At night in a small hut in the middle of the forest, Azril was teaching Arcas to make potions whose eyes were half sleepy.

It's been about 1 Week Arcas lived with Azril. Their days passed as usual. Morning to day learning basic magic, day to evening learning to sword, and night learning about knowledge.

In just a few days, Arcas has managed to master several magic and sword techniques with ease. Though usually children his age will take more than a month to be able to learn it and 2 months to really master it.

Although Arcas easy to learn, but Azril did not reduce the portion of his training at all, there he instead added more exercises.

As at this time, the head of Arcas has been uprooted several times, because it is so heavy to withstand drowsiness. While both hands must carefully sort out the herbal ingredients that will be made into herbs. Since one had mistakenly inserted the ingredients, then the potion would fail and he would have to repeat it from the beginning.

"Grandfather, when can I sleep?" Arcas asked Azril who was sitting on the chair before him.

"Finish your duty first" Azril said, "the herb will be sold to the market, so there should be no mistake." Further.

"Huff.. okay." Arcas sighed resignedly without knowing what kind of potion he actually made, and from just now only got 2 glass bottles.

After getting the third bottle, he was finally allowed to rest by Azril because the next day they had to go to the market early in the morning to sell goods and buy groceries.

Next day. Azril and Arcas had already walked out of the forest wearing white hooded robes that covered their heads making them difficult to recognize.

They continued to walk out of the forest without any disturbance at all, even though the forest looked creepy. Until they finally arrived in the city, and easily passed through the guards.

Arcas has also been commemorated by Azril, willing under no circumstances to open the hood of his head. First they went to the guild to sell potions, and after that the market bought groceries.

"PATH THE WAY TO YOUR MAJESTY!!" There was the cry of a soldier riding on a horse, along with a horse-drawn carriage.

Everyone immediately pulled over to the side of the road while bowing half their bodies, except Azril. He hid Arcas behind his tall body as if he did not want the royal people to see Arcas.

Of course Azril who did not want to salute get a clash from the soldier. He stopped in front of Azril while pointing his sword at Azril's shoulder threateningly. "How dare you disrespect His Majesty the King!" Said the soldier.

Azril silently did not reply, and no one saw him smiling obliquely behind his hood.

The horse-drawn carriage carrying the king also stopped and opened its windows. So it looks like a man with hair and a golden-blonde brackets and a crown on his head.

The king opened his voice, "Don't think of him, we should leave immediately!" Her speech. And Azril could feel that Arcas clasping his back robe was getting tighter with hands that were trembling like fear.

The soldier who heard the voice of his king just now immediately pulled his sword back from the top of Azril's shoulders. With a cynical look he said, "you're lucky this time." He again drove his horse back to walk followed by the king's horse carriage.

Azril held Arcas' hand and immediately took him away to the opposite direction of the king's entourage. Until suddenly he stopped near a narrow alley because he saw the endless Arcas trembling in fear like having a heavy trauma when he heard the voice of the king earlier.

Azril took him inside the alley and crouched down in front of him while holding both of his hands and looking at his gloomy facial expression with eyes portraying an overwhelming fear. "Have no fear, your father is no longer here." Azril.

"N-no! He's not my father! I don't have a father!" Denied Arcas bowing his head with his shaky eyes.

'It looks like this child is still traumatized by his father's treatment, ' Azril inner. "All right, let's just go back. Hold hands!" His words decided not to discuss his father anymore, because it would certainly make Arcas again remember his father's treatment that would raise the aura of destruction again in his body.

Arcas obeyed and held Azril's hand. Azril then cast a spell, and suddenly they disappeared in the alley without a trace. Then the two of them reappeared inside the forest the road to his hut.

Arcas was astonished to see and feel the teleportation magic Azril used, because at any rate it was heard from people that teleportation magic was extinct, and only magic masters could use it.

"Grandfather! Grandpa! Is grandfather a magic master?!" Exciting Arcas jumped up and down in front of Azril with a look of admiration and enthusiasm.

"No, I'm just a regular witch." Answer Azril walked first.

Arcas ran after Azril, "grandfather! Will I also be able to magic like grandfather!" He jumped around in excitement around Azril.

"Yes, if you study hard." Azril shook his head to see that Arcas who had been moody was now hyperactive again.

They continued walking with the dappled Arcas because they asked a lot, but Azril patiently answered all his questions because he knew the little boy was curious.

After that they returned through the days as usual, and if going to the city, as much as possible Azril avoided meeting with the royal people because Arcas was still traumatized.

Day by day passed. Arcas slowly opened on Azril. He gradually told me about the past when he was still in the kingdom.

It turns out that Arcas was the son of the queen along with the king in the kingdom. But when the queen gave birth to Arcas, she died, so the king blamed Arcas as the unlucky child.

The king had several concubines as well as the children of his concubines, and every day Arcas had to get a bundle from them. Whether it is physical violence such as being severely beaten or mental violence such as defaming him so that he is blamed by his own biological father, and getting punished by being locked in the basement with his hands and feet chained, and torture every day.

Because of his hatred of the royal people in Arcas, he even considered and treated Arcas lower than the homeless. Until one day Arcas never got out of control and accidentally killed one of the concubine's children so he got a heavier punishment every day, and the king announced to his people that Arcas was not a member of the kingdom or his biological son, so that the people also ostracized him.

