Chapter 31 - Continuing the Journey

Alalea closed the door of her room slowly, she leaned on the door while looking at the ceiling blankly. His daydream suddenly broke when he heard a knock from the window of his room.

He walked slowly closer to the window, at first he looked hesitant because he thought that he had just misheard. But the doubt soon disappeared after he heard the knock once more.

Alalea quickly opened the window and threw a careful glance around the veranda of her room, she caught a glimpse of the robes from the person who had just left the place.

Alalea raised her eyebrows when she saw this, as she was about to close the window again. His movements stopped because he saw something that should not be there, a beautiful vase of bluish flowers seemed to have been waiting for him there.

The vase contained azalea flowers that seemed to have just been picked, and Alalea tried to lift the vase. How surprised he was when he touched the vase.

"Cold down! Is this thing made of ice?" alalea couldn't believe it.

Again he tried to lift it more carefully. It was then that he realized that the vase was overlapping a parchment, that Alalea immediately took the parchment and read the contents in a slow whisper.

I just want to apologize for all the things I've done while I've been here, sorry for always bothering you. I never really meant to do it, and I'm also sorry for always irritating you (although I honestly don't understand why you're always upset when you look at me).

But you don't have to worry, tomorrow me and Rena are leaving. So you can rest easy now, this flower vase is my apology gift. I made it myself, hope you like it. See you soon, cousin! (even though I know you might not expect us to see each other again) hahaha.

Alalea folded the parchment and squeezed it firmly, with both hands she clasped the parchment to her chest while saying in a tone of voice.

"How can I possibly calm down, when I know you're leaving. You idiot!"

Arya was humming softly while putting her luggage outside the Eridan house, the morning was very sunny and according to her it was indeed the ideal weather to continue the journey.

He checked the items once more, afraid that there were important items left behind, a while later Rena also appeared from inside the house with luggage that was not less than what Arya had brought.

Arya immediately helped him, because if not immediately assisted Rena looks will drop the luggage.

"Mmmm....Rena's? What if I just take him?" arya asked as she pointed at a 1.5-meter-long brown cloth.

"E.e..eh?! ta..but kan--"

"It's okay, I can't possibly let you carry such a heavy item alone" Arya assured him.

"Ba.ba..be good then" Rena replied as she nodded slowly.

Arya directly moved the brown cloth to the luggage section, the brown cloth contained a branch of the Hellig tree, an item that they could painstakingly finally get. And arguably as the main reason they came to this place.

Rena is very happy when Arya shows the branch of the tree is solid, even Arya is sure if Eridan is not in that place. Rena would soon embrace him as tightly as she could, but the truth is she did. Although in the end he released his embrace on Arya with a face as red as a tomato.

Today the two of them will soon continue on their way, and from what he heard. They will be escorted to the border directly by Queen Diana, although Arya said it was not necessary. But if the Queen had said so, what could she have.

"Are you guys done?" ask Eridan who just came out the door.

"As you can see" Arya replied while tying up some wooden branches.

"I'm curious too" added Rena.

"This? Just in case" Arya replied in passing.

Eridan was seen biting his lower lip, he looked unsettled. Finally he asked quietly enough that only Arya and Rena could hear him.

"Are you sure you're going?" whispered Eridan carefully.

Arya and Rena stared at each other for a while, then replied along with a tone of voice full of "Sure" confidence"

"Can't you guys--"

"Can't be Eridan, you should be the one who knows the most that we still have exams to complete" Arya cut immediately.

Eridan seemed to disagree, but he just kept quiet while nodding slowly.

"Just calm down, we'll meet again soon. And promise me that when it comes, you must become stronger than you are now" Arya said while holding Eridan's shoulder.

Eridan rubbed his eyes, then nodded solemnly while saying "Surely! When we meet again, I promise to be the greatest strategist in the world!"

"When are you going to lie there?" azalea asked while tidying her hair in front of the mirror.

Alalea who lay on her stomach in bed did not care about the question from her mother, she had done it for about an hour. Without making any sound.

