Chapter 23 - The Pursuit

Ella looks down at the exit where Sheilla and Grayson left. After they left, some people came out of their hiding places and approached him. They wear maid clothes with a futuristic design that is so distinctive.

“Are you aware of what you're doing?” one of the men among them who was wearing the maid clothes looked at her with a face of disbelief. He seemed a little annoyed by what Ella had just done. Previously, they had all been there since then, coming to help Ella. In fact, they all listened to the whole conversation between Ella and Sheilla and Grayson.

“I know this indirectly unlocks my true identity. But I can't stay silent while I know the person I have to look after is in danger. They should also know that their child is currently in need of help.”

“I hope you're ready for what you'll face later!” The man glared with an annoyed face towards him.

They all left the house after they confirmed Sheilla and Grayson's house was locked safely.

Sheilla keeps trying to reach Kenneth who still doesn't answer his phone. He had to ask the whereabouts of the man who was his sister and ask for an explanation from her. “Argghhh!”

“He still didn't answer?” ask Grayson who occasionally turns to look at him. Sheilla just shook her head slowly.

“Ken did not answer his phone at all. How'this? What if it turns out that what Ella said is true?”

“Quiet? How could I possibly be calm when I knew my son was in danger? Aren't you worried about something happening with James? Remember, he is your son too!” Sheilla looked at him with an annoyed face. In the midst of his current situation, he could be even more sensitive. Although actually without this situation, he remains sensitive especially when he is with Grayson.

“I'm also anxious, but if we panic the situation will be complicated, and it will hinder our efforts to find James. Therefore I ask you to calm down!”

“I won't be able to calm down before I make sure my son's condition is fine!” Sheilla looked at him fiercely.
