The Part 18

Nara quickly entered the house. He could guess if the man was siding with him but still Nara could not trust someone so easily. The woman had to endure the overwhelming fear to the point of letting out cold sweat.

Nara's breath gagged out from her nose. Her chest is also a kempis.

Alden who was confused to see Nara in a state of anxiety and fear then approached the woman.

"Did something happen?" her tanya in a cold voice made Nara who felt alone in the room instantly startled.

He stared at Alden with his mouth open. Nara was about to answer, but at once she planted her mouth. He had forgotten that the person in front of him was Alden.

"It's okay. You don't have to worry about anything." Nara tries to perform more optimally so that she is not suspected by Alden.

He was slowly gaining the favor of Alden. Nara hoped that the kindness would continue until she finally managed to hurt the man.

"You lied to me, Nara!" Alden pulled Nara's waist and held her tightly. There's a sign of hypocrisy there.

"Eum... L'm... I said the truth," said Nara with a chest that skipped a beat accompanying the sentence she issued. Then how could Alden believe him if he himself did not believe his words.

Nara took a deep breath. In his heart he kept grumbling. He glanced at Alden silently, whether the man's expression showed he already believed what yet. Nara was hoping that Alden would believe her right away.

But Alden's expression was indeed very confusing to Nara. Nara looked at the man hopefully anxiously while biting her lips.

"alright. If I know you're lying then you should get punished."

Alden brought Nara into his arms and Nara breathed a little. Alden rubbed Nara's head and placed his head on Nara's shoulder.

"Nara."

"Hm?" Alden's voice was so deep that something he wanted to convey was evident from his slightly anxious tone.

"Today I'm so tired. So much to handle."

Alden stretched his arms to Nara. She smiled and touched both of Nara's cheeks. Nara gasped and looked up following the demands from Alden's hands.

"What's really going on? Why are you so tired, Uncle?"

"I think I have a lot of work to do. Many bullies and useless officers kept chasing me. Really tiring. I hope to get out of this situation soon" Alden said, recounting the problems he faced outside. "But each time you see how beautiful you are makes me a little more excited. I hope you've always been my encouragement." Nara nodded. This time he really sincerely felt sorry for Alden.

"Uncle is what kind of work do you do?"

Alden smiled in anguish. He brought his lips closer to Nara's ears. Nara felt her body bristling and there was a flow of cold blood as she felt a breath of air from Alden.

"You know what job? Well because your curiosity is very high then I will tell you. So I work as a big mafia. Don't be surprised because it's been a part of my life. I just executed the man who betrayed me. Not just one, which is why I'm so exhausted because of that."

Nara blinked her eyes. Is that really what Alden said? He went limp and looked at the man in disbelief.

"You...." Nara was unable to continue her words because her tears could not be prevented from coming out to make her sob. Nara tries to fight her fear but seeing Alden and hearing all his hobbies makes her nauseous and dizzy.

As a result Nara fell unconscious and fortunately there was Alden who held Nara's body.

"I've guessed you haven't really accepted me. You had to, but it's okay. Even if I had to, I'd still make you the one who should be by my side forever." The tone that comes out is a tone filled with obsession and also possessiveness.

Nara opened her eyes and she saw the white room. The room is a private hospital in Alden's house. Lately he has always been here for recovery.

Nara took a deep breath and closed her eyes again. He still remembers Alden lightly telling his work. Nara was very unexpected if she was currently living in a house with a monster.

"Alden." Nara was surprised when she saw the man in the same room with her and was watching him.

Nara was frightened but she tried to hold back her fear. Alden realized that as he watched Nara gulp uncomfortably.

"You scared of me, honey? I told you you have to be mentally strong if you want to know what my job is. Because you kept pushing me then I had no choice but to say it, and yeah something like this happened."

"Why did you kill them? Why don't you give them hope for life."

"Darling, just so you know I hate betrayal. I can't let a traitor live. Huh, my trust if it has been betrayed then I will no longer believe."

Nara is clearly committing treason. Did Alden know he was going to be killed?

"If it were me would you kill me?" asked Nara with a raspy euara because she could not imagine her fate.

Alden looked at Nara sharply. His hands clenched when he heard a question he did not want to hear. Alden threw his face away and did not answer Nara's question.

The man then left and only Nara was left in the room. Nara was silent with all the questions on her mind.

"If I had to die then I would've had to hurt your feelings."
