Kan Kukejar Dreams
Go away

"So, I'm not your son? So this is the reason why you've always thought of me as nothing?" nathan's eyes seemed to be teary-eyed withstanding the crying and hunting breath.

"Nathan!" muttered Arsen with a face that turned pale.

"Why are you two quiet? answer, Brother! So, I'm not your son?" nathan said in a demanding tone.

"Yes, you were not born from the same womb as us. You were born to that snake woman!" answered Angga in a high voice.

"Sir Angga, stop it!" shouted Arsen. Then the man turned to Nathan.

"You must not listen to what Brother Angga says. Aunt Naura is your mother, a very good woman. You were not born to the woman you knew as your mother, but you are still our sister, because we have the same father" Arsen said, hoping Nathan would understand.

"Hahahaha, what kind of good woman would want to leave her baby child? just so you know, Nathan. You are a child that no one wants. The proof is that your own mama left you," Angga quipped with a cynical grin at the corner of his lips.

Nathan suddenly smiled, even though his heart was in pain. The smile that rose on Nathan's lips suddenly made Angga and Arsen squint.

"Why are you smiling? are you crazy, huh? shouldn't you be sad and crying?" ask Angga.

"What am I crying for? tears and sadness have been my friends for a long time. Why am I smiling, it's because I've found the answer to my question all along. In the past, I always wondered why I was different from you, even though every brother and sister was never the same. Today I've found the answer, of course I have to be happy right?" nathan said without letting go of his smile.

"Nathan, you can't talk like that! even though we didn't come from the same womb, we had the same papa," Arsen opened each return.

Nathan smiled again at Arsen.

"But unfortunately the person we call papa and the only one who thinks I exist, is gone. True said Angga, I was never wanted, because my own mother left me. So, since I already know everything, I should know myself. I don't deserve to be in this house" Nathan said as he tried desperately to hold back his tears.

"Nathan, take back your words! this house is your home too" Arsen said in a fiery tone.

"No Brother. This is not my home. The real house is the one that makes us feel comfortable, but what I'm going through is just the opposite,"

"It's good that you've realized it!" suddenly Pure appeared and stood on the steps. It seemed like the middle-aged woman, woke up hearing the noise below.

Nathan turned to the direction of the voice, and smiled back. "Yes, and I'm sorry I realized it too late. Now, this selfless child, and who has always been this shameful, will soon be gone. You will never feel ashamed again" Nathan said emotionlessly.

"Nathan don't be like that! you never feel ashamed! You must not go anywhere, this house is your home too, because in your blood there is the blood of Aditya Pramono, our papa," Arsen tried to prevent.

"Arsen, what did you prevent it from doing?if he wants to leave, go. I want to see how long he can survive outside" Angga opened his voice again in a dismissive tone to Nathan.

"And you Nathan, once you go, remember, I won't spend a penny on your tuition later" Angga tweeted, sure that Nathan would think a thousand times to get out of this house.

"Sister Angga! nathan's tuition fee was prepared by papa first, and that's his right. Brother has absolutely no right!" arsen.

"That is his right, but once he steps out, it means he is ready with the consequences he must accept including the breakup of tuition fees," said Angga straightforwardly without burden.

"Partially, rather than spending on college expenses that would obviously be useless for someone as stupid as him, you better use it to buy a new car or buy jewelry," Purely chimed in the speech of Angga with lips that smirked cynically.

"No, look what I said. He certainly can't go anywhere, because he won't be able to live out there" Angga said, staring cynically at Nathan's departure. Meanwhile, Arsen immediately ran after his sister Nathan.

Angga's conjecture is completely untrue, as Nathan's ascension to his room is not because he did not leave, but he just wants to take some of his clothes, and things that are very valuable to him.

"Nathan, don't you go, Grandpa! ignore the words of Angga's sister and mama, "The newly-entered Arsen went into Nathan's room trying to hold Nathan to put his clothes in his backpack.

Nathan halted his activities and turned his head towards Arsen. "Sister, let me go! my place is not here. Believe me, I'd be a lot better out there, than if I stayed in this house. At least I'm happy enough, feeling that I still have Arsen's brother who loves me" Nathan said softly and with a sad look.

"But, how are you gonna live out there, Nath? I'll never be able to calm down thinking about your life later,"

"Sister, I'm used to living alone, doing nothing myself. I've been very well trained to fight to live alone. Brother take it easy, I must be able to get through it," replied Nathan who re-inserted his clothes, not least his books and school uniforms.

"But what about your school? you're gonna graduate soon, Nath. At least you're staying in this house first, until you graduate High School," Arsen again persuaded.

"You take it easy, I'll still finish school" Nathan pulled the zipper off his backpack, because he thought everything he needed was complete.

"I'll go first, brother. Thank you, for standing up and for thinking I'm your sister!". Nathan hugged Arsen who was already speechless.

Nathan swung his foot stepping out of the room leaving the restless Arsen where he stood. Once, the man realized, he immediately ran after Nathan down.

"Oh, so you're going to leave this house? do you think I was messing with what I said?" Angga stood up from his seat and looked at Nathan with a sharp look in his eyes.

"I know, if you're not messing with what you say. But I also don't mess with what I've decided. I don't care about that college fee anymore. Sorry I'm leaving!" Nathan continued his steps back. But not yet 5 steps, the man stopped back and twisted his body.

"Oh yeah, one more sister, Ma. I'm not as stupid as you've been saying all along. I will prove that I can succeed with the talent I have. Talent you always despise. One more thing, I promise I will never set foot in this house again, before I achieve success, excuse me!" This time Nathan really left.

Angga suddenly fell silent and felt that something was pinching his heart. The man felt ill hearing the promise of the youngest brother he hated that. Angga didn't want Nathan to say that.

"Nathan, wait Brother. If you get out of this house, I'll also come out" Nathan turned back and looked at his older brother Arsen who was already standing behind him.

"Sister, let me go alone!"please Nathan.

"Arsen, if you follow the child who does not know himself, mama will die today also in front of your eyes," threatened Murni fiery.

"Gurghhh!" Arsen rubbed his face violently, unable to do anything more.

Finally the man let Nathan step out of the house . Arsen can now only stare at Nathan's back until his brother is completely out of sight.

In the meantime, the really dumbstruck didn't expect Nathan to actually leave.