Azril asked, "do you hold a grudge against them?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Do you want to avenge one day?"

"Yes,"

"the kingdom will be destroyed one day."

"HAHAHA.." Why did Azril suddenly laugh. "How old are you now?" Further asked.

"No idea, I don't know when my birthday is either." Answer.

"Haishh...did no one ever tell you?" Azril asked again and was answered by Arcas.

"really?" Arcas asked answered a nod by Azril. "Thank you grandpa! I'm so glad I finally have a birthday like any other kid." Arcas hugged Azril because he was so happy. Azril smiled as he ruffled Arcas' hair.

"I have a gift for you" Azril took out a long object wrapped in cloth. "Because you've been good with the sword, so take this."

Arcas opened the covering and saw a beautiful sword with black fruit.

"Is this a real sword? Why is the blade black?" Ask Arcas.

"Of course a real sword. The blade is black because it uses a metal of choice that adapts to your element so that it doesn't break easily." Answer Azril.

"Ohhh so..Why after this can I fight a real monster!?" Arcas Seru.

"No, wait for you to master some swordsmanship again." Azril. "It's late, get some sleep!" Tell yes.

"Hufft.. alright." Arcas walked around with his sword just now.

In his chair Azril looked out the window of the house staring at the whole moon that was shining very bright or what is often called the full moon.

Day after day passed, the relationship between Arcas and Azril also grew closer. He was like his own grandfather and grandson.

A year passed, and tomorrow was Arcas' birthday. But the night Arcas came home after hunting, he didn't get anyone in the hut. Even circling and searching around the forest, Arcas did not see Azril at all.

Arcas thought Azril might not have come back from the city, because he said there was something in town. So Arcas decided to sleep because he could not wait for his birthday tomorrow.

But when the next day arrived, from morning until noon Azril had not returned. Arcas thought, is it possible that his grandfather got into trouble in the city? All the negative thoughts began to enter his head fearing Azril in trouble. Arcas decided to go to the city, although Azril forbade him to go to the city alone.

As usual, Arcas wore his cloak and carried the sword that Azril had given him at the time.

When he arrived at the guard post, Arcas was told to open his hood, even though if with Azril, they were never checked at all.

Arcas resolutely refused, but the guard soldiers forcefully opened the hood so that the familiar face was exposed in their eyes.

"What's? This damn bearer isn't dead yet?!" Said one of the soldiers.

"Hurry and catch him!" Shouted one more.

The shocked Arcas also reflexively killed them in a single swing of the sword. It was the first time Arcas had seen so many corpses with severed heads before his eyes. Not trembling, but he instead looked happy like there was a fresh feeling flowing throughout his body when killing.

Other soldiers began to arrive hearing the sound of warning sirens. They besieged Arcas without giving him a way out, and immediately launched their combined attack to fight and capture Arcas.

But then again, with just a few sword techniques alone, Arcas easily slashed at them all. Until finally came the strongest people from the kingdom to help fight Arcas.

Not only one strong person, but dozens of strong people who came one by one against Arcas. The conscious Arcas will not win against them at the same time intend to escape, but unfortunately the speed and strength have not been equal to those people so that Arcas was caught and brought to the king.

The king decided that Arcas was a royal rebel and should be put to death, by being beheaded alive in the middle of the city square so that the public could witness it.

A child who is only 8 years old can not do anything, because he is in a chain with a magical chain that absorbs energy and mana.

There was no face of pity from everyone when he saw that a little boy would be beheaded under the Guillotine with a sharp knife just above his neck.

Right now Arcas was like a person who truly had no hope. His gaze was blank and in his heart was filled with regret because he did not obey what his grandfather said. And even Arcas had not had time to return the favor to his grandfather, seeing the faces of the people who witnessed it really made him sick. They smiled as if they were watching the entertainment above the suffering of others.

From birth he only once got affection, namely from Azril. In his heart he repeatedly apologized to his grandfather who had given him an education and also a birthday.

Worsened, he plunged deeper into his soul when he saw his own father making a speech that made his heart ache. And the laughter of his half-brothers unconsciously made him wake up the figure staring in his soul.

Shortly before the knife was dropped, Arcas suddenly closed his eyes unconscious which he thought was the end.

When he opened his eyes again, Arcas saw the city that had become a sea of fire and corpses and diras. Feeling that he was grasping something, Arcas looked at his hand which turned out to be carrying a head without a body, the head of the king.

Suddenly he felt pain all over his body that made him fall to the ground while groaning in pain. Arcas glimpsed a familiar man standing in front of him with a smile and Arcas also smiled with a relieved heart feeling seeing the man fine until he closed his eyes again.

Morning at the royal palace of Regalia. Inside the room, Xio suddenly opened his eyes and in front of his eyes he immediately saw the white ceiling of the roof of the room patterned with golden dragons.

He suddenly smiled considering his past that he had just witnessed, and he had already earned some points.

When viewing the memories on his new status screen reached 4%, he again became flat.

'what is my past really?' Inner Xio was curious.

"Away awake?"

Xio was startled and immediately got up when he heard the voice of someone in his room, but he did not feel the presence of other people in there.

Someone was standing on the balcony with the door open.
