Mafia And Me

Mafia And Me
ANYER'S IDEA

“Yes, God,” he said with a smile.

“Thank you very much God, you listened to my prayer,” he said back.

The man got up and sat down on the edge of the hospital bed tightly clasping Alea's hand.

At least he exclaimed in relief when he saw Alea's chest wobble that rose along with drawing oxygen and also the sound of exhaling.

The handsome man was unceasingly grateful, now Alea was a human.

“Alea... did you listen to me?” tanyakanya.

Alea gave a soft nod with a weak gesture, no need to question where he was now after he woke up from this exhausting sleep, encountering the darkness that surrounded him.

He felt like he was in between eternity. Her memory was so vividly recorded how the pain spread from her throat to her stomach.

The burning heat all over her body seemed to make Alea at that moment think short.

He would catch up with both of his parents in heaven even though he did not know how his two parents looked.

Only one at that time he thought, he would meet his late adoptive mother who had helped him from death and also loved him like his own daughter.

And now, Alea was very lucky to be able to breathe and see the world again.

“Alea...”.

The man pressed the red button for the nurse to come into his room.

He wanted the doctor to immediately examine Alea who was just silent.

Worry and worry until guilt becomes one. Since that incident the man who was none other than Leo was very sorry for making Alea like this.

Leo admits to his insolence and almost sends his innocent life to another realm in order to want a little hope for his brother.

“You're fine right, Alea?” ask Leo.

Alea gave a slow nod. “Wait here, I'll call the doctor,” Leo said as he left, since he pressed the red button, the nurse or the doctor did not respond.

She forced her way out of Alea's room to call the doctor to check on Alea.

Alea's two eyes still faithfully closed even though she listened to Leo's voice.

Alea's memory was still in the small party. Evans' jumping shadow accompanied by a terrified expression at that moment made Alea's heart beat very fast.

He felt something was wrong with Evans. Leo stood beside the doctor who examined Alea and the poor woman opened her eyes even though her gaze was blank.

“I'm so grateful you're back, Alea.

“I'm grateful you woke up after the doctor said something I didn't want to hear,” Leo said when the doctor finished checking and left the room.

The woman's lentic eyelashes crept slowly.

“I will feel sinful and sorry if you do not wake up,” Leo said again.

The pale-faced poor woman smiled faintly, Leo again tightened his grip on one hand Alea was not attached to the infusion hose.

“How are you doing now? Does anyone hurt?” ask Leo and again.

He was very worried about the woman in front of him who was just silent.

Since then she had asked everywhere, but Alea was still silent and responded with a smile as well as a nod.

“Alea you're okay right?”

I don't know how many times the man asked, to be honest the man was very worried about Alea.

“I'm fine, Leo,” Alea said sounding weak.

Leo exclaimed in relief and smiled happily.

“I'm sorry, Alea..”.

“For what?”

“For everything, because of me you became like this.”

Alea laughed weakly at the handsome man who did look very worried about her.

“Leo..”

Leo lifted his pant to a closer seat beside Alea.

 “Yes, Alea.”

“I'm fine,” Alea said weakly and again reassured the man that he was fine.

Leo had heard that, even though Alea said she was fine. His heart was never calm.

“I'm glad you responded and said fine to me, Alea. Even if my heart is not calm.

“Do you know how much we are all worried about your existence not waking up?”

“We?” aela asked in a confused pain.

“Ya, We. My family, especially my mother, was worried when she heard that you vomited blood and was rushed to the hospital?”

“He was very worried about you until these few days not stopping to go to the hospital,” Leo continued.

Alea smiled weakly. “Please let me know that I am doing well with Mrs Jovita.

“Don't worry about me because I'm feeling better,” pinta Alea.

“I'll definitely tell it to, Mommy. Do you need anything, Alea?” ask Leo.

Alea did not immediately reply, but she instead looked at Leo.

Leo's sincere kindness reminded Alea of the man she now misses.

Alea misses her foster sister, Leo's handsome face and her sincere kindness make her miss Jeon Park.

“Hai, why even daydream, hmm?”

Alea gave a faint smile. “If not flatness. Can I have a glass of water? I'm thirsty,” pinta Alea.

