84. Changing the Past

Flashback Bram in the future

"Lad...." A little boy of about five years old entered a room full of sophisticated tools. His face was handsome, cute and not much different from his father's appearance. It's just that the shape of his face is more dominant to the face of his mother who died five years ago due to being killed by an unknown person.

The boy did not come alone. He entered the room with his beautiful sister and an adult woman who was the same age as his father.

"Rafka!" the girl shouted after her little sister who ran towards their father.

"Aila, don't run" said the woman following her two nieces.

"Father! Hik, hik," isak Rafka pulled the tip of his father's white coat which was busy watching the flow of data in the machine he was repairing.

"Oh, Rafka and Aila, why come here? It's not that you should accompany Oma to picky-pick your clothes for the wedding" said the man opening his glasses, showing his dominant face to Aila, who was none other than Aidan.

"FATHER!" said Aila pouting with her sister.

"Papa, Lafka ndak mawu Aunt Hana. Lafka mawu na sama Mama, Papa.." whine Rafka jump up and down.

"True, Ayila also disagrees with Papa getting married!" sahut Aila next to her sister. Putting on a face wanted to cry so that her father wouldn't give them a new mother.

Aidan stroked the heads of his two children and then saw Keyra. Her twin sister who sometimes became a mother to Aila and Rafka who grew up without their biological mother for five years, aka Qila died after Rafka was born.

"Aidan, since yesterday you've always been here, don't you want to do that?" tanya Keyra knows Aidan is also refusing his second marriage. But due to coercion from both sides, Aidan accepted the marriage.

"You know, I used to want to marry her, but after I found out the truth, my wish was instantly gone" Aidan said, crouching in front of Aila and Rafka.

"It's Papa's fault, because Papa, you both lost your mother and brother. Papa failed to protect you." Aidan hugged his two children who were crying. Mesipun Aidan talk like that, his two children never hate him, they have a gentle nature like their mother, not like the former must have harbored hatred.

After calming her down, Aidan stood up and saw Keyra back. "Key, I put them to you" said Aidan, seeing that the machine was ready for use.

"Papa, where are you going?" ask Aila and Rafka.

"Aila, Rafka, Papa will go for a while to your mother's place" said Aidan smiling gently.

Aila and Rafka wiped their tears and immediately hugged Aidan. "Papa, can we come?" the two boys asked with a smile.

"No, it's risky. You stay here with Aunt Keyra," declined Aidan and took out a box containing the core essential to his time machine.

"Keyra, if I don't come back, please take good care of them" Aidan told Keyra.

"Well, you don't have to worry" said Keyra. He inwardly wanted to prevent Aidan from doing that but because Aidan insisted, he could not forbid it.

"Akhh, Papa! Don't leave us!" aila screamed at her father who entered the engine room. While Rafka the little one rebelled in the sling of Keyra.

"Come, kids, we need to get home before your grandfather finds this location. If anyone finds out about this place, your father's destination could be ruined." Take Keyra out of the secret place.

"Take us off, Auntie." Please Aila but for nothing, Keyra brought the two to their car. Seen near the car there was already Raiqa waiting for him.

"Huwaa.... Evil aunt! Om Rayika is evil!" The two boys cried in the car and did not forget to rebel. Hit the window and want to go out after their father but because wearing a seatbelt makes them unable to go anywhere.

"Raiqa, let's go home." Keyra turned to the handsome man sitting next to her. Raiqa nodded and followed his wishes. They were forced to leave the place and were not aware that anyone else had entered.

While waiting for the machine to work, Aidan in the room looked at an old photo of his wife and slowly wept over her death. Five years without Qila made her life feel empty and haunted by guilt.

"I'm sorry, Qila." Lirih Aidan and immediately he was surprised when the door of the trial room was opened by someone who was none other than Evan.

"Evan, how did you find this place?" Aidan retreated slightly, keeping his distance from Evan who was holding a dangerous sharp weapon.

"Of course I followed your brother's car" Evan said with a disappointed look. Aidan took out his little dice and turned them into a sword as Evan looked ready to attack him. The same weapon was in Evan's hands because it was created from Rayden's company which is now taken over by Keyra.

"Aidan, I've been looking for this machine for a long time, but now I know the place thanks to someone's information. Because of him, I tried to follow where your brother's car went and apparently stopped at this remote location. You're really a hypocrite Aidan, he says you're going back in time to change your destiny, but 9 years ago you denied it. I really hate you" Evan said and immediately attacked the frontall. Having no choice, Aidan fights him and tries to avoid the attacks of his best friend who feels betrayed.

The sound of impact from the tip of their weapon split the test room. Even Evan continued to babble throughout the fight about Aidan's wishes first.

"Stop, Evan!" said Aidan dodged and quickly set the time on the machine.

"No Aidan, I won't let you go save Qila!" evan attacked again. It slashed everything around it except the cabal connected to that machine. Evan doesn't want his loved ones to live with Aidan anymore so he prevents him from changing the past.

A fierce battle was still going on in the room. But Aidan now looked exhausted with his suit torn everywhere. In the end ...

Trang ...

The tip of the weapon was cut down by Evan with full power and finally pushed. Evan smirked seeing Aidan helpless in front of him. He knew that after Qila died, Aidan was busy spending his precious time perfecting the machine rather than training his martial arts.

"Okeh, I won't do it. This time you win, Evan," said Aidan, raising both hands up and silently glancing at the time when the machine was only a few seconds away from work.

Evan smiled with satisfaction but he knew what Aidan was thinking so he quickly took over the situation.

"NO EVAN! STOP THAT!" aidan shouted to catch Evan's arm which was scrambling the timing of his goal. Instantly the electricity in the room exploded violently, 'BOOM!' simultaneously the bright light came out dazzling and filled all the rooms. Slowly the glare of light dimmed and disappeared along with the two feuding men also vanished. All is quiet and dark. Only the sword of Aidan(Bram) was left there.
