34. Whispers From Evan

Because Aidan was suddenly in front of him, Arum hugged him. The man was surprised to receive his mother's impromptu embrace in front of passers-by.

Aidan and Evan stared at each other in confusion as they had not prepared the answer yet. But luckily, Evan immediately thought about his brother's son so he had a good reason.

"Oh this is a toy for my niece, Auntie," answered Evan grinning shyly in front of Arum who narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

The woman understood and immediately praised Evan as a good uncle. Makes Aidan can only frown.

'Currently, I should have gotten that compliment.' Aidan was upset that he bought the toy for the twins.

"Well," said Aidan.

"Hmm, why? You want to go home with Mama?" ask Arum.

"Son, Aidan doesn't want to go home. Mama's better off coming home now before Papa realizes Mama's not home." Aidan told his mother while pointing.

"Hmm, why don't you go up there?" evan asked pointing at Aidan and Arum who were already sitting inside the vehicle while waiting for the two of them.

"I-I.." said Qila stalled when her right hand was grabbed by Evan suddenly.
