CHAPTER 31

The morning after a few days of feuding with Luna, Drake seemed to be exercising next to his house.

He does push ups with one or two hands alternating.

"Well, great uncle!" joy came from the back door.

The boy came to enjoy the brown toast Drake bought last night from the bakery. While feeding a small piece of his bread into his mouth, Joy crouched down near Drake.

Not long after, they sat chatting while enjoying delicious cakes and pudding.

"Uncle, Aunt Lulu taught me to catch grasshoppers and dragonflies. Do you want to see my actions catch them?" Joy grabs Drake's hand excitedly.

As Joy is overjoyed and excited, Drake abides by the boy's wishes and follows him to a courtyard beside Lulu's house.

Inside the courtyard, Lulu and Joy create a small garden where they both plant flowers. The land they circle with a wooden fence so that the flower seeds they planted were protected from pests.

While searching for dragonflies and grasshoppers, Joy remembers her work with Lulu. So he proudly showed it to Drake.

"Uncle, look here!"

"What's wrong?"

"Lulu's aunt and I planted flowers here. Do you think the flower will grow soon?"

"Into that?" Drake noticed a wooden fence plugged into the ground surrounding several mounds.

Drake went inside the circle of the fence and sat down on the grass. He sat with a slightly bent body and leaned forward. The left hand supports the left knee while the right hand pulls on the grass.

"If you're lucky, what you plant will flourish" Drake replied.

"really? Very cool then," Joy clapped her hands and smiled at Lulu.

From his seat, Drake observed the two closely. Although he was happy to see them happy, there was a hint of sadness in his heart.

Luna's words this morning, made her think. Maybe from now on, he has to reduce the work outside a little so as not to leave Joy again to anyone.
