Chapter 82 The Truth

Shofi was silent looking at who was at the door of his apartment.

Shofi did not expect that om Farhan would come to him after one week of Amira's departure and one week of Shofi's presence in Indonesia.

"May I have some time to talk?"

Without speaking Shofi opened the door of his apartment unit and then let om Farhan in.

Farhan enters Shofi's luxurious apartment and sits on top of the shopa. Shofi makes a drink like entertaining guests.

Shofi sat in front of Farhan, long time they were silent, no conversation between them.

Shofi was reluctant to start the conversation because Shofi was confused about what to say first and so many questions that Shofi wanted to know the answer to.

"Ask what you want to ask, om know you have so many questions you want to ask?"

Said om Farhan softened unlike his firm and flat face.

"What made you do this so far?"

"I've always wondered if Mom and Aunt don't like me or if I don't know. Why go so far!"

"Before I apologize, I didn't mean to keep you away or erase you from Fatih's memory!"

Said Farhan looking at the girl his son loved so much. Even Farhan knew the extent of their relationship in Germany.

Om Farhan moved from his seat while staring at a Poto mounted on the wall.

"Five years ago I'd never seen love in Fatih's eyes unless you were the only goal. Even Fatih is willing to wait for you at the airport until the afternoon hoping that you will return. There was no disappointment and heartbreak that Fatih showed except when you left him!"

Clearly, Farhan was looking far into the past. Shofi could only keep his mouth shut not believing what Farhan said. How could Fatih have waited for him had they agreed Fatih could not do that.

It was the most terrible thing for us even my wife almost had a miscarriage due to her health drop due to thinking about Fatih!"

"Om doing all this for the good of you two. Hoping you will focus on your goals and Fatih can accept his circumstances that feel new to him. And when the time comes, your brother and I have planned all of this. Your meeting and Fatih's coming to Germany. Because om knows, you're the only person who can restore Fatih's memory when Fatih starts to wonder something is missing in her. Feeling the loss, pain and tightness Fatih tormented because of it but Fatih himself did not know what made his heart like that, the answer was only one! your bond is so great that when you feel longing then Fatih will feel that pain!"

"You must know what it's like to lose, as well as om and Aunt would not lose Fatih if you had to force Fatih to remember everything because it would endanger Fatih's own health. Speaking at length Farhan explained all what happened in the past. Very difficult time for them.

Shofi will not be strong enough to live and accept everything. Living with someone who doesn't know it feels weird and painful.

Farhan approaches Shofi and pulls Shofi into his arms. Shofi's cry grew as Farhan hugged him tightly like a father hugging his own daughter.

The first hug Farhan gave Shofi made Shofi feel like Daddy was coming back to life.

"Dad hicks!!!"

Shofi further tightened his embrace as if he was the Daddy.

Farhan stroked Shofi's hair affectionately because Farhan had considered Shofi his own son even long ago.

Slowly Farhan broke his embrace while holding onto both of Shofi's shoulders. Farhan wiped away Shofi's tears with both of his thumbs.

"Everything has passed, will you open a new page with Fatih. Don't bring up the past!"

Shofi simply nodded in response to Farhan's question.

"I'm sorry about Auntie?"

Again Shofi just nodded like a child in the advice of the father.

"Now don't cry yeah, meet Fatih she always feels guilty for everything!"

"Please promise to be happy, but Fatih's pointing at you!"

It feels like Shofi can not answer just a nod as the answer to all Farhan's words.

"Well, say goodbye first and wait for you at home before you leave for Germany!"

Farhan felt relieved after explaining everything even though it was only part of it.

Farhan was even more relieved when he saw Shofi's response which was fine not interrupting or arguing with him.

Really Shofi still can not believe what Fatih experienced. That must have been very painful.

Now Shofi understands why Farhan and his brother did it all. They are right, all because they want the best.

Now there is no reason for Shofi to be angry, disappointed, sad because everything is over.
