The campcar we were riding had stopped and parked in the Campfire Santa Clause area since this afternoon, LAUVOX members came down to take pictures and I was still lounging in the car too tired because of the long journey plus while in the car I spent a lot of time surfing the internet trying find out about korea and learn their language.
“Still trying to learn? ” asked the man I knew named Vins he was sitting in front of me thrusting a cup of warm chocolate which of course I received with pleasure.
“Yeah..fortunately I've memorized the hangul can you check my work?”
I smiled while enjoying the warm chocolate that Vins brought, while the man was busy reading a book containing scribbles of words that I knew – fortunately I was able to memorize and learn something quickly.
“Wow.. you do so well” the man clapped his hands while looking at me with a proud twinkle. I smiled broadly instead of being arrogant but I am very grateful that I am a fairly intelligent person who can understand and remember very well maybe after coming home from this tour I will learn more Korean be serious and take a counting course as adding skills.
As we chatted lightly, the open campcar door featured Jayke's face there the man standing stiffly in front of the door with a mug and sausage-filled plate in his hand.
“Hyung, what are you doing there?” Jayke walked closer followed by Vins who stood up.
“I saw him lonely so I accompanied him for a while, because you've come I caught up with the others first yes Jay”
Then Vins was a little rushed out, Jayke sitting on the chair that Vins had just left.
“You've got warm chocolate huh?” Jayke looked at the mug near me disappointedly the man then looked at the mug in his hand. I who saw the disappointment clearly drawn on his face immediately grabbed the mug in his hand and drank it without knowing it was very hot.
I almost regurgitated the chocolate I was drinking, Jayke swiftly poured water and poured it on me.
“Be careful” Jayke looks at me with a panicked look the first time I see you. I almost laughed to see his face but it was disrespectful for sure.
“Khamsahamnida*” she looked at me surprised I looked back at her with a shy smile. My pronunciation is not wrong, right?
“You can speak Korean?” he asked while closing his mouth in amazement
I shook my head while staring at the man full of anticipation “Jelek ya pronunciation me?”
He shook his hand confused to answer with Korean or English because he heard my words like a robot in Korean. “No can you learn when?”
“Tadi morn”
“Wah indeed you are the best is not wrong I became your fan.” the man showed his two thumbs while smiling “Eat because you've worked hard” he thrust a plate at me and I accepted happily because I was hungry.
“aduh for a moment I just remember” the man stood up then walked into the pantry I shrugged my shoulders not understand why Jayke is so boisterous in the pantry “still hungry right?” I who was chewing the sausage just nodded in response.
“I will make you ramyun nih”
“need help?” I approached her who was busy with the pot in front of her.
Jayke thrusting spice packaging towards me “can cut out the packaging right?” he asked, I snorted but still received his sodoran.
“can” I circulate my gaze for the sake of finding scissors but as long as the eyes look I do not see the existence of the object at all. “Jay where did you put the scissors?” Many finally.
“in top drawer like his”
I'm moving towards the top cabin that Jayke meant, opening up that cabin “ehh!”
“ada what?” jayke asked, looking at me with a frown, looking at me pecking in front of the cabin.
I smiled small “ I found Vodka” I raised my eyebrows while showing the bottle of Vodka I found in the cabin.
“can't!” Jayke grabbed him with lightning fast makes me gawk at him this why? After putting the Vodka bottle back in the cabin she looked at me like I was caught doing mischievous her gaze was probably the same as my mother's.
“why?” I asked her to look at him strangely, his behavior like this reminded me of a figure in the past.
“can't you're not old enough!”
“you've had a drink already?!” his tan suspected his eyebrows were swooping sharply like an angry bird.
“you're acting weird to know”
“already or not” Jayke is not at all daunted, he looks at me suspiciously.
“sudah” my great-grandson was afraid to see the change in look on his face, he looked at me with a flat look.
“sit sana” orders, I'm like a buffalo in the nose puffs–according resignedly only. I twisted my finger nervously waiting for Jayke to finish cooking his ramyun.
“Alcohol is not good at least wait your age twenty to drink alcohol, I've told you love yourself why it's so difficult”
I frowned when did he ever say that to me? “When you told me” my memory floated on bring back two years ago while in Kinabalu.
Jayke turned off the stove, he lifted the pot and put it in front of me. “You reminded me of that man” muttered before opening the lid of the pot and starting to eat with the chopsticks Jayke gave me, either because I was too cool to eat or how the atmosphere was suddenly quiet I looked up to find Jayke cupping his face while looking at me.
“What?” much
“that guy, who?” the tanya folded into her two hands on the table.
“ah..” I put my chopsticks drinking water and folded my hands on the table following him, I looked at Jayke who was waiting for my answer the man seemed curious once “I don't know who” is
“why can that be?”
I wet my lips looking at Jayke who was squeaking “Can, we met on the beach by accident and I can't see his face because it's dark”
Jayke looked at me with a look I couldn't mean the man smiled broadly after her and I looked at her strangely “you apparently remembered her”
“Ha?”
“i'm so relieved, sorry for leaving you that night” he smiled broadly with his rabbit teeth and I just stupefied not being able to receive the information Jayke delivered this too suddenly and this is a scenario I never had imagine before.
“Wait first? Why can you”
“can” Jayke looks ordinary, and I was whizzing if he didn't know that I was almost crazy looking for information about that guy in Kinabalu.
“Jay explain to me” I said looking at him seriously, why can't I recognize him? Why would Jayke? How did he know it was me?
Jayke washed his lips before talking “I'm indeed your fan from the past, in Kinabalu it just so happened that I saw you taking a walk by yourself around the beach and following you” she researched my expression, she said, before returning to continue his words “look like a dream at that time how can I see you there you yes because you were my idol then but now it is still so”
She smiled, and I was moved when she recalled the title of my debut song three years ago.
Jayke can not be predicted “thank you again Jayke, thank you for always remembering me” I stretched my hand and stood up once I wanted to hug the man—like that night.
Jayke stood up to greet me, his head leaning on my shoulder. His sturdy arms coiled my waist tightly.
“I told you, no matter what happens I will be by your side” Jayke's hug hardens sending warmth that again makes me feel like home.
Jayke
Wh why? Who the hell are you?
Who are you to be able to make me like this, why should you make me depend on you like this.
“thank you Jayke” Fuck anything, I just want Jay to go where I came home two years ago now and in the future.
