LOST IN YOUR HEART

LOST IN YOUR HEART
FIRST DAY IN BEIJING

Jack prepared his suitcase to take to Beijing. He also brought some clothes and weapons. Yesterday, he changed his mind and asked Mr. Kang to book two plane tickets as he would take Sungjae with him. As he was changing clothes with a slightly relaxed t-shirt, Mr. Kang knocked on the door of his room slowly.

"Master, the car that was going to take you to the airport is ready" Mr. Kang said.

"Alright, have Sungjae carry my suitcase into the trunk" Jack said from inside his room.

"Good sir."

A few minutes later Sungjae arrives to pick up Jack's suitcase and immediately takes him to the trunk of the car. Jack looked at his room. He swept his eyes across the room. And his eyes were adrift in the bouncy baby box he had just bought yesterday. She slowly approached the box she bought for her baby after she was born. He pensively stared for a long time at the pure white thing in front of him. With a slight tremble, his hand moved slowly touching the object and tried to swing the baby box.

"NGIKS ! NGIK !" box sound swaying. Jack's feelings are getting worse. He rubbed his face violently. Tears almost flowed from both eyes. Then when Sungjae came back to see him and said the suitcase was finished being lifted into the car, he got out of the room. As Jack descends and all the servants deliver him to the porch in prayer, Jack sends his servant a message to keep them on the job as usual.

Their car leaves from their yard to Gimpo International Airport, Seoul. Just a few minutes, the driver delivered them at exactly 08.00 am, 30 minutes before departure. Jack and Sungjae enter the Korean Air plane and check their seat numbers. After getting their seat number, their suitcase is placed on top. Jack sat by the window. Shortly thereafter, the plane took off. The Korean Air plane they were aboard glided across the sky and split the white clouds, greeting the sun closer to the rays that highlighted their arrival. The flight went well without any interruptions. It only took 2 hours and 15 minutes, their plane reached Beijing International Airport, China.

All passengers disembarked regularly without pushing. Jack and Sungjae make their way to the airport's front yard. Many passengers passed by beside them. When he saw the taxi, Jack immediately entered it followed by Sungjae. He told the driver to drive them to an inn close to Ghost Street (Gui Ji ) Dongzhimen area. The driver understood and immediately took them to an inn in Dongzhimen area. Arriving at the Yonghe temple area, Jack got off and paid his tax. After five minutes of walking, they arrived at a Chinese-style hotel, the Temple Courtyard Hotel. They were greeted by a friendly old receptionist. The man was very excited to talk to his guests. Before long, Jack got the key, and they immediately headed for the reserved room upstairs.

Sungjae placed their luggage next to a table. With two beds in it, Jack sat on one of those beds. He also landed his body on it.

"Lock the door, I'll take a little nap" he told Sungjae.

"Okay" he replied.

Jack lay down and closed his eyes for a while, before he began his work. The atmosphere became silent like a funeral ceremony. Sungjae plays his phone and informs Daniel that they are both at a hotel close to Yonghe temple.

"The two of us were already at a hotel near Yonghe temple. Jack is on a break. I think we'll both be in action tonight."

...****************...

At 15:11 pm ,

Jack looked up from the window of his room to observe the surroundings. Especially on the streets of Ghost Street which still looks empty because the new merchant's stall is starting to open. Unlike the restaurants that have been open since the morning. He sat down on the couch and opened his laptop. It looks for an address on the map about a place that would have been worth suspecting as a place for fertilizer or rice warehouses. Jack took a long breath. Then he looked for a place to rent a car that would help them get around Beijing. And he also got a car rental location that is quite close to the location of the hotel.

"Let's go. I'm gonna go find a rental car." Jack said.

"Good Jack."

They went out down the room and walked to the east side of the hotel where they were staying. At a car rental, Jack was bidding on the rental price. The rental price there is quite expensive for Nissan GT-R type cars. After the rental price is suitable, Jack immediately tries to improve the engine and how fast the launching is in a matter of hours. Jack drives around Ghost Street. And there was no place that looked suspicious. Repeatedly he circled the place the result was the same. Jack's mind is fucked. He kept saying Mika's name in his heart. He wanted to yell off the weight in his mind.

It had been 3 hours more they went down in the streets, but the first day they did not get any leads. Jack ends his search for Mika. They will continue it tomorrow. That night, Jack could not sleep. Sungjae.

"Are you not sleeping Jack?" ask Sungjae.

"I don't know either. Why can it be like this. What might be the location of Ghost Street is just a mere mention. Not the real name of the place." asked Sungjae.

"Daniel tracked down a place that looked like a fertilizer and rice warehouse in this area. But we also can't confirm that the place is our target" said Jack.

"Tomorrow we try to go there and make sure." Sungjae proposes and turns out it's the same thing Jack thought.

They're silent again. Sungjae began to sleepy and yawned hard. He went to sleep and closed his eyes. While Jack is still faithful staring at the screen of his laptop. With erratic thoughts. Over and over again he grabbed her hair and pinched the nose bone between her eyes.

Jack whispered softly.

*

Dear mika, hold on.

Take care of yourself and our baby, I'll find you soon.

I pledge.
