"So, the ritual should not be witnessed by children?" asked Luna after she finished hearing Valko's story.
"Yes, and I'm the one who's this wayward breaking it." Valko smiled wryly as he rubbed his nape.
"Then never see me again!"
"What?" Valko looked up at Luna's words.
There is a sense of disappointment that is now entrenched in the heart of the handsome man. Valko bowed listlessly. He rubbed a rough face then looked sadly at Luna.
"Sorry, it's been bothering you all this time. Maybe a creature like me doesn't deserve to have friends." Valko turned back, then walked gontai towards the window of the room.
"Wait!" prevent Luna.
Valko immediately stopped the move. He turned his body again, so now his gaze met with Luna. The girl immediately stepped closer to Valko.
"Never see me again when the moon is full, you look so fierce and creepy! Oh, my God, my heart wouldn't be healthy for a long time if it happened!" Luna rubbed her chest while shaking her head.
"So, let's meet other than on the night of the full moon." Luna reached out with a big smile.
Valko glanced at Luna's fingers. Slowly he welcomed the girl's hand and they shook hands. After letting go of the hand, Luna looked a little sad.
"Why?" asked Valko while frowning.
"Tomorrow I must return to the city. Maybe we'll see each other again." Luna looked down at the wooden floor below.
The beautiful girl played the toe wrapped in socks on the floor. He folded his arms behind his body and his head did not stop moving along with the legs that could not stand still.
"You coming with me? We're hunting for the last time this season!" bring Valko.
Without waiting for approval from Luna, the man pulled her arm and asked the girl to go down first. This time Luna did not bring a sketchbook. He wanted to focus on spending his last night with Valko.
Along the way, Luna told me a lot about herself. Valko also tells the story of his childhood. Comfort begins to build in the hearts of two different people of that type.
"Regarding the curse .. is there no way to break it?" ask Luna curiously.
"Said Grandma Berta, the curse can only be broken if you have found the girl droplet Goddess Artemis."
Artemis was the daughter of Zeus and Leto. She is believed to be the goddess of the hunter, the wild, chastity, and the Moon. According to the belief of the Canis tribe, the existence of the drops of Goddess Artemis was able to ward off the curse.
"Then how?"
"I don't know either. Berta's grandmother simply said that I could become a complete human being with the help of the girl."
"Where can we meet him? Let's go over there!" luna exclaimed with excitement.
Valko halted his steps, then flicked Luna's forehead. Suddenly the girl pursed her lips and rubbed the former flick of Valko. The handsome man also chuckled at Luna who continued to put on an annoyed face.
"I don't know where he is either." Valko raised his shoulders while smiling sideways.
"Oh, I hope to see him soon! So that you can become a whole human being!" luna exclaimed as she clenched her hands in front of her chest.
The two continue their journey. Tonight they did not meet any animals. So, Valko decided to take Luna home.
Suddenly, Luna felt like she was stung by something. He nodded, and looked at his feet. How surprised Luna was to find out that a snake had just moved away from her.
"U-snake!" cry Luna.
Valko also looked at Luna who was pointing at something. Valko was wide-eyed when he found out that the snake Luna meant was a coral snake. The snake has a bright color of scales with a blend of red, black, and yellow.
"Are you bitten?" ask Valko to panic.
"It looks like it is!" Luna grimaced with pain.
Valko looked down and checked Luna's legs. Sure enough, blood began to flow soaking through the girl's socks. The coral snake not only bites its prey, but it also chews on the skin of the prey to spurt out more and more venom.
After running for thirty minutes, Valko finally arrived at the Canis housing complex. He knocked on his door. My father also came out of the house.
"What's up, Valko?" alarick asked puzzled to see the boy bringing home the girl who was half conscious.
"Please him, Dad. He was bitten by a coral snake!"
"God! How could? Quickly laid him down. Tie the bitten upper part of his body! I'm going to meet Berta for help!" Alarick immediately ran towards Berta's house.
Valko immediately went into the house and laid Luna with a head position higher than the feet. Valko washed the bite marks with soapy water, rinsed them and dried them with a towel.
Shortly afterwards, Berta came with a box containing several medicinal herbs. He immediately wrapped the bite scars with a clean cloth. After that, Berta concocted some herbs that the Canis tribe used to anti-can.
"Give this to the girl!" bertha's orders to Valko.
"Good, Grandma."
Valko immediately feed the concentrated liquid to Luna using a spoon. Slowly the girl swallowed the potion Valko gave her. Drowsiness now began to approach Luna. He also fell asleep.
"Lun, Luna! Wake up!" valko shouted while shaking the body of the beautiful girl.
"Calm down, Valko. Its alright. He'll be fine. Please keep an eye on her vital condition for the next few hours. If this girl has a seizure, call me immediately." Berta leaves Alarick's house.
Alarick drove the old woman home, and went back to see the son. He just found Valko looking panicked. Previously Valko had never behaved this way even though his own sister was injured.
"Who is he?" alarick asked with a fixed look at Luna.
"The friend I just met a while ago, Dad."
"Alright, get him home immediately if he wakes up later." Alarick came out of the son's room.
After the departure of the father, Valko looked at the nanar Luna who closed her eyes tightly. Guilt lingered in the handsome man's heart. He regretted taking Luna out tonight.
"Sorry, for bringing you into danger."
Valko clasped Luna's fingers then kissed the back of her hand. The affection for the girl was getting stronger. He always wanted to protect his beloved girl. Valko fell asleep beside Luna, tired of struggling with her own heart.
...****************...
Sunlight began to break through the window of Valko's room through the curtains that closed it. The sound of a bird's whistle is earthy so as to create a soothing melody. Luna slowly opened her eyes and blinked adjusting the light entering her net.
"Valko?" luna said softly when she found the handsome man asleep on the edge of the bed with the position of his stomach.
Hearing his name being called, Valko slowly opened his eyes. His fingers were still clasping tightly onto Luna's hand. The handsome man looked at Luna and got up from the chair.
"Which part is sick? I'll get Grandma Berta!" Valko looks so panicked to see Lina's still pale face.
"Hey, relax. I've been feeling better."
"Luna, I panicked to death to see you dying! I'm sorry for bringing you into danger."
"Ssttt .. don't blame yourself. This is God's will."
"I realize one thing now. You've become heroin to me" said Valko.
"A stretcher? Val, heroin does make you float. But, over time the substance will make your brain and nerve cells die. So, you're saying I'm that kind of person?" asked Luna while smiling wryly.
"Bu-not that I mean. The point is I really can't live without you, Luna." Valko took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
"Luna, I love you. Let me be the first one who's always been there for you."
Luna covered her wide-open mouth with a palm. She did not expect that Valko would express her feelings right now. A feeling that always makes his heart beat faster when with Valko.
