Let go of me, Sir

Let go of me, Sir
Chapter 3

When Jessy woke up, she was in the ward alone.

His phone ran out of battery. Jessy had no idea how long she had been unconscious, but when she looked out the window, it was still dark.

Jessy got up, put on her shoes, picked up her handbag, and walked out. As he passed through Brenda's room, he saw the door open and stopped.

In the ward is Brenda, accompanied by Jessy's husband, Marco.

Brenda looks cute and innocent. Wearing a blue-and-white striped hospital gown, Brenda remained graceful, her skin white and her eyes bright. Jessy thought Marco's mybe only liked Brenda's simplicity. Jessy, on the other hand, is like a demon that prevents them from being together.

Jessy was jealous because Marco was so kind to Brenda.

Those who didn't know Marco thought he was my cold nature, but Jessy knew Marco was only gentle on Brenda.

Sure oes... Marco used to be nice to Jessy, but now he's not.

Jessy finally caught the attention of Brenda and Marco inside. Seeing Jessy once, Brenda shivered and hit behind Marco.

Brenda looked timid and her eyes reddened as if she was looking at a bad man.

Marco patted Brenda's shoulder gently. Marco turned his head with cold, agitated eyes as he saw Jessy standing by the door.

Marco felt disgusted, scolding. "What are you doing standing there and sneaking around?!"

Standing in the doorway and watching Marco and Brenda be friendly and passionate to each other, Jessy feels uncomfortable. Jessy doesn't want to see them, but she can't help it because she's never seen Marco like this before and she misses Marco for being gentle with her.

Jessy's eyes began to blur from tears... And his heart hurts.

Marco protects Brenda behind him and glares at Jessy. Seeing Jessy's pale, bloodless face, Marco suddenly had mixed emotions and frowned.

"Now that you wake up, come back!"

Jessy hesitated before asking in a hoarse voice, "Are you going back tonight?"

Seeing Marco's wary eyes, Jessy did not bother to explain. Jessy could not imagine what heinous things he had done over the years that made Marco so defensive of him.

Although Jessy keeps Marco away from Brenda, during their four-year marriage, Jessy serves Marco's daily life as a governess.

Although Jessy does not have a happy marriage with Marco, she has never asked about Marco and Brenda all along.

Marco had some concerns about Jessy before. After the lawrence family disappears from the rich list, Jessy no longer poses a threat to Marco.

Jessy doesn't even talk about Marco and Brenda together, but it's impossible to let go.

With Marco, Jessy lost everything. Jessy has stomach cancer and is dying, but has to donate her blood to Brenda. But who can save Jessy?

Jessy was very heartbroken and even her fingertips trembled.

Jessy used to take orders from Marco all year round. Initially, he licked it, but now he was silent and trapped.

"Is Jessy okay after giving so much blood? He's very pale.."

"It's okay. He's always in good health."

Even Brenda can see that Jessy looks pale, but the man Jessy loves doesn't.

Marco was not careless. He knows something is wrong with his job or Brenda, but he has no patience or concern for Jessy, whom he has known for six years.

Jessy took a deep breath and left without looking back. The rain is getting heavier.

Jessy walked slowly back with her head down. He did not carry an umbrella in his bag and was immediately drenched by the rain. Jessy, who was always cold, felt so cold that her lips, which had turned blue from the cold, became dry, with water droplets on her back lashes.

Jessy's head and stomach hurt from the cold. Jessy reached out to cover her stomach and the ring on her ring finger fell down by accident.

Jessy followed with dull eyes and found that the ring she had been wearing for four years lost its original, somewhat dark luster there. Jessy remembers when he signed with Marco, he said. "Since we're married, we should have a ring, right?"

Marco hears about it and buys the ring for 5 dollars to Jessy at a roadside stall.

Marco insinuating. "Take it. That's all that's worth to you."

Jessy just smiled, disappointed. The ring was one size smaller, but he forced it. Her ring finger was red and bloody, but she insisted on wearing it the whole time.

Jessy stubbornly thought that the ring would fit someday, not because it would eventually slip off her finger.

It was like Jessy's relationship with Marco.

Jessy curled up in the rain because her stomach hurt. Jessy covered her mouth with her hands and vomited. His eyes were red and tears began to flow.

It was still raining. The pedestrian on the street raised an umbrella. Jessy squatted down, took the ring, put it on her chest, and just stood up when her stomach didn't hurt too much.

Jessy was dazed in the rain and bumped into someone before regaining consciousness. Jessy apologizes frantically to a young mother and a young boy. The woman held the boy's hand and said softly, "No problem."

The boy looked at Jessy's red eyes and asked in a low voice, "Are you crying?"

The woman patted the boy on the head and looked at Jessy apologetically before taking him away.

Seeing the woman and the boy leave, Jessy heard the boy ask his mother. "Why is she crying? Is it because he's scared?"

"How could he be afraid?"

During the spatter, Jessy could not hear what the mother and child were saying.

Jessy converted her stomach gently and raised her head to hold back her tears.

Is Jessy scared? How could he not be afraid? Jessy was terrified when she went to the hospital for gastroscopy alone, and when she was called to the diagnosis room by a doctor. In addition, when Jessy was finally diagnosed with a deadly disease, she was even afraid of cold all over her body.

But more than that, Jessy is afraid to die alone, with no one around.