“Oh gosh, I don't mind at all, Alea. Wait, I'll get you some drinking water.”

Leo had first helped Alea to get up and sit leaning on the headboard, having immediately sat Alea holding onto her throbbing head of pain.

“You all right?” He gave the glass to Alea.

“No. I'm just a little dizzy.”

“Jeez, are you really okay? I'll call the doctor again and ask for a ct scan of your head?”

Alea let out a long sigh then exhaled slowly as the glass of water was gone.

“You need not overdo it. I'm fine just a little dizzy.

“Maybe it's the effect of me falling asleep and being unconscious. Oh yeah, by the way how long have I been here?”

Leo sat down on the edge of the hospital bed. “Pretty long. One week more.”

“Oh gosh, that was a long time ago. How can I pay the hospital bills during that time?”

“Why are you thinking there, Alea?” sela Leo was quick as she touched Alea's forehead lightly.

It could be that people are still panicking with the situation, this woman is even thinking about hospital costs.

“I'm not in salary to be your brother's personal servant, of course I am confused to pay him how.”

“No need to think about it, Alea. What you think now you must be healthy again, that is my hope now.”

Alea let out a slow breath while rubbing her forehead.

“Why can I be unconscious for so long, Leo?” alea asked looking puzzledly at the man in front of her.

“Those drinks I drink are not wine. I still remember it was just orange juice.”

Leo kept quiet as he took the glass Alea was holding.

“Is the drink poison until I cough up blood?”

The man gave a slow nod.

“Hm.”

For a moment, Leo breathed a lot.

“The drink you drink is mixed with poison.”

He felt guilty and dared not look at Alea.

Leo turned his head to the side and looked at the glass window and many times the man took another breath.

“Only small dose poison, but have quite serious effect, Al.

“You were rushed to IGD and had to undergo several checks.”

The memory of everyone panicking that afternoon made Leo's guilt re-stretch.

Alea just kept quiet as she tightened Leo's hand. Alea knew Leo looked so sorry.

“Doctors several times say your condition is not possible to live.

“Even your three-day condition keeps getting worse, Al. But—”

Leo turned his gaze back to look at Alea.

“I'm so grateful you're back at us. I'm sorry, Al. I can't take care of you,” said Leo, sincerely.

“What is part of—”

Leo raised his gaze and looked back at Alea with a sharp look.

“What do you mean part of my plan to see how hope exists?”

“Looking at Evans' attention, what is that you think, Al?”

Alea was silent, ah—mulutnya always be quick to say when just terbesit this incident is as a game Leo. But…

“Even the man does not look sorry you are dying and dying is not just that,

“even the man has accused me of the incident you disappeared and this incident he still blames me if this incident is my next game,” grumbled Leo quietly, the man revealed what was on his mind as well as in his heart over all of Evans' allegations.

“I've never played around with people's lives, Alea. It's just, I—”

“Followers!”

“And you were so stupid not to tighten the surveillance on all the invited guests and also the surrounding.

“I'm sure there are people who take advantage of this,” interrupted someone into the room care Alea.

“Massimo...”

The brown-eyed man walked over to Alea and sat on the right side of the bed. He rubbed Alea's head and gave a kiss of affection like a brother to his sister at the top of his head.

“I'm glad you're back, Alea. I panicked to see the incident that afternoon.”

“What is one of Evans' enemies for revenge?” Leo asked his brother who was sitting on the right side of Alea's bed.

Massimo snorted softly as he turned his head and closed his eyes.

“If you want to have that party, you should be aware of the impact.”

“Evans has a lot of enemies and maybe it's one of them.

“ What I can guess from this incident, there was someone who tried the same thing as that time at your engagement party.”

Massimo tried to recall the events of that night and likened them to the events of that afternoon.

“I saw there were some waiters who approached Alea and offered drinks...”.

Alea recalled being at Leo's lavish party.

“And at the time at the little party was the same. I saw the man looking for a chance.

“I've seen how the waiter's expression looks upset when his first attempt failed because I took a glass of wine.

“Maybe my guess is this same person who has been eyeing Alea as if from this incident as a warning signal to Evans Colliettie.”

Leo scowled his temple with a frown.

“Means?”
