BEHIND THE TWILIGHT

BEHIND THE TWILIGHT
Ch. 43

Handoko pinched her temple with a troubled feeling. Since this morning, since Firman confirmed his departure to America, the father of two children seemed to have a bad feeling.

Until now, morning has passed and noon has ruled the face of the earth. The heat of the sun made Handoko feel dizzy in her head.

Staring at the expanse of the city from behind the big window in his room at this time. His brain again rotated in the times when Bara who always approached his eldest son. Then, the times where the Word is always deft help him in his work.

Really, taking the Word off was so hard for him. However, he had to do it for the good of his family. Not if two children are trapped in a love that they should not feel at a young age. But who would have thought if one of his daughters had actually violated the rules that he had set for many years?

The phone on the table rang, making Handoko's attention diverted. Grab it, then press the green dial to answer the call.

"Hallo Word, what's up? Shouldn't you be on the plane this afternoon?" ask Handoko quickly. For some reason, his heart was so violently rumbling. In fact, before he had never felt like this other than when he lost his beloved wife.

"The word!" snarled Handoko with annoyance because across there was absolutely no answer.

"Sir Handoko.please me."

Handoko. Something jolted at his heart hearing a weak voice across there. Moreover, the sobs of the middle-aged man sounded so heartbreaking to Handoko herself.

"Where areyou? What's going on?"

"Hospital Mulia Sir, close to the airport. We-"

Decide on the call quickly before the Word completes its speech. Handoko immediately rushed to his car and darted towards the Hospital called by Firman a moment ago.

Feel very guilty if something happens to the Word and his family. Wasn't he the one who asked Firman to go to America, take care of his company that was there? Separating the only child of the puppet Word with his firstborn alone has made his heart feel bad, separating two people who he believes love each other. Especially until something happens to the family?

It does not have to take a long time for Handoko to come quickly to the Hospital. Already memorized the route of travel to make it easier to rush faster to the destination.

Keep looking to and fro where the existence of the subordinates in his office, but never found. Until finally, the middle-aged man ran towards a reception room to find the data of patients he wanted to meet.

"Firman Wijaya" he said when the young woman questioned what the name of the patient he wanted to meet.

A moment later, the young woman spoke again. Tells where the middle-aged man is who he considers his own sister.

Then, Handoko darted towards where the Word was.

"The word!" call Handoko when the corner of her eye has found the Word in the distance. A little run up to the middle-aged man, then hug him for a bit. Invite the business partner to sit down and calm down.

"What's the Word? Say it!"

"We were in Mr. Handoko's accident. Bara, me, and my driver."

"God! Where's?"

"Near the airport sir. Suddenly in a corner there was a hox truck across the road, my driver did not know until finally could not avoid. My driver died at sir's place." sobbed Firman with sobbing. I felt so overwhelmed by what happened a moment ago.

Handoko was in his place, a small swipe on the back of the Word stopped for a moment. "Then your son?" asked with a heart beating.

"Bara's? He's in that room, sir." point the Word at a sealed room.

"It's been a few hours the Doctor handled Bara, but no one has come out of the room yet, sir." continued Firman with a sobbing that increasingly sounded bitter. Imagining Bara drowning in blood in a car made him very hit. Coupled with the departure of the driver that happened that second.

"Then, how's your condition?" handoko asked back to rub the back of the Word. Trying to cover up the feeling of a heartache that hit his heart.

"I'm fine, sir. There's nothing to worry about. I was thrown out of the car when my driver tried to dodge the transverse box truck."

Right after the Word said, it opened the door of the room which had been closed for several hours without anyone coming out. Handoko swiftly brought the trained Word to the Doctor who handled Bara for a few hours ago.

"Helly! How's Bara doing?" tanya Handoko mentioned the name of the Doctor who turned out to be her own sidekick. Incidentally, Helly was the owner of the famous large Hospital.

"Handoko, do you know the young man inside?" helly asked as she removed the glasses and mask that covered part of her face.

"Yes, he's the son of the Word. My son's friend too. How's things going? It's okay, right?"

The Word grew sobbing when he heard the doctor's words.

"Chief Bara. The bones of the young man were also broken. It's been so fatal. I suggest that Bara be immediately taken Abroad. I will direct. Should be taken to Doctor Hartono Hospital. I know he's a great specialist."

Handoko and Firman just nodded. Then, when Helly wanted to leave, Handoko blocked the Doctor's arm. "Did Bara survive?"

"We wish you the best. If Bara says he can survive, he will most likely have memory loss."

Handoko nodded back, then let go of Helky to immediately take care of everything needed for the Bara's referral to Overseas which Handoko did not know where the place was.

"Firman, do your best for your son. Don't hesitate to ask me for help. Go awayl. I will take care of your driver's business here." said Handoko calmly.

"Thank you Sir! Thanks!" said Firman while peeping the back of Handoko's hand repeatedly.

"Your job is just to go, don't think about any costs. I'm the one who bears." it's Handoko's form of guilt to her business partner. Although he was not the one who caused the accident, but was he not the one who asked the Word to leave?

"I have to pick up my kids. I'll go first, okay?" pamit the owner of the company.

"Yes Sir. Thank you, sir."

"Remember, do your best for Bara. Whatever it is. Let me know when it's over."

"And, Word!" facing back to his business partner who was confused because Handoko suddenly hugged him for a moment.

"I'm sorry I had to make you leave this city and cause everything to happen."

"Sir, it's not your fault." bela Firman shook his head.

"You know the Word how much I love my children. I only protected them from the love they weren't supposed to feel at their young age. So young. If fate had allowed Bara and Luna together, I'm sure they would have met again."

"May Sir. Just three Bara returned, without any shortcomings" said the Word with sobbing anyway.

"I go first." said Handoko one last time.

Walking upright towards his car, occasionally heard long breaths from the lips that look darker.

Grabbing his phone while walking, Handoko then looks for a number that he believes should know this problem.

"Luna, Bara and her father had an accident this morning."

While the girl who was told suddenly is now even drooping on the floor of the canteen. Making Laras strangled then moved to his best friend.

"Luna! Lo why?" asked Laras with a feeling of panic and worry.

"The crash race! Crash!" luna explained what she had heard from her father.

Not yet Laras again said, the bell home has rang loud deafening anyone who heard it.

Luna, too, rushed to leave Laras. Run to her class on the top floor, then call her dad.

"Dad, get me, right?"

"Yes,."

Nodding despite knowing Handoko can't see it. The girl ran around until she almost hit the body of a girl she knew very well. "Out Barrel! Sorry yes! I go home first" he said in a hurry. Laras could only nod then stare softly at the hasty departure of Luna.

"May Bara be well." he murmured with a hopeful prayer.
