he patted God on the shoulder. "Om proud of you Wa. But, Om hope you don't mind for a while staying at Om's house. As if Mala is healing, you want to?"

Where might the Gods object. But the question is, did Max give him permission?

"Dad?"

Max nodded. "You can take care of Mala, Wa."

The gods breathe freely. Eventually, he was able to keep Mala until Mala recovered.

"Thank you, Daddy."

"Good, Om. The gods will take care of Mala until she is healed" said the god, steady.
