The venue is now empty, as guests have already returned home. The ones living in that place were only the nuclear family of both parties, namely the Rehan family and the Rajendra Family. Which is not only Anisa's family because the girl is forbidden to go home by Nicholas, because he will take the girl home.

"Sir Nicho, can you explain what really happened?" nathan asked who was actually still very curious why he was engaged to Renata.

"Yes,Sister. I also want to know," Renata chimed in on Nathan's remarks.

" The truth is, regarding my feelings of wanting to make you, a life partner, is true. But, when you begged me to ask Om Rajendra to call off the match, I realized that love should not be forced, especially Nathan is my brother. Coincidentally, Om Rajendra actually never received my proposal at first" Nicholas said at length.

"What's? papa never accepted? meaning?" Renata clenched his forehead.

"Did you remember when you asked me why I came to your house?" Renata nodded his head. At the time, Nicholas said he asked his father to speed up the engagement and threatened that he would not accept it, the stakes were his papa company.

After Nicholas thought all night of Renata's plea that asked Rajendra to ask his papa, in order to cancel the match, Nicholas finally made a decision.

In the morning, Nicholas comes to Rajendra's residence with a plan with the approval of his father Rehan that fully supports Nicholas' decision.

"Eh, Brother Nicholas? why are you here again? didn't I tell you that I didn't accept your request?" rajendra said in a cold tone.

"I'm not here to force Om to accept my proposal again. But there's something I want to talk about" Nicholas said casually but remained polite.

"All right! you're coming to my workroom!" Rajendra swung his legs, stepped towards the study, and Nicholas followed behind.

"Please sit!" Rajendra pointed towards the sofa.

"Thank you, Om!" nicholas sahut while landing his body sitting on the sofa.

"So what do you want to say?" ask Rajendra without further ado.

"I just wanted to ask, Om. Why didn't Om accept my papa's proposal?"

"Because I know that my daughter does not love you, but loves another man" Rajendra replied, straightforwardly. "Actually if it wasn't for me promising to give you a chance, for that guy to prove that he's capable of making Renata happy, I probably wouldn't have thought long enough to keep my son with you. But, Sorry! that man his words must be held. So with a heavy heart, I'll keep waiting for Nathan to fulfill his promise. I don't know why I like Nathan's assertiveness and responsibility. I'm so, very sure that he is sincere, and must be successful one day" Rajendra said with, very confident and steady.

Nicholas' smile immediately rose to adorn his lips.

"Alright, Om. I finally calmed down as soon as I found out the real reason. But, I really want to make sure that Om someday does not break his promise" said Nicholas ambiguously.

"meaning?"Rajendra scrunched his forehead.

Rajendra shook his head, thinking about what Nicholas had just said. There was a sentence he did not like at all, in which the young man doubted him, afraid that he would change midway.

"I don't like it when anyone doubts me. Didn't I say that a man should hold his word? so, when I told you that I was going to give Nathan a chance, I wouldn't change, unless Nathan had crossed the line. Because as a father, he really wanted the best for his daughter,"

"Sorry, Um, if Om doesn't accept my words. But, other than for that reason, I just want to be able to more freely guard Renata, representing Nathan. If there's a guy trying to get close to Renata, I'm gonna get rid of those guys, saying that I'm Renata's fiancee, what, Om?" ask Nicholas again, all hope.

Rajendra did not immediately agree, the man still seemed to think, will advice Nicholas. Then, the man took a deep breath and threw it back into the air with a single blow.

"All right, I agree!" rajendra finally. "But, don't try to tempt my daughter and cunningly do things, to make my daughter fall in love with you. Because if it's like that, I will firmly reject you as my daughter-in-law, no matter how rich you are. Wh why? yes because with what you do, I can conclude that you are a selfish man who justifies various ways to get what you want. I don't want my daughter to have such a partner" Rajendra continued, giving Nicholas an ultimatum.

"Om, just calm down. I'm not that type" said Nicholas, steady.

"Good! Hold on to your words! so what's your plan now?" ask Rajendra.

"We're going to have an engagement next week, and as I said earlier, in private. Let no one know, because I am afraid that if anyone knows, Nathan can hear, so that he can interfere with his concentration to achieve his dreams. Let him focus on pursuing his dreams" said Nicholas, straightforward and firm.

Rajendra nodded his head, feeling that what Nicholas said made sense.

"So, what should Om do?"

"Om, it's still pretending that Om's company is under our company's control, so Om agrees to both of our engagements. How, Om?"

"All right then. I agree!" rajendra smiled with satisfaction.

"Welcome to work together, Om!" Nicholas reached out his hand and shook Rajendra's hand.

"Now I am, saying goodbye! Om take it easy, the ring problem I will prepare well. I'll make sure the ring's gonna be there next week,"

"OK!" answer Rajendra.

Nicholas finally steps out of Rajendra's study. Although there is pain in his heart, because his love for Renata is unrequited, he has no intention of taking Renata from Nathan. He doesn't want to make Nathan feel that the loss of the woman he loves is caused by him anymore, as he does when he feels more affection from Naura than Nathan is the biological son of his mother.