"Hey! People can assume you're dead if you keep acting like that princess" Azalea tried again.

Alalea just groaned softly in response to Azalea's statement, she was not wanting to argue with her mother. Azalea with her wooden chair immediately approached the bed and gently stroked Alalea's head.

"You sure you don't want to take her?" ask Azalea again.

Alalea did not respond, she had been silent a thousand languages since arriving at that place. Azalea then let out a long sigh while heading towards the door.

"I hope you won't regret it, he'll leave and maybe you won't meet again. Love is a strange feeling, right? You don't understand what's going on with you when you experience it" Azalea said softly and then opened the door with a loud creaking sound.

Unexpectedly, after hearing those words Alalea retorted softly.

"I don't deserve him, after all that I---"

"Your gap will be considered perfect by a heart that is destined for you" Azalea cut down quickly while closing the door slowly.

Alalea got up from the bed, she stared blankly at the window as if she was deciding something very important.

As Arya guessed, it turns out that the group that drove them very much and lively. It made her and Rena feel uncomfortable. It was not only Diana, Azalea, Eridan, and Reiss who drove them away at that time.

Many other Elves also joined the group after seeing Arya and Rena, but even so. There were also some Elves who were looking at them cynically while smiling mockingly looking at their departure.

It seemed that many disliked Diana's decision to cooperate with Pax and the change in treatment of the Dwarves. And what caused the two things to happen was none other than Arya herself, Arya could feel that unhappy gaze from them.

But it was inversely proportional to the Dwarves in Fairy Forest, they waved with passion and respect to Arya and Rena. Arya could see Stmmig and Klug in front, Arya just smiled and returned their respect.

"Well, judging from his nature, he will not say goodbye to me" Arya said slowly.

But his premonition was proven wrong a few minutes later, Arya saw Uil with blue eyes perched on one of the trees watching him without blinking an inch. Arya immediately smiled and waved at Uil, she also gave her last salute before leaving.

Finally they reached the border between the Fairy Forest and the Neutral Region, Rena immediately thanked and said goodbye to the others. He crossed the border first than Arya.

Arya gave a smile for the last time to Diana, Azalea, and the others. Then he steadily stepped out of the territory-limiting magic. His body then gave off a dazzling light and he could feel his body returning to its original form.

The Elves who saw that were just silently dumbstruck, it was the first time they saw the form of Aryan Man. Indeed, they are used to seeing Rena in the form of Man, but seeing Arya in this form leaves a different impression in their eyes.

"Wait on! Somebody wants me to ka---"

Alalea then fell silent, the response she showed was not much different from the others after seeing the form of Aryan Man.

"What's the matter Princess?" arya asked while tilting her head.

"A.a.a.a-.i-i---"

"M....?"

"Ngh....Agh...I can't take it anymore! I can't say it" Alalea exclaimed then immediately stepped out of the border.

"Eh--"

Alalea immediately pulled Arya's hand and kissed her lips slowly, the incident happened and ended very quickly. Alalea then immediately moved away from him with a reddened face, and somehow even though the incident happened very quickly, Arya felt that when their lips met time seemed to stop for a while.

Arya immediately moved away while covering her lips with the back of her hand, her face was no less red with Alalea. He spoke in a stammering voice.

"Fruit fragrance lem----bu..bu.not that I mean----A.ap.what's your-I..i...it.it's my first kiss!" arya shouted in disbelief.

"I.it.it was also my first kiss! So we're even!" reply Alalea without daring to look towards Arya.

"Impas how--"

As Arya and Alalea's debate looks to be getting bigger, Diana approaches them soon. He was the only person who had recovered from the shock of the incident just now. Diana immediately stopped the dispute between her two grandchildren.

"Arya, I want to talk about your engagement" Diana said in seriousness.

"Huh?! That thing again? Isn't that role-playing over? Alalea wouldn't agree. Aye?"

"I'm ready" said Alalea, puffing her cheek.

"APUA!? WHY?!"

