Chapter 4: The Lost Member

I called my boss to let him know that I was going to be active again at VGD.

"For now I've recovered, so tomorrow I'll be actively working and will solve yesterday's case as soon as possible."

All the documents I searched one by one. Not to forget I searched the entire corner of this room. Damn I didn't get anything, all I got was a messy room.

"Aaaargh... Where else would I look for him? Or not in the attic?" My words speak to myself.

The attic right above this room I started to open the door and came up with a folding ladder. I climbed up the stairs and hoped to find something I was looking for.

For 20 minutes, I checked the contents of the cardboard one by one. Until I found a cardboard box at the very end that says someone's name. "Julian" is the name on this cardboard. I was curious to open it.

I found all sorts of things, like shoes, hats, knives, etc. What makes me curious is the existence of a diary book. On the cover of the book is clearly written "Diary friendship". I hesitated to read it because it was a diary. Having no other choice, I opened the book and started reading.

After reading the diary for a long time.

"Hmm. How could he just disappear without any evidence at all? I have to ask the old man." I said as I went with the diary.

"Yes, tell me what you want to ask!"

"Does your Majesty know about this book?" I asked while submitting a diary book.

"Hohoho, I don't know about this book. Where did you find this book?" Said the King in sweat.

"I accidentally found him. I found it in the attic of VGD's office." Answer me who feels strange with the behavior of the King.

The King was silent, not saying a word.

"From your behavior, it appears that you are hiding something from me. Is that true, your majesty?" I said that I suspected the King.

"Well.huh..that's where I might lie to you, Alex." Says the King who stammered.

"lik! You lied! Please tell me what really happened!" My words with high notes.

"Ah.. This is Alex's son..."

Before he finished his words, I broke through immediately while carrying a folding knife from my pocket. It was obvious that I was behind him while threatening him with a knife. The others did not stay silent, trying to stop me.

"What are you doing, Alex? Drop your weapons now!" Jameson the King's advisor.

"Nobody move! If you want this king to survive! Everybody put down your guns!" I responded with a threat.

The situation started to heat up because of what I had done. Everyone had no choice but to put down their weapons and just shut up.

"Good! Tell me everything that happened in that book! Hurry along! If no one wants to, I'll cut the King's throat!" Shouted once more from me.

"Okay... well, I'll tell you everything!" Said the King's adviser.

At that time the paladins saved a royal princess from the pursuit of a ferocious demon. Even though the snow storm was approaching, they still never gave up on returning the princess. "I'm fine. In the future I want you to find the boy, make him a fugitive. At worst, I'll give you a reward if anyone can kill him. Announce all these things to all my people! Hurry up, right now!" The wrath of the King.

"Okay, your honor." Answer Jameson.
