Chapter 8: The Bulletline

"Talk about the evidence, you can tell from which informant? You never told me before?" Ask Zetta to be confused.

"Shhh... Just shut the fuck up! Let no one hear this! This is just to teach a lesson to the sniper we hired earlier." Emma said in a loud voice

"I still don't understand!" Zetta still can't digest Emma's talk.

"It's all just engineering. The service from him was not satisfactory at all. I was planning to get him caught. And this is the bullet casing used by him." Clarify from Emma while giving away the bullet casings.

"So I totally agree with your plan!" Reply Zetta.

"And if we can dismantle and capture him, then we will definitely be flattered by everyone!" Emma said with stars in her eyes.

"Hadeh, none of the talk came to my mind. He said that the real mastermind was a sniper? And the bullet casings he found also looked like solid evidence. But the question is how can a sniper eliminate a dead body in an instant?" In my mind.

"I should have asked him everything I didn't understand before he left. It was Yasudah, most importantly the plan this time was not as fateful as before." Say it while breathing.

After clearing the meeting room, I went straight home to prepare for tomorrow.

The originally calm and peaceful snow had now changed. Without any warning, there came a blizzard that was quite strong. I decided to take shelter while waiting for the blizzard to stop.

"The cafe looks interesting. Did I stay there, huh? Ah.. think too much!" My mind while running towards a cafe.

When I opened the wooden door covered in a beautiful flower decoration, I was given a warm welcome by a servant.

"Welcome to Evanora's Cafe!" Said the servant girl with a cheerful smile.

"Eh...? Yukki's? What's here?" I'm the dumbfounded one.

"Eh...? Alex? Why are you here too?" Yukki also did not escape with surprise.

"T-t-of course I'm here as a consumer. D-d-and the storm is still raging out there, so I can take shelter here right?" I don't know why I suddenly became nervous.

"Ah.. hahaha, then just come in here." Yukki said looking awkward.

After I entered, Yukki led me to an empty chair.

"You're here to order food, right? What do you want to order?" Ask Yukki who is ready to write down my order.

"I'm not hungry, but I just want black coffee." Answer me.

"That's all? No other additions?" Ask Yukki once again.

"And not much sugar." Answer me.

"Oh.okay." Yukki said in an awkward tone.

Shortly after, my order finally arrived. At this moment, I felt that I was resting, releasing all the burdens of the mind. And do not forget to sip black coffee adds comfort. I couldn't get my eyes out of the window, seeing the snow falling fast.

"Who's enjoying his black coffee, want some twilight?" Yukki said that ruined the atmosphere.

"How do you think the coffee is?" Ask Yukki while sitting down to an empty spot.

"It's good, until I get carried away." Answer me while sipping coffee.

"Thank God, you like it. I'm happy too." Yukki said with a sweet smile.

When she smiled, I remembered the late Eryka.

"Alex....? You okay?" Ask Yukki who saw me freeze as a statue.

"Ah... It's okay! I got carried away again." Answer me nervously.

"You look like you're just seeing a ghost. If there's a problem, you can tell me. I'm willing to be a listener." Yukki.

"..."

"So, are you no stranger to bullet casings like this?" I asked by showing evidence.

"Brruuuuuhu...!" Yukki who spouted water on my face after seeing the thing I showed.

"Eh uh. sorry, sorry. I didn't mean that." Yukki said while cleaning my face with a small handkerchief.

"So... Where was it? Oh yea.... Alex! I'm warning you not to deal with the owner of the bullet casing!" Yukki's expression suddenly turned into panic

"What's really going on? To solve this case I need to find out who owns the dangerous thing." I said in a relaxed tone.

"Anyway no! I repeat again! Don't find out who did it! If you don't want to be fucked!" Yukki's expression grew increasingly panicked and worried.

"I'm not scared! I still have a responsibility to solve this case!" I started raising my voice volume.

"You're so stubborn, Alex!" Yukki who was getting tired warned me.

"It's my business, so I'm all at risk. Rather than you warning me many times without any results, it would be nice for you to tell me the information about the sniper!" My speech.

"Huh...! Alright.... He has many nicknames. However, the most revealing was "Witch Hunters". As the name implies, her favorite target is a witch. Many young to old witches were slaughtered one by one by him, so the witches were afraid to show his existence. Regardless of what he did, every time a bullet hit a witch, the corpse of the witch instantly vanished without a trace! He may have killed many of the victims but there is no valid proof..." Yukki told me everything about the sniper I was looking for.

"So, he's been the culprit all along."

"That's why I'm worried about you. I don't want you to die in vain!" Yukki said in a sad tone.

"I know, though, that I too am afraid of death. However, on the other hand I must avenge the sniper who killed my lover. And I'm sure that Witch Hunters are the same person." I said with my head down.

"..."

Then the silence came to the moment...

"Oh... The snow storm is gone. For now that's all I can talk about. Time has shown at 9pm, and it's time for me to go!" Goodbye to Yukki.

"Wait...!!" Yukki Shouts.

"What's wrong? I won't change my mind even if you warn me a thousand times!" I said with my finished drink.

"If you really want revenge, then you should need someone who knows where it is." Yukki said with a serious face.

"Who? It'll take a long time if I have to find out that guy!" My speech.

"Of course I am, stupid! You will need more time... No!... You'll never find it if you work alone!" Upset Yukki.

"I don't work alone! I have a partner to help me with at all times, and do you want to help me?" I asked Yukki.

"I'll help you. This only minimizes your death ratio." Reply Yukki in a pretty slow voice

"Huh...? What did you say?" I asked again because I was not focused.

"Ah...no, no, forget it! I just said I wanted to help you." Yukki said in a panic while urinating.

"Ah... Alright. Please help!" I said while pointing my hand at Yukki

"Please help!" Yukki replied with a shaman.
