Chapter 44: The End of the Holy City

"Talking is over now time is serious."

Eros swung his fan and an air coupled with black flames gushed towards Yujin. Yujin slashed at him with a sword then moved towards Eros.

He swung his sword back quickly which was balanced with a fan, as a result of the attack the explosions occurred everywhere along with dazzling flashes of light.

"Evil Sword."

A wave of shadow slashes out from Yujin's sword, Eros held it back for a moment with his fan before he bounced it to the side making it shatter the pillars around him, he swiftly moved Yujin swinging his sword and it was unbelievable that Eros' form turned into black fog and then pierced through Yujin's body before appearing behind her. Yujin was about to turn around but she was kicked to hit the pillars with a loud bang before stopping after hitting the last part.

"Cross Bullet."

Eros sent out a wind slash over and over, Yujin turned herself into demon mode and formed a wall to protect her, it was good enough to defend.

At the same time Eros has also switched to demon mode then stepped forward, Yujin follows and they fight at an unreasonable speed, from one place to another and then in the air with a deafening sound.

Their fight was barely visible to anyone who witnessed it firsthand. Eros body could turn into smoke, the one thing Yujin could do was hit right as she was about to attack.

A sword scratch appeared on Eros face that was quite shocked about the matter just now before he completely jumped back, he flicked his fan and the air shrouded in black flames gushed at Yujin engulfing him in a dark veil, even so he still stood up without losing his balance.

"You're just using demonic-powers, don't tell me you can't use magic."

Answer exactly. Yujin was not so keen on retaliating and he chose to attack long-range.

In his hand he created a black sphere which he shot at high speed and then exploded creating a giant crater 50 meters in diameter, in the middle of the crater Eros laughed unharmed.

"It's really interesting, a person who is called a goddess but instead uses demonic powers, while he can't use magic.Unbelievably, let's consider this fight to be balanced for now."

"What did you say?"

"I think with your abilities you can kill other demons."

Eros took a moment and continued.

Yujin knew that the demon in front of her was very interested in pleasure, it proved that she was also going undercover just for the sake of it.

Yujin corrected her position and sheathed back her sword.

"I didn't think you'd obey" he mocked.

"My life goal is just to create a habitable territory, killing demons is Asuramaru's goal. I can be patient with that next time I'll kill you."

"So am I."

The whole world started to come back and it became their farewell.

Outside the holy city, Yujin discovers everyone has been waiting for her.

Liliana in human form said first.

"It looks like we lost our carriage, maybe I'll happily be our mount at this time."

"I think so."

"Surprising Yujin said that."

Yujin actually just felt tired and wanted to finish the conversation as soon as possible.

Vesta interrupted.

"I'll treat you Yujin, please sit down."

"Thank you."

While Testarossa just gazed far towards the city in front of him which was partially burned by black flames.
