Genius Child For a Cold-hearted CEO

Genius Child For a Cold-hearted CEO
Chapter 13

...Memories...

The bond of one's destiny can never be guessed. It is as if everything has been neatly arranged from the Divine. Man only goes through and through whatever is called destiny. And Irene too. The young lady who had an alluring smile could only sigh deeply. His eyes were looking far ahead. Penetrate the thick of the night. Irene was staring out her window.

The tiny house he bought by combining his money and the money that Long An earned when he won a tournament. Actually Irene was ashamed of herself as well as of Long An. She is a mother, but due to her inability to make more money. Inevitably, he used Long An's money first. However, Irene promised little by little she would return Long An's money. The money can be for Long An's education costs to a higher level.

In Irene's mind there were a lot of things. Not to mention his encounter with Rosalind. He must recall his bitter past. Irene tries not to hate Rosalind, as she believes hatred will only drop her into a deeper abyss. Irene doesn't want to live like Rosalind. A life filled with hate. Irene seemed to not know, either, what cunning Rosalind had done to her. Besides pushing him down the stairs.

While Irene was struggling with her thoughts. Suddenly a small hand clasped Irene's hand.

“Mama, it's already night. Why haven't you slept? Is mom thinking of something?” Long An asked as he rubbed his still sleepy eyes.

Instantly Irene who was wrestling with her thoughts immediately came to a realization.

“My son, are you awake? Forgive mom yes.” Irene replied as she leaned over and stroked Long An's head affectionately.

Long An shook his head.

“Why is mom sorry? I woke up because I woke up. Not my mother's fault. Is mama having any problems?” Long An asked worriedly. Seen from his face.

Irene smiled and shook her head.

“Mama doesn't have any problems. Mom just thought, tomorrow you're off school. Mama's gonna take you to meet Grandma Heera. Grandma Heera is the grandmother of uncle Dareen.” Irene answered with a warm smile.

Instantly Long An's eyes sparkled cheerfully.

“Wuaah, really? It must be fun to meet Grandma. I want to have a grandmother. Finally, An could have a grandmother.” Pekik Long An was happy while dancing.

Irene only smiled at Long An's happy behavior.

“Alright, now little dragon mama has to sleep early huh. Tomorrow morning we will pay a visit to the home of Grandma Heera.”

Long An nodded and rushed back to his room. While laughing and dancing happily because he could meet with grandma. An was very happy. Irene who watched her son's behavior. Just smiling to myself. Happiness for Irene was simple: to be able to see the laughter of her little son.

I don't feel like time is back. The sky covered in dense clouds had turned bright. The Surya again showed his power. Gives light so bright that it erodes the darkness.

In the morning, Irene and Long An were getting ready. Towards the residence of Grandma Heera. Before leaving, the two prepared souvenirs for grandma. Long An brought a bouquet of daisy flowers. Grandma Heera's favorite flower. Irene brought some cake. After all was ready, Irene and Long An boarded a public vehicle. Along the way, Long An and Irene sang together. Laugh enjoying the bustle of the Capital City. They both look happy. Enjoy being with each other. On the right left side they appear multi-storey buildings lined up. It was like a tall pillar that slammed into the sky. Through the white clouds that are moving.

After taking public transportation for a while. Irene and Long An arrived at a pretty big house. The house is terraced and painted in white. Surrounded by shady green trees. Really cool the eyes. Long An looked sparkling staring at the house that stood firmly in front of him.

“Wow, grandma's house is so big.” Said Long An amazed.

Irene smiled as she looked at the mansion standing before her. A house that reminds him of his past.

Flashbacks

“Nak, I've been looking for you everywhere.” Grandma Heera said with a sad look on her face to see Irene.

Irene stared pushyly at Grandma Heera.

“Nek, I'm really sorry to come suddenly like this.” Irene said in a soft voice.

“Say what's wrong? If there's anything I can do for you. I'll do it.” Grandma Heera answered sincerely.

“A... I need help grandma.” Irene's voice sounded clear.

“Say, what can I do for you. I'll help you as hard as I can.”

“A... I want to go far away from this city with my son.” Irene said in a stammer.

“A. I promise, little by little I will return the loan.” Irene continued with a clear voice.

Grandma Heera who saw Irene's condition felt trenchant. Watching a young girl with no parents struggling to care for her baby.

“Do not think about returning money. Whatever you need I will help you. I'll give you the money for free, as a sign of my gratitude to you. Back then, you saved me. Until you sacrifice a good job that you should be able to get.” Grandma Heera said sincerely.

Heard Grandma Heera's words. Irene felt relieved and immediately knelt down before Grandma Heera. Grandma Heera who saw Irene kneeled immediately told her to sit back down.

“Gosh son, don't kneel to me. If you want to kneel, kneel to God. God deserves it.” Grandma Heera smiled and invited Irene to sit back on the sofa. He held Irene's hand tightly.

“Thanks... Thanks grandma.” Irene thanked among her echoing sobs.

“Cry, if you want to cry. I will be your grandmother and mother who will be your seat now.” Grandma Heera said as she hugged Irene warmly. While Irene was getting drowned with her crying voice.

He was raised in an orphanage for eight years. No longer feel a mother's warm embrace. Now, in Grandma Heera's arms. Irene was able to let go of the burden she had been carrying all this time alone. At the very least, he could pass through all the burdens of life with a sense of relief because there was still someone supporting him. Even though that person has no blood ties.

End Flashback

Now, Grandma Heera was standing at her doorstep. Welcoming Irene and her little son. Grandma Heera smiled warmly staring right at Irene's teary eyes. They looked at each other inside. Irene was about to step into the embrace of Heera's grandmother who had been considered as her grandmother and mother. However, his steps came to a halt as Long An had already run and rushed towards Grandma Heera.

“Grandmother!!” Little Long An's cry splashed into the embrace of Heera's grandmother.

Little Long An hugged Grandma Heera tightly. Grandma Heera was almost overwhelmed as Long An hugged her tightly.

“Hohoho granddaughter grandma.. oh no... grandma should call you great-granddaughter.” Grandma Heera said with a big laugh.
