Chapter 28

In the afternoon Brian arrived at Vera's house. There's Erni's car parked in the yard of Vera's house.

"Waduh there's a mother attached here. Could've had me yelled at that mommy." Brian murmured before he got out of his car.

But Brian does not want to be a coward, he will face whatever is in front of him let alone this concerns his future together with Vera later.

Finally, with full confidence, Brian walked towards Vera's house and sure enough, when he arrived at the door, it was clear that Vera and Erni were staring at him simultaneously. But Erni's eyes were sharper than Vera's eyes on her. Brian could only gulp his saliva roughly. If you can choose he is better to fight with fellow men than to be faced with the anger of women let alone two women at once.

"I'll wait in Ver's room, if there's anything to shout I'll come right out!" erni said with great emphasis without staring at Vera just glanced sharply at Brian even Erni did not say hello to Brian at all.

Vera simply replied by nodding her head.

Erni accidentally leaves Vera and Brian alone, so they can solve their problems with a cold head. Erni does not want to interfere too far, because after all the decision is in the hands of Vera.

As soon as Erni was out of sight, Brian immediately sat down next to Vera and held Vera's hand.

"Yank, I'm sorry!" lirih Brian with regrets that are clearly visible on his face.

Vera slowly released her hand from Brian's grasp. Brian realized that, he even saw the hand of Vera who did not want to be held.

"There's nothing to forgive, you're not wrong." Vera replied with a forced smile, and of course the smile contained such deep pain.

"Yank, please! Please mock me, you get angry at me but I beg you not to let me down like a gini." said Brian who again grabbed Vera's hand. Vera tried to let go but Brian firmly held her back so inevitably Vera let her hand held by Brian.

"I know I'm wrong Yank, I can't be firm but I swear by whatever I uda nothing like him since he left I did that." Brian tried to explain what happened.

"Yesterday I met him honestly I was in shock to not believe and sorry if I was impressed I could not refuse him." continued Brian because Vera was just silent with a look forward.

"I don't want to be the third person, because I'm also a woman so I can feel how the pain is being cheated on." replied Vera after being quiet for quite a while, and keep looking ahead without seeing Brian who was sitting next to him.

"There is no third, fourth, fifth, hundredth Yank! You're the only one!" brian said reassuring Vera and Vera just went back to silence.

Brian let out a long sigh before he finally returned to speaking.

Hearing Brian's words, success made Vera turn her head as if she did not believe Brian. And of course Brian knows that Vera still doubts him.

Brian also let go of Vera's hand which he originally held, then reached into the phone that was nailed his pants. Vera is only speechless to see what Brian is doing because Brian looks like he will contact someone.

And it wasn't long before Brian spoke to someone across the street.

"Halo Ma, tomorrow morning Brian wants to go home all want to know Mama and Papa wife-to-be Brian his name is Vera" said Brian by emphasizing the word 'wives' and the name 'Vera' while glancing at Vera because he wanted to see what reaction Vera would give.

And it was a success that made Vera want to reach Brian's phone but with a quick movement Brian avoided his phone so that it could not be achieved by Vera instead Vera fell into the arms of Brian and the opportunity that Brian used to keep hugging Vera.

"...."

"Yes Ma tomorrow around 9am we leave from here. Mama and Papa are ready to welcome the prospective daughter-in-law." replied Brian who is still in a position to hug Vera.

"...."

"Yes Mama set it. Okay, let's say hello to Papa and all."

Finally, Brian decided on the call and put his phone on the table in front of him. Vera had just realized that their position was hugging each other finally Vera slightly thrashed to escape but instead Brian hugged her tightly and put his head on Vera's back.

"Let it be like this for a second. I miss you, I'm serious about you." Brian said.

Finally Vera was silent and gave Brian time to release his kangen. Because if I'm honest, he misses Brian, too. And now Vera really sees the seriousness of Brian because he will introduce him to his family tomorrow.
