Chapter 31: The Son of a Rapist

Rain clutched the Dew tightly as the girl hugged him, even letting the Dew cry, she felt that right now the girl she loved needed a backrest.

Rain invited Dewun to sit on a park bench next to the apartment, he grasped the Dew hand tightly as if he did not want to take it off.

"On the gossip, you don't have to think too much about it" said Rain trying to calm the feeling of Dewun.

"Actually I once wondered in the Heart, how could twin sisters have different faces? but I believe in papi and mami, they can't possibly lie" said Dewun, his voice still a little hoarse from crying too much.

Rain reached out one hand, rubbed the side of Dew's face that was still somewhat wet, then stretched out another hand and did the same. He smiled warmly so that Dewun felt calm and did not think bad anymore.

"All you hear is gossip, we don't know if it's right or wrong. So it would be nice not to trust him."

Dew nodded small, trying to smile even though it still felt so sad.

Rain felt a little calm when he saw the girl smiling. He brought the face closer, so that he could boldly touch the surface of their lips.

Dew was quite surprised by what Rain did, but even so he chose to close his eyes and let Rain kiss his lips.

On the other hand without them noticing, Bening had just gotten off the taxi. He deliberately came to the Dewun apartment to see the state of his brother, he felt a little regret with his attitude. However, Bening seemed to have to be disappointed, when he saw Rain and Dew who were sitting on the park bench. Intentions approached to approach, but who would have thought if Bening instead had to see Rain who smelled the Dew, making his chest cavity feel so tight. The angry and jealous people turned around.

Bening continued to clench both palms when taking a taxi to go home. His heart was so messed up when he saw the guy he liked kissing his sister, even though Bening knew they were dating, but he still liked Rain.

Meanwhile, Rea who went straight to Jogja after getting a call from Bening, has now arrived at Anisa's house. Bening who just got off the taxi, saw Rea who also just came. Not happy to see the mother coming, Bening even seemed so upset.

"Be, where are you from?" rea asked when she saw her daughter just arrived.

Instead of answering Rea's question or inviting the woman to sit down first, Bening instead immediately asked about the thing that had disturbed him.

"Origin of Dew, did Mama have an affair with her father?".

Rea was surprised as Bening directly asked about the matter. However, Rea tried to be calm, considering his arrival there was indeed to tell this.

" Why is Mama silent? answer Ma!"

Rea closed his eyes for a moment, inevitably he had to tell this. Rea tells Axel and she are not having an affair, but the man raped her. Rea explained that it was unintentional considering Axel was drunk and under the influence of alcohol.

"What?"

"Don't blame the Dew! Just like you, he doesn't know anything either, you kids don't have to bear the mistakes of parents" Rea said.

Bening felt annoyed and resentful when he learned that fact, but basically the hatred was actually triggered by jealousy of the relationship between Dewun and Rain.

"Why did Mom let him be born? I wouldn't have a brother like him!" Clear who did not accept, even angry and went straight into his room.

Rea was surprised by Bening's words, why was his daughter able to talk like that. While Rea's explanation of Axel who is actually good did not want to be heard by the girl.

"Be!" The Dew who saw Bening was walking alone, then called and chased his brother.

Bening who heard the sound of Dew calling, tried to ignore and increasingly quickly set foot, trying to dodge.

Dew felt strange because Bening instead accelerated his pace. He also ran as hard as he could to catch up and directly blocked Bening.

"Be, I'm calling you, why don't you stop?" asked Dew who was already in front of Bening, his breathing gasped for running.

Bening looked hatefully at Dewun, he did not want to talk to his brother and chose to avoid.

Dew is aware if Bening avoids it, then prevent the move by blocking the way back.

"What's up, Be? Is there a problem? Don't you intend to tell me?" ask Dew carefully.

The irritated Bening immediately shouted, making Dew and a few other students who flashed directly stare towards them.

"Yes, there is a problem! For what I told you, you are a disgrace, I regret having a brother like you. Why did you have to be born from my mother's womb? Why do you defend a baby from a rapist!"

Dew gasped with a Bening speech, his heart like being struck by lightning on a sunny day, even a round of clear crystals almost fell from his eyelids.

"I hate you!" Bening gave a hateful look, until he walked past the Dew and deliberately nudged his brother's arm.

Dew felt his heart was so broken, especially when Bening said that he was a child rapist. Dew ran out of the school area, did not go to class and ditched because his feelings were so chaotic.

Rain, who had arrived first, was seen sitting in class, waiting for Dew to come to make sure his girlfriend was okay. However, he was shocked when he heard his classmates see Dewun and Bening quarreling. Rain realized that the Dew had not yet come.

Rain opts out of class, walks quickly to Bening's class to meet and ask, what the kids say if Bening and Dew have a fight.

"What the hell, Rain?" tanya Bening brushed aside Rain's hand which pulled her to the side of the school building.

"You had a fight with Dew, where is he now?" tanya Rain was anxious, aware that her feelings and emotions were unstable right now.

"Where do I know," replied Bening lightly, as if indifferent to Rain's question.

"Why are you fighting?" asked Rain with a slight snapping tone, making Bening surprised.

Bening felt that Rain asked because she was merely anxious about Dew, making the girl return emotional and upset.

"Why? Why does everyone care about the Dew? What good is he? Did you know that he's the son of a rapist?!" Clear who is upset, trying to vent frustration and uncover who Dew really is.

Rain gasped with the girl's confession, until he smiled slanted in disbelief if Bening could talk like that.

"I'm disappointed in you, Be! Dew is your brother, but you could say that. Maybe you never really loved him. You're disappointing!"

Rain immediately left after saying the sentence, feeling that Bening was so outrageous that it was that long.
