"Audrey..." Lirih Joss slowly.
Very slowly, but enough to increase the frequency of shocks on Audrey's body.
Joss stop.
"Audrey..." Call Joss again, almost like a whisper.
Joss didn't want to scare Audrey more than this. Though he had tried to call Audrey as gently as possible, but to Audrey, the sound that shot out of Joss' mouth sounded like an alarm warning of danger.
Audrey slips her head between her knees.
Joss surrender!
He could not act more than this, as Audrey's fear had already reached its peak.
Joss was afraid that if she took another step closer, Audrey would lose control.
Joss breathed out a breath that felt heavy. Though he had tried to find an excuse for his wife by deliberately leaving his phone this morning so that he could return to this house. The reason was only one, to apologize to Audrey.
Joss broke her hair back. Then he lowered his head.
"Audrey ... I know, for you I may be nothing more than a monster. The monster that ruined your life and your future." Joss pauses.
"My life has been very uneasy. I have always been overwhelmed by guilt. That sin haunted me, tormented my mind, distracted me so much that I sometimes lost myself even though I was in the middle of a family that loved me."
Audrey still remained in her position, as if death would snatch her away if she moved just a little.
Joss stared at Audrey. I hope Audrey responds to her words.
"I don't know what I did to you that night. That night I was really drunk. I was unconscious, so that night I let my demonic soul take over my essence, and hurt you. But really for anything, Audrey ... I never intended to hurt you at all, let alone stain you."
Joss closed her eyes tightly as the words "tarn you" It finally slid from her mouth. Words that he had denied all this time, but in fact he did.
"I am*********, Audrey! I'm dickhead! I'm criminal! You can berate me, beat me, even kill me if that's the only way you can forgive me. Please do whatever it takes for me, Audrey. Do anything to me so that the heavy burden that has been squeezing my chest decreases. Please forgive me, Audrey. Please..."
Bruk!
Joss's leg fell down, he knelt down, then he looked down. From his mouth kept gliding apologetic words.
The tremors in Audrey's body slowly subsided.
Audrey ventured to raise her head, staring at the man who had changed her life.
The man who was larger than his body looked very fragile. Even more fragile than himself.
The dark side in Audrey's eyes that had been attached to Joss slowly disappeared. Now the man was on his knees begging him for mercy.
"I'm sorry, Audrey..." Josd stopped saying sorry. Then he raised his head slowly.
Joss felt that there was little hope for her when she saw that Audrey's body was no longer shaking. Even her sweet sister-in-law had dared to stare at him.
Joss slowly got up.
Audrey suddenly retreated from her position, getting sucked to the wall.
Joss quickly raised both hands, tried to calm down and told Audrey that she would do nothing.
"Don't be afraid, Audrey. I'm not gonna hurt you. I just want to apologize to you so you can forgive me all my mistakes."
Slowly Joss stepped her feet, moving closer and closer to Audrey. Until the distance between them is now only a few inches, so Audrey can see Joss's face clearly.
Audrey opened her eyes wide as Joss suddenly extended her hand towards Audrey.
Audrey's body shook again. Then he screamed like an apology.
Joss is confused, but he has no intention of doing anything. He forgot that Audrey was currently suffering from a deep trauma because of her actions.
Joss ventured to touch Audrey's shoulders to calm her down. Audrey's response became more hysterical.
When Joss was playing with Audrey's resistance, suddenly Joss' burly body was pulled back, a single blow landed on his face abruptly. Joss's body immediately scratched, then collapsed onto the floor.
Audrey was wide-eyed at the sight of that swift turn of events.