Arya looked at Alalea with a look of disbelief, meanwhile Diana just raised her next eyebrow in not expecting Alalea to be that easy agreeing to the engagement she had desperately refused earlier.

"You make me happy in a way that no one else can"

Arya let out a long breath while closing her eyes. To be honest his heart had been beating faster since the kiss Alalea gave. But this is not the right time for things like this.

Seeing that Diana immediately added.

"How about this, because the Elves and Pax races have agreed to cooperate. I will send Alalea as the representative of the Elves to Elemental City"

"Well?!" there was a cry of disbelief from everyone who heard this.

Diana paid him no heed and continued leisurely, as if not hearing the astonished cries of the others.

"So you can be with Alalea, you don't have to break off this engagement immediately. There's no compulsion, and after you two have been together long enough. You can decide whether or not to accept this engagement"

Arya seemed to think for quite a while, somehow this engagement felt could have been a bridge between the Elves and Humans. He scratched his head in annoyance then said.

"Alright, let's do as grandma says"

Diana then smiled and returned to her place, Alalea also looked happy to hear that. Arya who was about to go saw Alalea once more.

"Kemari" called.

Alalea who looked confused immediately approached, Arya took out something from her waist bag. He pulled out a blue scarf and put it on Alalea's neck.

"It's not fair that you're the only one who gave me something, take it. I sewed it myself in Aunt Azalea's place, I thought the color would match your eyes"

Alalea grasped the scarf slowly, she could feel the warmth of the thing. He smiled while whispering.

"Thank you"

"Sama-sama, and make sure you look after her until we meet again in Elemental City" Arya replied as she immediately turned around and stepped near Rena.

Both of them gave a final wave to everyone, Arya immediately gave their coordinates along with the coordinates of the place they were going to next through a communication tool.

The two of them immediately held hands, then Arya felt the sensation of her body being sucked into a hole. Then slowly the image of the Fairy Forest disappeared from his sight.

A short-haired Elf in all-white clothes entered a dark room, there was only a candle that was the source of illumination in that place. The elf immediately set up a magic formation with his hands to lock the room.

"The boy is gone" he said.

"Are you sure Razel?"

"Sure, I saw it with my own eyes. Why do you always doubt me Regulus? if you continue like that you'd better do everything yourself" Razel said.

"What's wrong with making sure" Regulus replied in an equally regrettable tone of voice.

"It's been the two of you" another soothing voice sounded.

"You're too relaxed Alba!" they both snatched at the same time.

"Eh.." Erang Alba was tired.

"Stop bothering yourself to caress them Alba"

"It looks like what you said is correct, Falxus" Alba said while nodding.

"How come you're that calm after slashing your own brother's hand?" regulus's comments suddenly.

"He will understand, this is all for our plan" Falxus said.

"You're too cruel and cold as ever, Falxus"

"See who's talking? But I never thought the plan you made would fail Orion" Falxus replied coldly.

"Hehehe that way, my plan failed because it did not take into account the appearance of those Elementalist brats and because of the slight disturbance from my sweet little sister. That's why we're gathered here to make plan B" Orion said calmly.

"You look pretty calm, to the guy whose plan just failed. Though it has been prepared for many years" said Regulus.

"Of course, with this incident we managed to figure out the movements of the Elementalists. Taking that information into account, my next plan will definitely never fail" Orion replied confidently.

"Then? What about the distractions from your little sister?" ask Audax while chuckling.

"mmm? Why would you ask such a clear thing? Of course I will kill him with my own hands if he dares to intrude" Orion said softly with a smile.

"Bmr.....Aryans? Where are we really now?" asked Rena with teeth rustling with coldness.

"Ahh...I'm sorry, I never told you where we're going to find my Elemental Weapon?"

Rena simply nodded as she continued to hug both of her hands tightly, the sudden change in temperature made her body startled.

Arya immediately took off her coat and put it on Rena who kept shivering in the cold. Rena immediately thanked me and asked again.

"So? Where's this?"

"North Pole" said Arya relaxed.

"Oh....we're in pole-EH?! NORTH POLE?!"
