Chapter 50's

The sun was already rising to the west, indicating that it was already late afternoon. Our partner is now on the road. Seok Gwan will drive Hyun-ri home first, before he returns home to the mansion and prepares for dinner at the Han Mansion.

"Oh.. This is not the way to the mansion, have you forgotten the way back to the mansion, oppa?" hyun-ri asks a little confused as Seok Gwan takes another unidirectional path towards the mansion.

"I want to take you for a walk" replied Seok Gwan,

"Walk? Where's where?"

"Till in a minute."

Seok Gwan also increased his speed to quickly reach his destination. He occasionally glances at Hyun-ri who keeps looking at his ring finger that has been embedded in the gift ring from him and it makes Seok Gwan smile knot.

"Is there still no word on Gun-yo's whereabouts?" ask Seo Yoon to Hwan-ki.

"Not yet." answered Hwan-ki briefly.

While chatting in Hwan-ki's study, Seo Yoon stops by Hwan-ki's company to say hello and chat before attending Jong-un's dinner, appa Hyun-ri's.

"Actually where's Gun-yo? We've been looking for him for 3 months, but there's no clue at all about his whereabouts" Seo Yoon said.

"So, he's very good at hiding" replied flatly Hwan-ki.

"Is he dead?"

"No way." replied Hwan-ki.

"That's possible. Didn't you ever say that when Gun-yo was attacked by one of our subordinates and got a stab wound." Seo Yoon explained.

"The stab wound he got wasn't so deep that it made him die."

"But it could be a spike, he lost a lot of blood from not getting treatment. We've even searched all the hospitals and small clinics in Busan to find him, but they don't accept patients with puncture wounds. So, maybe he was dead that night" explains Seo Yoon Long.

Hwan-ki sighed harshly and closed his eyes for a moment after hearing Seo Yoon's long speech.

"Did you think Gun-yo was such a fool that he chose to die silly from that little prick?" hwan-ki asks, "Stop thinking like that. I'm sure he's alive and hiding somewhere."

"Hm, yeah. He's too smart, so we can't find him until now" Seo Yoon replied lazily.

"I'm sure he'll come out of hiding, to find out the state of his eomma."

In other places there is a figure of a man who smiled thinly standing by a small window while enjoying coffee in the afternoon.

"Of course, I'll see you soon" she said softly, "The Gun-yo you're looking for will come alone to meet you." he continued.

Yes, Gun-yo is the figure of the man. He had heard all the conversations between Hwan-ki and Seo Yoon through the earphones he was wearing. How could? Because Gun-yo has installed a bugging device in Hwan-ki's room, so he can hear all the conversations Hwan-ki and Seo Yoon have.

Not only in Hwan-ki's room, he also installed tappers in Seok Gwan's workspace, Hyun-ri, Seo Yoon, and also in the Han family's residence.

"Garden?" hyun-ri said as the car that Seok Gwan was driving stopped in the park parking area.

"Yes, I want to take you for an afternoon walk in the park." replied Seok Gwan with a knotty smile, "Come on."

Hyun-ri just smiles thinly and gets off the car following Seok Gwan who has gone down first.

Seok Gwan holds Hyun-ri's hand, taking her for a walk in the park.

"Why did you suddenly bring me here?" hyun-ri asks, "Tumben once." Hyun-ri continues.

"See, seeing the sunny afternoon weather, I want to take you for a walk in the park while holding hands like this" replied Seok Gwan increasingly tightened his grip.

"Hm, you're right. The weather's perfect for a walk in the park."

The two of them walked slowly towards the middle of the park with their hands still together. Until they stopped at one of the empty garden chairs.

"Sit here first, I want to buy ice cream" said Seok Gwan.

"Es cream?"

"Yes. Wait, I'll be right back."

Seok Gwan leaves Hyun-ri who is already sitting pretty on the park chair. He buys ice cream at an ice cream shop not far from where Hyun-ri is sitting.

"It looks like Seok Gwan oppa is possessed by a romantic ghost." Hyun-ri muttered with a small laugh seeing Seok Gwan queuing up while buying ice cream.

15 Minutes later, Seok Gwan returns with 2cone ice cream in his hand. One chocolate flavor and one mint flavor.

"2 ice creams? You want me to finish 2 of these ice creams at once, oppa?" hyun-ri asks as Seok Gwan is already standing before her.

"It's for you and it's for me." Seok Gwan replied by thrusting chocolate ice cream at Hyun-ri.

"You eat ice cream? Since when do you like to eat ice cream? Unusually." Hyun-ri asks in surprise and receives her ice cream.

"It tastes mint, so it's not too sweet" replied Seok Gwan flatly.

Hyun-ri just smiles and immediately enjoys her ice cream, with occasional glances at Seok Gwan sitting next to her, who is enjoying his ice cream as well.

"Don't keep glancing at me, I know I'm handsome" said Seok Gwan flatly without seeing Hyun-ri.

"Currently, you're overconfident" Hyun-ri said, refocusing on the ice cream. Till..

Grep..

Cup...

Seok Gwan pulls Hyun-ri on the nape and immediately kisses Hyun-ri's lips, which are left with ice cream.

"Your love is handsome. And, hmm it turns out that chocolate ice cream is good too." replied Seok Gwan with a handsome smile after peeping Hyun-ri's lips.

"Oppa, why did you kiss me? There are a lot of people here. Haish.." said Hyun-ri with shamed cheeks and Seok Gwan could only laugh a little.

The clock is showing at 7pm, it's time for dinner to start. Both Hyun-ri's parents and her three best friends are already at the dinner table. They were enjoying a meal on the table with a little casual talk.

Seok Gwan put his cutlery on the table after the food on his plate was left a little. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"Appa. There's something important I want to tell you" said Seok Gwan.

Hyun-ri who heard that was suddenly immediately nervous to make her throat dry.
