Chapter 31 - The curse of the heavens

The darkness of the night clung with an atmosphere so calm, the breeze that gently swept over Qing Er's cheeks that were on the edge of the window while propping up her chin while grunting roughly a few times. He turned his head towards Yuan Shi who was already resting on his big bed, then pressed his head firmly after his little debate with the Emperor.

Nemo's system went out and accompanied Qing'Er at the window, then took part in the beautiful full moon that shone in their room above her. "Do you really want to die?" ask the Suri's men.

Yun Shan only chuckled lightly then squinted sharply at the three men in front of him. "Kill it!"

"Fuck up!" one more punch struck Yun Shan's back and he fell straight onto the floor. His back was crushed and he could not even lift his own body.

"What is your relationship with the queen?" ask the man in front of her again.

"What relationship do you mean?" Yun Shan asked with the rest of his strength.

"If you still haven't admitted it, we won't hesitate anymore!" yell that guy again.

Yun Shan already had no will to defend himself, moreover his gaze now began to faint and he fell unconscious.

Before long, he felt his mouth wet and something was dripping into his mouth and throat. Yun Shan opened his eyes slowly then saw Qing Er who was there sitting down and looking at him anxiously. "Why not just say yes instead of enduring this much punch? Stop hurting yourself I won't owe you any more lives, this time I will repay you for yesterday!"

Yun Shan grinned with the rest of his strength. "The queen need not feel indebted, it is my duty to protect the queen who has been slandered."

"Currently, don't be so strong! I will not let this pain of yours go to waste I will definitely repay them ten times for what they have done today!" Qing Er then gave Yuan Shi a round object that looked like an egg. "Save this and use it in a critical situation tomorrow!"

The next morning, a commotion had already sounded to the corners of the palace that Yun Shan had admitted that he was in contact with Qing' Er. Their eyes rounded as Qing 'Er brandished her sword to the sky and asked for the punishment of the heavens for her impostors and slanderers.

All focus was now diverted from Yun Shan, he smirked in satisfaction at it. Yun Shan had already prepared to destroy an egg that Qing Er had given him last night. After a rumble rang out, cloudless clouds began to approach enveloping Qing Er. Scaring anyone and running away from the stage where Yun Shan was.

Moreover, the Queen Mother and Wu Zetian did not escape the fear of the punishment of the heavens for what they had done. Yuan Shi stood up and looked at Qing Er with shock, Su Mian's red eyes dominating Qing Er's body. Linking an innocent person to this and forcing him to admit something he did not do. Everyone else simultaneously gathered before Qing' Er except for the Empress Dowager, Wu Zetian and Yuan Shi. "Please forgive us, Her Majesty the Queen!"

One of the soldiers then finds a mercenary provocateur who has accused Qing' Er and Yun Shan of conspiring to harm the emperor with magic. It was all done by Yuan Shi secretly to prove the innocence of Qing Er. The provocateur was raised onto a small stage that Yun Shan had worn before.

The man crawled to Qing' Er's feet and begged for her forgiveness. "Please forgive me, Queen. The servant did this by order of the Queen Mother, he threatened the servant with the life of his wife and son so that he could not refuse."

"Please!" the Queen Mother Protest.

Wu Zetian who did not wish to interfere in this profound matter instantly broke away from the Queen Mother.

"Wu Zetian?" the Queen Mother asked with a surprised look.
