Chapter 29: The Battle of the Capital

As Yujin had agreed before, he would fight Arnold at the training ground. Roroa and Talia accompany Liliana and Vesta.

"Are you sure Yujin would do this?" the doubt arose from Roroa which was answered so briefly.

"No problem."

Just as they were about to walk something had flown into the sky, it was a dragon made of light then falling right over Yujin's head that held him down with a katana.

Everyone huddled up to protect themselves before turning their eyes to the real culprit.

"I've guessed that power just now can't really hurt you."

"Not that this was just a match training just now you really wanted to kill us."

Everyone fell silent and only Yujin became the only person capable of speaking.

"I changed my mind, I thought I'd kill you, including Queen Roroa, but don't worry, once I become the leader of this kingdom victory will be sure to fall on humans."

Talia put on a face of disbelief, Arnold looks very different he has three creepy eyes.

"Stop kidding Arnold, we're both survivors of the Knight of Pirsel, where maybe you're trying to kill the queen."

Blood gushed from Talia's mouth as Arnold's sword tip pierced through her stomach, from her clothes a red droplet hit the floor of her footing.

"Arnold, you?"

"When you choose to try to make peace with the demon race then you are not much different from the enemy, now I have the power to change everything, alone is more than enough."

Just as Talia falls, Yujin and Liliana dart forward to prevent Arnold from committing murder. Liliana sends her fists to coincide with Yujin pulling her sword but when they realize they have been flown back backwards.

"What just happened? Obviously I can hit it with my punch," asked Liliana.

"I feel so too."

Vesta pulled out her bow and slid an arrow right in front of Arnold's eyes, with a slight movement, it shot away.

"Liliana did you see it?"

"Obviously he didn't move but why didn't the arrow hit him."

"Understand."

"Before that."

Liliana darted forward she caught Talia's clothes then threw it away to be captured by Yujin with one hand.

Just then Liliana was slashed by Arnold's sword splitting it into two halves.

"You're off guard."

"No, is he the same Arnold?" Roroa.

"He's a demon."

Yujin stepped forward with a puncture motion coupled with a sideways slash, Arnold moved backwards as if his body was hovering. He fended off every slash then retaliated by turning his sword from top to bottom.

Yujin held him horizontally until his footing slashed into the ground. He was kicked until he was pushed a few meters back.

"Yujin until when did you hide your powers. You obviously have a deal with the devil it's supposed to be more than this."

Yujin was not affected by his words, she had already sheathed back her sword as she said.

"The flow of Tsubaki sword arts, Breath of ice."

A cold chill covered his body as he slashed down at high speed, Arnold's figure wrapped in 30-meter-high ice but only moments before the chunk cracked, shattered and fell.

Yujin stared flatly as she said.

"This world is too hard for anyone to move here."

Arnold smiled happily.

"If you don't want to take it out, I just have to force you."

The sword in Arnold's hand turned into a dragon in the form of a golden light.
