The night before Beret had knocked Adi's inn room hard enough to force her out with a sleepy face.
"Owh, Beret... What's wrong?"
"Sorry to interrupt your sleep, this town needs your help, we're under attack by monsters."
"It's not that guild adventurers are top-level, you must be kidding, right?" to need Adi's help obviously it doesn't make sense.
Adi himself felt so seeing how all adventurers are arrogant people.
"No I'm serious, maybe after you see it for yourself you'll believe."
Adi glanced at the two girls who were still asleep on the bed, they had been working hard enough all day in hunting rabbits so it was natural that they would have some difficulty waking up.
"Let's go."
Adi locked his inn room and put the key in between the doors, they should be fine now.
Following the Berets he reached outside the city with many dead monsters as well as a collection of adventurer corpses, they were the ones who laughed at him upon entering the guild.
"This?"
The number of monster corpses was more even so Adi did not find any surviving adventurers. Beret pointed towards the forest.
"Some of the adventurers who lived tried to lure out the most powerful monsters."
"In other words just one.?"
Beret nodded in return.
"I hate the guild system that is only adrift with powerful adventurers, if there are many adventurers here they can definitely overcome it by working together."
What Beret said is true, however the number of people is always a separate advantage when in battle, the reason why Adi more make Shadow Hunter organization because of that too.
How strong one is still remains to have certain limits. It is a pity that the devil thinks the same.
"Adi be careful."
Adi ran while leaving the words behind him, he began to enter the forest. By following the fallen trees as well as the branches of the crushed bushes he saw about 5 people helping each other to block the attack of a powerful monster.
The monster was what was referred to as a Minotaurus with four hands as well as a snake tail, about 7 meters high with a breath that released flames into the air.
"Don't kill me, don't!"
One who asked for mercy died with his head split in two, the other chose to run away but one of them had lost one part of his body just like that.
One more person was split back, and the rest were crushed with their heads crushed by being stepped on.
The organs in their bodies were strewn with bloodstains that washed away the green color of the grass.
No one survived. If left unchecked, then the city will have the same fate.
Not wanting this to happen, Adi immediately threw a bomb under the Minotaurus' feet, creating an explosion capable of making a buzz in the ears. Minotaurus is still standing and now his gaze is directed at Adi. He did not carry a sword or a weapon in his hand even so his claws could kill a person easily.
Adi prepared as Minotaurus charged at him with a horn. Adi dropped several giant spikes from the sky that the Minotaurus managed to avoid.
"It didn't work, how about this?" his yell.
He shot a revolver unfortunately the power of the monster is beyond common sense. Adi created several layers of protection but one by one destroyed.
The hard horn hit his body directly forcing Adi to spurt blood from his mouth until he slammed several times on the ground before piercing through the rock to explode.
He stood up while chanting healing magic, to meet a monster as strong as this beyond his will. Even so, Adi smiled happily and then replaced his weapon with a sword that appeared automatically.
"You're a match to gauge my current abilities, go ahead."
Feeling provoked by Adi's provocation, Minotaurus let out a shrill sound before finally running back.
Using a protective something free. Adi chose to dodge it and see if he could counterattack or not.
