They were still mediocre, as if they had no plans. When they reached the Library, they said their greetings as usual. Yet... There was no reply from Raka even though they had already said the greeting three times.
Lidya was about to turn to class but her intention was immediately prevented by her two best friends. They spread out their hands to block Lidya's path.
"Don't go back to Lidya!" prevent Ani.
"Why?"
"We'd better get in first." persuaded Nurul while embracing his arm.
"Yes, who knows soon Raka sir will enter." added Ani.
"Hmmm." she replied briefly, she could not refuse their request.
They also entered the library.
Still with his lazy steps, Lidya headed to their favorite place. While Nurul and Ani accidentally walk behind Lidya, because they want to celebrate their success with a very slow toss so as not to be known by Lidya. "Yes, the first step worked." They muttered simultaneously, then approached Lidya.
After they sat down at their respective places, Nurul started a conversation with various trite questions. They gave a box of cakes that Nurul had entrusted to Raka. Not to forget Nurul gave a letter that he had prepared last night.
As for the poem written by Nurul as below 👇👇👇
If you're fragile, stop for a moment and keep your heart
Let him heal himself through process and time
I know everything about feelings that can never be if you have to live in a hurry
But you also have to remember, do not be too late to lament the disappointment that is not in accordance with your wishes
I also realized that the journey to recovery took time
But you also have to realize never ignore those who love you
People who are even willing to wait just to see your happiness
Then enjoy every thing that happens in your process with joy
^^^Warm greetings from your best friend^^^
^^^Nurul^^
After Lidya read the letter, she felt moved and apologized to her two friends. Circumstances warmed up instantly, their jokes and laughter occasionally sounded.
"I remember when I was away because of Rendi" Nurul said when she recalled the incident.
"What connection?" asked Lidya while frowning her forehead.
"Maybe it has nothing to do, it's just that there's a slight difference."
"meaning?"
"If it was my fault that time was to stay away from you, this time it was your fault to silence us Lidya...."
"Push how Nurul?"
"You're not as cheerful and enthusiastic as Lidya used to be."
"Not only that, you are right next to us. But your heart is not with us." he continued.
"Was it just because of your dissatisfaction with the punishment that the Headmaster gave back then that you ignored us?"
"It's not because it's Nurul, it's because of Raka. If only he hadn't come and defended Friska with that ridiculous idea, Friska might not be in school today."
Without them noticing, the person they were talking about was beside the bookshelf. Because the person eavesdropped on their conversation. He wondered what really happened to Lidya.
But he did not think that it was the source of the problem. He can't just take it. He got out of hiding and protested. "Owh... So it's like that?"
"Sir Raka, since when are you here?" asked Ani who was very surprised by his arrival.
The flashback
While the lesson was going on, Nurul asked permission to go to the toilet. Actually he wants to meet Mr. Raka to cooperate with them.
They ask for an opportunity from Raka to comfort them from the course because they want to give the cake and a letter that has been prepared from last night.
Without thinking long, Raka immediately agreed to their idea because he also felt that some days there was something different from Lidya's attitude.
"All right, I'll help you guys." He said as Nurul spoke out their intentions.
Flashback.
But there seems to be a change of plans, because Raka appeared at a time that is not in accordance with the previous agreement.
"Why did Raka suddenly appear?" tanya Nurul whispered to Ani.
Raka realized that, then she said, "Sorry Nurul, Ani, I didn't keep my promise because of your friend who doesn't know yourself." while pointing towards Lidya. He did not accept Lidya's statement.
Lidya did not want to lose, she immediately snapped at Raka with her chatter. "Father who doesn't know himself, you're just an apprentice here! You have no right to manage the business that is in this school."
"Oh. So it's like that, all right. From tomorrow I'll be dropping out of this school."
Lidya took one step forward to approach Raka. "Yes, it's better to be like that." replied Lidya while shaking her waist.
Nurul and Ani could not break up the quarrel of the two people who they thought were both great.
Raka grew even more furious and gnashing her teeth held back the anger. He was the one who always dared to beat him.
Lidya held the hands of her two best friends and spoke. "Come on Nurul, Ani, we need to get out of here!"
"Ecc... But.." prevent Nurul while holding Lidya's shoulder but Lidya did not mengubris protest from his best friend. He drew Nurul's hand out of the room.
Nurul and Ani could only resign and look back because they felt guilty for him.
"Akhs... Why is everything so messy like this?" Shouted Raka frustratedly as she ruffled her hair after their departure.
